The results quoted "unprecedented demand" in the Fire Services division. PTSG have just noted the following, which would add hugely to even that "unprecedented" demand: Http://www.ptsg.co.uk/news/london-assembly-report-calls-mandatory-sprinkler-installations-uk-buildings/ "London Assembly report calls for mandatory sprinkler installations in UK buildings A new report released by the London Assemblys Planning Committee has outlined recommendations for making the installation of Automatic Fire Suppression Systems including sprinklers mandatory in all new-build residential developments above 18 metres in height. The report, called Never Again: Sprinklers as the next step in fire safety, has been drawn up in response to the recent Grenfell Tower tragedy, and states that London cannot afford to ignore the deadly consequences of failing to protect its buildings from fire. Published by the London Assemblys Navin Shah AM, the report calls for a risk-based, phased, road map towards making sprinklers mandatory in all homes in England. This includes the recommendation that Building Regulations should require all new residential buildings over 18 metres 6 storeys high, new care homes and sheltered housing be fitted with sprinklers immediately. It also recommends the retrofitting of sprinklers in all existing tall buildings, care homes and sheltered housing. The London Assembly report follows Dame Judith Hackitts Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, which is due to release its final report in Spring 2018. etc"

Numis today reiterate their Buy and 220p target: Https://macondaily.com/2018/03/21/premier-technical-services-group-ptsg-rating-reiterated-by-numis-securities.html If there are any negatives, they're to be found in the exceptionals which include very high share option costs. These are a function of the share price rise in the last year, and frankly given the terrific job that the PTSG team are doing I can't begrudge them their rewards.
Very happy! Not too sure why the price is dropping!
Rivaldo. Wholly agree, but others must have been expecting even more as otherwise we would be rising not falling ! Will continue hold .

Very happy holder!

I don't think it's anything to worry about, just a little more liquidity knocking about now and the whole stock market having a correction. I also topped up but it raised my average as I'm pretty confident there is going to be a nice rise coming up imo
ideas why the big downturn today ? At least it allows me the opportunity to average down.
News today of "one of PTSGs biggest lighting protection schemes to date" - and certainly highly prestigious: Http://www.ptsg.co.uk/news/ptsg-secures-lightning-protection-contract-at-battersea-power-station/ "PTSG secures lightning protection contract at Battersea Power Station Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has secured an order to provide lightning protection system installation at Phase two of a development project at Battersea Power Station. Specialist engineers from PTSGs Electrical Services division will attend the power station to provide a new lightning protection system to the existing power station structure. The new system will keep building users protected in the event of a lightning strike. The Phase two installation is one of PTSGs biggest lighting protection schemes to date and as such will require regular weekly attendances from both management and engineers to ensure the client receives the high level of service that is synonymous with the divisions work. As part of an extensive redevelopment, the Grade II* listed Battersea Power Station and surrounding area is being brought back to life as a mixed-use neighbourhood. The first phase of the scheme consisted of 12 high rise residential blocks to the west of the 39-acre site. Phase two of the development includes new retail space adjacent to the power stations two turbine halls, as well as commercial office space and residential apartments. Last year PTSGs engineers completed the lightning protection installation on the Battersea Power Station Phase one project, which commenced in March 2014. The Group has also recently secured contracts to perform several installations at residential and commercial developments in London and the South-east."
there is a lot to be aimed for it the Government and LA's are forced to comply: Three out of the 160 social housing towers identified as dangerous following the Grenfell Tower fire have been reclad with safer materials. Figures released by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government show that the number of council and private blocks over 18m high in England found to be wrapped in similar combustible plastic-filled cladding has increased to 312. A total of 299 are likely to be in breach of building regulations on fire safety. Just over 100 towers which are home to tenants who rent from councils and registered social landlords have not had any combustible cladding removed, despite panels failing tests. LGA Chairman, Lord Porter, said landlords needed urgent clarity about how they should be replacing materials on their high-rise blocks. Lord Porter said the Government must meet the unexpected exceptional costs from the major remedial works. PTSG's sprinklers would be just the ticket.
Encouraging to see PTSG winning work outside the UK now via this hospital in Gibraltar and elsewhere: Http://www.ptsg.co.uk/news/ptsg-strengthens-partnership-in-gibraltar-with-rooftop-installation/ Extract: "In recent years, PTSG has increased its delivery of work outside the UK, completing projects at many unique sites and in the process building partnerships with some prestigious international clients. The company also currently delivers remedial works to roof and chimney structures in the Caribbean for Barbadoss sole electricity utility provider, Barbados Light and Power." Also a renewal contract for fall arrest systems nationwide at Morrisons: Http://www.ptsg.co.uk/news/ptsg-renews-fall-arrest-contract-with-morrisons/ and impressively, a new contract at 100 buildings for the Department of Work and Pensions: Http://www.ptsg.co.uk/news/ptsg-returns-to-work-for-dwp-with-fall-arrest-contract-renewal/ "Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has received an order to provide fall arrest testing services for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The equipment is installed to provide protection to anyone carrying out high-level works at the sites."
and Paul Scott was spot on with his recent comments from the trading update: "Overall, it looks interesting, and if things continue to go well, I imagine Directors might reduce their shareholdings in secondary placings. This is likely to be a stock that institutions may want to buy, and the only source of stock would be from the Directors. It would be good to see liquidity improve, as it's a thinly traded share, due to the concentrated shareholdings shown above." full comments here but requires subscription to Stockopedia https://www.stockopedia.com/content/small-cap-value-report-tue-16-jan-2018-vanl-igr-ptsg-gym-jd-wand-idp-298633/
Great news that these shares were placed at 202.5p - essentially around the all-time highs! Https://www.investegate.co.uk/premier-technical--ptsg-/rns/director-pdmr-shareholding/201801190700053210C/ It's only a small percentage of the vendors' holdings, but it's natural they'd want to reduce at some stage from the almost 40% they own between them. More importantly, this increases liquidity and shows good institutional appetite for the shares. Evidently the story is beginning to be appreciated in the City.
Nice start today - and yet more contract news. Four new lightning protection contracts, plus most importantly, fire protection systems installations at 221 plots in a regeneration project in Lewisham: Http://www.ptsg.co.uk/news/ptsg-provides-safe-harbour-with-wharves-deptford-contract/ "PTSG provides safe harbour with Wharves Deptford contract Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has secured a contract to provide fire protection installations at a regeneration scheme in Deptford, South-east London. EPS December 2016 2.16p Share price when announced in March circa 1.00. Projected 2017 EPS 10.8p (Glaws2 post). Current share price 1.90. Could this price double when the results are published in March which would be inline with the EPS/Share price?
Numis have increased their target price to 220p (from 205p) and say Buy: Http://investing.thisismoney.co.uk/broker-views/
how the hell the SP hasn't caught fire today??? Ok it is up 4.6% but I have had shares where it says performance is materially weighted towards the second half and the shares can half. Yet a 2018 materially ahead statement hardly moves the needle. It must be a day to bury good news is all I can think of..
