Increased target price 14/03/13 £2.60p to £3.60p BUY. We have again revised our target price upwards as we continue to believe that Publishing Technology should see positive profits momentum now that its R&D cycle is nearly complete. As its products and/or services either reduce costs or introduce new revenue streams for publishers, there is in-built demand for PT’s solutions in our view. This is especially the case as publishers look to outsource more. In addition, considerable scope remains to penetrate its large customer base with more online products. As we flagged in our note “Profiting from R&D” on 5 March 2013, while it is our view that the Chinese JV could provide considerable upside to the Publishing Technology valuation, there is no profit contribution in our current forecasts. Our 360p target price has been arrived at by comparing PT’s target 2013E EV/sales of 1.8x to similar companies. This valuation is supported by a reverse DCF of 360p per share. We maintain our Buy recommendation.

CUP results make very interesting reading - excellent profits, good growth prospects and noteworthy cash holdings (though quite high debt...). Do you know why it slid to begin with? 50% down in a year is a hellava loss!
Do you understand just what a great J/V we have in China with the state run publisher with 60% of the book market.? Have you understood that the Chinese are going like made to get digital within this 5 year plan.?? They are up and running on our Pub2web platform. That pub2web platform produces recurring revenues. The broker has not yet got round to factoring it into profits. When he does.???
DYOR, but CEO just purchased £1M worth of shares after a very strong result, very prosperous future, though the share has been sliding for the last three months, so very nice entry point...good luck. by the way, company has been purchasing shares back, average price £1.40-£1.50 per share, now for sale £1.17
Should have been in this today - only hoping EVO produces the goods on Monday and creates some money for me to bring here for the longer term. Good luck and well done to those enjoying the current ride!
I'll second that!! On the strength of Faraday I bought TRCS at 60p and its trebled. I bought MOS at 24p and that trebled. Loads of other success too. Definitely worth the subscription. Talk to Rob or any of the guys on 01872 265333. I'm not getting anything from this just want others to profit from their excellent research!!
What ever is in it must be good, stock shot up yesterday and on the move again now.!!
Does anyone have any access to the Faraday report and could they post it if possible.thanks in advance
See my last post and view the two clips the first has a link the 2nd is at the bottom of the post. The broker has not even put China into ANY forecast yet.!!

However the market is closed off to from many foreign companies as a result of government restrictions. “Just three or four companies are licensed to import e-books in China,” said Lisa Liping Zang, Director of the International Department at e-publisher Cloudary, but the government is reluctant to issue a sales license to a company like Amazon out of concern that they would not be able to fully control what goes on sale. “[The foreign companies] will have to win the support of the largest print publishers and most of those are state-owned as well.” "The aim of the Digital Gateway project was to create the most significant resource for international digital content in China on the pub2web platform. Yet it quickly became apparent that there was also scope for creating a portal to export Chinese content digitally across the globe, in line with the Chinese government’s strategy. Subsequently Ingentaconnect China was born. These dual Chinese projects have grown in size, significance, ambition and potential, so much so that we now expect to make millions of international online resources available in China and vice versa, opening up new avenues of collaboration on content and culture." GO to the BB boards. TAP IN PTO READ good luck.!
A few points for new investors. The first being, do some sums yourself, PE, the going rate in the sector is 20 that will require a profit of just £1M. Do you think they would spend around £3M for each of the last six years to get back £1M a year.??? Have you noted that China is not even in the forecasts, yet take a look at the size of the project.?? Best bet is to read my ADVFN header, it will take two hours. Then you will see why another poster has put the stock at £10.00.
L2 MM's 3 v 2 @ 240p v 2.50p Buys coming in @ 248.50p Looks Ok for you here mate. gl
question is, following the initial rush to buy on the back of the faraday/weshouse reports, will this retrace over the next few days? If not, we are pretty much already at Westhouse's target price for 2013 (260)... how much more growth is there in it short to medium term?
See my BB thread now has broker report.!![bottom of header post.] NOTE broker has not taken into account China yet.!!!
their end of year reports certainly make interesting reading! What do you reckon about a debt to prorfit ration just under 4? Risky or not - depends on projected inome, I suppose, and all the indications on revenue streams in the report are very postiive...
Really like the look of this company and shares that are in demand!! Glad to see the slide on MOS has stopped!
A buy recommendation was posted by Faraday Research before open today which would explain buys and SP rise.
