So overdue its not a joke anymore. I wonder if this lot are at wine parties with Boris.
You are so right Tony. Paul's promise to engage more with shareholders was just so much hot air. It would be nice to know if the USA listing is still being pursued. I really hope the Yanks put us out of our misery soon.
It would be great if we had a Pensana shareholder who had Ian Duncan Smith as their MP. I have contacted Ian on one occasion with an article in Taiwan press about rare earths. He has asked the current administration a few weeks back why on earth nothing was happening at Saltend with no Government decisions. Making battery giga factories is not much good if they have no source for rare earths and magnet production, Ministry of Defence suppliers need it in their supply chains on various kit, power stations need to be built to provide electricity capacity to use EV cars and if they want sustainable wind farms they need those rare earths being made into magnets. Just wish someone would wake up government, make decisions, help plan the future properly for once and the future that is desired arrives. Instead we have someone lecturing on Peppa pig and getting plastered with his wine delivered in suit cases with subordinates. Tony
Dumbo, Congratulations I suspect that you are starting to realise the importance of Rare Earths in the coming EV revolution, Just as you can't efficiently crack petroleum oil without a catalyst, you can't really power an EV without Rare Earths !
However it seems that you still need to do some research into LCM. As far as I can tell they occupy just a small area of the production chain ie Smelting of RE oxides to produce the pure metals, they are neither miners, refiners of magnet manufacturers nor actual Magnet producers. Further more it looks like they obtain their feedstock thru a convoluted supply channel that starts with some very questionable individuals who are known to have illegally mined Beach Sands in India ~ You yourself have made a big issue out of Thorium; have you ever wondered where the very high (~10%) of Thorium typically found in those Beach sands has ended up ?
Dumbo, how many times do you have to be told, Don't make statements on subjects you have no knowledge of !
We are still waiting for that list of 20 advanced Projects that are going to meet Market demand in the next couple of years ?
Morning DP - 7:22am on a board of a company you have no shares in because you have no life :)
Dumbpunter - Perhaps it is timely to remind everyone of your ability to predict what happens in the EV supply chain.
Remember making this statement? "British volt were setup by Management consultants and a watch salesman. Zero relevant experiance or serious funding. I suppose they have employed a Chemist, but they are chancers.
Britishvolt are a marketing consultancy and sales people. No money or product or manufacturing skills."
Isn't this the same company that HMG have provided a £100m ATF grant to and have attracted £1.7bn funding from Abrdn and Tritax?
Be honest with yourself, you are clueless.
Do we think that the company has heard nothing from the ATF since last March or that the company has heard something but doesn’t particularly want to share the news with its shareholders? Which is true??
Hi Theo. My first post on this board, but been a long term holder since buying in at 50p.
I think you will find that the company has been advised that some form of ATF support has been recommended, but is yet to be ratified by the Treasury and Pensana will have had to sign an NDA to not make any announcement until the Government commits any funding. I am equally frustrated with the long wait for news, but I guess there are lots of current pressures on where the money is spent.
Once hopefully the ATF funding is made public there will loads of good news to quickly follow.
Both Ford and BritishVolt announced ATF funding at the same time as announcing private investment. The same will be true for Pensana.
Some people must know more than others…. Almost everyday there are a couple / few massive purchases. Surely these people are not throwing 100k day after day just on a gut feeling? Top 20 are accumulating like they know something…. They now hold about 87% (I think)
Can only presume they know more than small investors.
Your post is like LSE catnip to 2 particular contributors. Wait for it.....
LSE is showing a spread of +71%. Really?
I presume something is about to blow...
Remembering of course that most of those 20 are nominees so many thousands (likely) of small investors there. Agree though that someone keeps hitting up for big chunks which is shown post bell - last 3 days in particular.
Yes and again, it looks like we have to rely on the Yorkshire Post for new information relating to Pensana. What on earth are their PR Team up to? Let's hope the "Post" have got an Angolan sibling paper who can provide footage / info. about how the mine development at Longonjo is going - no s******ing at the back!!!
** Almost 90% of shares will be owned by Top 20 come 28th Feb at this rate….
Why would P.A. need to update the other 10% with any info? Really why?
P.A. has 18 of top 20 still acquiring monthly…. Why? What do they know? Why are the Top 20 so enthusiastic to keep buying? Does he take their calls? Does he answer their questions? What do they know?
Stencil, Pensana is main board listed, it would be exceptionally foolish to share information with some shareholders not others. I don’t think the company has any info to distribute just now. ATF is dead. Run into a total brick wall with the finance. Atherley does not have the wherewithal to get the company moving, he has three epic fails under his belt, He lost the confidence of Hohnen and Maclachlan, that’s where the real brains were.
Theo - you really are a bitter man. What has Paul Atherley done to you? Whatever it is, let it go. You may then find some peace and happiness.
SunDrum, it’s not what he’s done to me, I wouldn’t touch a PA business, it’s about what he’s about to do to you!!
MrStencil360, most of the top 20 are nominee accounts, i know, I’m in one of them….. they are convenient holding mechanisms for electronic share transactions, they are also useful for concealing the actual owners of other minority shareholdings. Nominee accounts usurp some of your rights, compared to if you are a conventional shareholder. But even then a shareholder can get his voting rights back by Proxy. Somebody made a statement today, that because we only have 13% of the votes we cant wag the dog. your rights and mine are as valid as anyone else’s. You just need to shout loud enough. As far as i am aware, the ASWF own 23%, M&G own 5%, PA has a large lump, and others own less than 5% each. So where did the 13% figure come from
Why would PA update the other 10%?, because the moral obligation to do so, that why!!!
And Theorist, Hohnan and Machlaclan still own their shares
Nothings stops the accumulator
1st Feb 5.51pm 100,000 purchase
1st Feb 5.52pm 100,000 purchase
3rd Feb 4.18pm 100,000 purchase
Multiple purchases every week… most reported after closing.
He must know something..? more than most!
It’s a very positive sign isn’t it, but I wouldn’t say they know more than most… I reckon 95% are holding and buying because they know what’s just up on the road ahead. The trend and demand is going to be ridiculous and this company is positioning itself brilliantly.
DP cool your jets mate, you really do get your ******** on at times. Everyone has the right to invest, with any amount of $ or experience.
Go easy on the attack and voice your opinion the right way about the issues, not the individuals. Hell you may teach us something,,,great.
I for one am still learning, but I'm smart enough to use my connections and buy a **** load of PM8 at IPO in 2017, here in Perth. We all have our goals and different ways to achieve them geeza.
A statement, not a question. Case closed, happy trading lads and lassies
