Effect of combination of Fruitflow and aspirin on platelet function and endothelial cells
Objectives of Study
In vivo and cell tests were conducted to investigate the effects of Fruitflow? and the combination of Fruitflow? and aspirin on platelet function and endothelial cell function in healthy people over 50 years old and in sub-healthy people (at risk of cardiovascular disease).
Date of Registration:2020-07-12
Study execute time:From 2019-02-26 To 2020-11-13
Looks like 400 participants so if my memory is correct, its the biggest so far.

Note the study period. And some want news now.
Go figure
Hey gixer, superb stuff. I'm hoping the study is near completion.
Do u know what this study will help us to achieve. Maybe I'm too hung up on the fact SAMR doesn't allow healthy blood flow / platelet function claims! So, not sure what we will achieve.
It has occurred to me that I imagine Aspirin is sold in China for secondary prevention of heart disease , so how are they able to market their health claims given the Bluecap constraints?
...Perhaps Aspirin is evaluated differently as a drug as opposed to a supplement.
Perhaps the bod also see this as a way of achieving this statement “
The Company and DSM are keen to secure greater medical advocacy for Fruitflow® and the roundtable event forms part of this strategy.”
And this statement has been an ever present . “ ). China is now the world's second-largest pharmaceuticals market, measured by how much patients and the state spend on drugs (source: health-care information company IQVIA). The Company believes that Fruitflow has the potential to play an important role in the Chinese cardiovascular health market.“
Thank u, sphinx100... This study is brilliant news (it really is), but I would like to know more specifically how the study will help us in the Cardiovascular market.
Sock we won’t know that until the end of the study , my guess is a tablet containing both would have beneficial effects on blood flow maybe without the negative reaction that Aspirin alone has
Out of interest, can the combination of 2 supplements / drugs, reduce the side effects of side effects usually seen when one of the supplements / drugs is used alone? I've not heard of it before, but I'm not an expert on this.
I have no idea ,I’m not an expert either, but then that’s why it needs an 8 month trial to find out .
...more I think about it, the more I think FF & Aspirin as a combined drug, is aimed at the secondary prevention market.
I know this runs against the primary prevention strategy of the Company, but I can't see it being used in primary prevention due to Aspirin's side effects.
This might make way for a full scale drug trial in the years to come.
I'm no expert...just my initial thoughts.
" to investigate the effects of Fruitflow? and the combination of Fruitflow? and aspirin on platelet function and endothelial cell function in healthy people over 50 years old and in sub-healthy people (at risk of cardiovascular disease)."
I am no scientist but It seems like a comparison between aspirin and fruitflow and also to find out what happens if they are taken together on aggregation rate of platelet, Clotting function and blood pressure etc.
I suppose a good outcome would be ff is better than aspirin on the above and taking it with aspirin has no bad effects.
But wasn’t all that proved years ago , why go over the same ground when there is already a definitive study published, https://www.fruitflowplus.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/aspirin-study.pdf
"By-Health has made a significant investment in nine separate studies in China, at its sole expense, in support of the Fruitflow based products which it plans to launch in China. Studies conducted in China are needed to obtain ‘blue cap’ health claim status for dietary supplements, as required by the Chinese State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR). "
Frustrating but if its got to be....
Maybe this is the last of the nine studies , so after November when this study finishes, we might get our Samr approval , i won’t be holding my breath though .
We now know what Niamh is spending her time on. They now have 4 years of knowledge (since the previous study) to apply to the results analysis and hopefully come up with more benefits of FF that we haven’t thought of yet.
Nice one gixer
No business would spend all this time and money to confirm and research further health benefits of Fruitflow unless they also planned to buy Provexis out. IMHO
Wheelie
it does feel like BH are doing due diligence on us
