In reference to the RNS and specifically the director selling some of his shares to fund a house purchase: "I wonder how much Alans house will cost him in real terms down the road. Asos - Quentin Griifiths sold a million at 8.25p raising £82,500 - which would be worth £55m now when thy were just a £35m m/cap co. I thought i did well in Asos at 3p and doubling my money in the early days. I like the look of PTO and the scale of the target market and could have big potential for just a £30m m/cap company, in profit at mid year with sales close to £18m/yr. Looking at Moni (different market) but £933m m/cap and sales of £78m/yr and loss making - shows how a company like PTO could be subject to major growth once others wake up to the size of its market place. I bought IOF middle of last year at 43p (then £55m m/cap on £12m revenues) which went on to 240p (£300m+ m/cap in 11 months though now dropped back to 150p/ on slightly slower progress). Could be a 6 - 10 bagger here and still be just a £2-300m m/cap with much higher upside once the numbers shine through. Have to say also as with the broker forecast lifted to 475p on PTO, the brokers were very much behind on the forecasts on Asos and IOF so there's every possibility that PTO performance could at some point significantly outpace the brokers." Extremely Buliish.
Can PTO can do 500% from £3.60?? Yes, I think they can.!! Market cap is £30M so £150M market cap is required. Profits of £5M on a tax free p/e of 25. Vista makes £3M today. Advance start up loss of over £1M a year turns into profits of £2M. Pub2Web profits start to roll in of over £1M a year. PCG profits hit £500,000 plus. Loan cost saving £300,000 a year.[should start end Jan 2014] R and D slashed by £1.5M a year. Then the big one China: Have you any idea what 80% digital / book market share is worth to tiny PTO.??? Add that lot up and see why I am so bullish.!!
Broker forecast April 2013 We have again revised our target price upwards as we continue to believe that Publishing Technology should see positive profits momentum now that its R&D cycle is nearly complete. As its products and/or services either reduce costs or introduce new revenue streams for publishers, there is in-built demand for PT’s solutions in our view. This is especially the case as publishers look to outsource more. In addition, considerable scope remains to penetrate its large customer base with more online products. As we flagged in our note “Profiting from R&D” on 5 March 2013, while it is our view that the Chinese JV could provide considerable upside to the Publishing Technology valuation, there is no profit contribution in our current forecasts. Our 360p target price has been arrived at by comparing PT’s target 2013E EV/sales of 1.8x to similar companies. This valuation is supported by a reverse DCF of 360p per share. We maintain our Buy recommendation. News from China: Broker lifts to 475p 30/08/2013 There have been a number of positive developments at this weeks Beijing International Book Fair for Publishing Technology (PT). Its chief executive, George Lossius, has been accepted onto the China Book Industry Advisory Board. Its JV partner has unveiled its first major release, the CNP eReading platform, a site that carries over 200,000 individual book titles from over 300 international publishers. In addition the first advance installation in China is likely to be moving to final contracts after PT signed a partnership agreement with China Law Press. While we are not changing our forecasts at this stage we believe that the risks to numbers are firmly to the upside as we have not included any significant contribution from China in them. As a consequence we are increasing our target price to 475p, which is derived by assuming a FY2014E EV/sales multiple of 2.1x, and we maintain our Buy recommendation. Since the two broker updates above the Chinese have put out the press release posted by me this morning. Thus I should think they will be up rating any day.
The Chinese deal is great news. However, I am still trying to quantify what it will mean in terms of revenure to PTO. I would have thought we'd get some kind of estimate of that, eiether from our Company directly or from their House Broker....??

Research pays, see my 8p header post on ADVFN [2012 share of the year.
Tara...some good calls I must say. WSG still has more to.come too as per last rns.
ATUK is my 2014 share of the year. WSG [2012] has now done 600% see my ADVFN BB THREAD. PTO [2013] has done 253% see my ADVFN thread.
I unlike most do a great deal of research, this BB is free to all posters just like any other. I buy research bombed out AIM stocks . Investors read all the posts on a BB and then make their minds up to sell or buy. Some I have seen do not like to see others doing well.!!
Thank you for a well balanced comment and observations alexgoodwin. While it is true tara7 has promoted some spectacular rises , how much of that increase is due to her constant hard sell and how much is the true valuation of the company. All her companies are small AIM’s listed where the volume of shares traded is small and this constant hard sell could influence enough buyers in to increase the share price. Most share chat posts are from investors communicating with each other trying to decide if share x is a good investment and asking questions. All Tara7 posts are hard sell. One can only come to the conclusion she has invested heavily in this share. One thing is for sure Tara7 will not post when she is going to start selling her holding. I ask myself what is Tara7 motivation for all her hard sell. Is this out of the goodness of her heart to help make investors rich or is she a large investor in a small companies trying to influence the share price for her benefit.
Sad to see you go.!! Yes I am keep never understand why any one buys a share if they are not.!! PTO has not even left the station, best to pop back in say 12 months when the growth I predict will I think be showing up.
I am still trying to find some proper Broker forecasts in terms of a detailed Brokers paper. I see the share price targets being lifted but what I don't see is the detail to back up the targets. Has anyone seen any research notes as I don't see any on the PTO IR website?
tara, I've dropped in to this board from time to time and found some of your posts useful so that's my starting point but I can't help agreeing with some of the other comments being made (or at least feeling they are a necessary balance). I have no way of knowing if you are intentionally pumping this share or whether you are just a very, (very, very) enthusiastic individual so you have the benefit of my doubt. So assuming your positivity is quite genuine, and good luck to you, I'm still not sure it does this board ay good to have such a constant stream of sales-like posts that never ever reflect anything but 100% positive spin. And I do say "spin" because some of the info, whilst not bad news, is probably nothing special and yet is portrayed as something amazing. The problem for all of us here is it feels like we are locked in a timeshare sales pitch and that this share is somehow guaranteed to defy the norms of the market -there is no risk and all investors will be millionaires this time next year. I can't help feeling that if you ever came across anything that resembled bad news you wouldn't tell anyone. Of course you are entitled to your opinion and these boards would be a useless desert if no one shared theirs but blind faith is surely less helpful than a bit of balance. There are plenty of examples on other boards where people are very clearly positive about the prospects of a stock and they share that view regularly but it's not a sales carpet bombing. My position (if it's even relevant) is that I had an extremely small holding until earlier today (wish I had bought more at the time) and I sold out partly because I've actually been freaked-out by your posts. Yes I know it's pathetic and dangerous to be influenced by chatrooms and I expect to find it was the wrong decision but that's the truth of it. I hope you're not offended by what I've said as it's not my intention but I couldn't stay silent any more. My hope is that you keep posting but with a little more variety. I reckon it's an exciting share and I hope you and other investors do very well from it -and I'll be back in with a larger investment if it drops again!!!
Pump-and-dump is somthing that Tara7 knows all too well about, filling message boards that urge readers to buy a shares and crowing about it makes me think he may be a major share holder as the level of his answers are put downs.I doubt he will be so forth coming when he dumps them. Often peolple like this will claim to have information about an impending development or to use an "infallible" combination of economic and share market data to pick shares. In reality, why would he be so interested in giving so much information unless he was using others for his own gain.
True but they are the House Broker. I'd like to see some independent Broker research or PTO to appoint a second Broker in order to get a balanec opinion. Don't get me wrong, I'm LONG in PTO but just want to see a balanced view

I have moved some money out of QPP into PTO recently, but want to see hard facts in terms of revenue and profit growth before investing more. Iam sure it will come but some people need to see that before investing. They may of course miss out on the low Share Price but its about risk v reward.
Yet still investors have not seen the growth to come here.!!!
