AA,
CEO's have a varying effect on the companies they run, and TC is top of the apex. That's probably one of the reasons why the company has such a low institutional ownership - institutions don't want to put large sums of money where only one guy is in charge (ever) and he, in turn, doesn't want institutional ownership as it might attempt to cramp his style. So everything in PMG is TC all the time - every second non-regular RNS seems to be about his related party matters.....
Thought the tanking after the farm purchase was overdone (it's not actually significant) but it just keeps falling, and unless and until we hear news to the contrary (hear news from PMG - ha ha!!), this driver is driving the bus into a brick wall. Might have lots of company ATM given global events, but we saw no reaction to the post farm-purchase share price collapse and no response to this further collapse. $30m allows management draw remuneration packages for years to come - why should it worry?
Serious buy...... has he got his ear to the ground
Nice buy! Was that our Bentley boy?
With CV rife atm TC will not be going ahead with wind turbines and the tipperty farm B&B will suffer this season.
Scoob: You need to slow down on the keyboard to many typos. I hear you but Canna believe you bye bye 25s
You sound desperate Scoob? Last chance to get in cheap.
Makes it look worse for PMG though doesn’t it when you see what they were trading at previously, if you want to go off of stats SOB you can’t win this one son!
We can’t all be wrong and you correct,
Let’s just put it into perspective then, PMG was at 80p this year then dropped to 18p Wow! You should of kept quiet, instead you kept screaming this is the bargain of the century, a cheap as chips, going back to £1 , now you’re saying £1.50 come on grow up and be honest with yourself because you’re certainly not being heist with others here ! Is it because if you accept the fact that you will never see £1 in your life time, that you realise you’re fooked?
Never put all your eggs in one basket, TC hasnt, he has bought a castle, bought land, bought an oil company and higher percentages in an oil field Athena that had to close down, the man is trying to keep ahead of the game, but it’s just not working this time around for him, his luck has run out,
Stay safe as health is the most important thing right now!
Easyp:: oil majors are only wanting the big prize......Tom won't sell up.....Wind turbines coming soon at Tipperty
Watch this space.....GPA deferred till oil price picks up.
Oil analyst Daniel Yergin’s book The Prize has been described as “the canonical history of the oil industry.” As a value investor, the part I found most interesting was the section on the 1980s oil price slump, when many oil companies traded for less than the value of the untapped oil and gas they owned underground.
In Yergin’s words, both oil companies and outside investors eventually realized it was ‘cheaper to “explore for oil on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange” - that is, buy undervalued companies - than to explore under the topsoil of West Texas or in the seabed of the Gulf of Mexico.’ Once investors realized this, they bought up oil company shares, causing them to rise to a price that better reflected the value of the companies’ underlying assets. Since value investing is all about buying a company’s stock for less than its underlying value, this story was unsurprisingly appealing to me.
PMG has gas and oil reserves, in the couple of years an oil major will make a bid and get it cheap.
Lse not working properly so Pmg not up 4% more like flat.
Scooby: come on be fair CLN were they not 3 p last year.....
And u saying TC sniffing ......Big Doubt it !
SOB PMG up 4% CLNR up 8% lol idiot
SOB you stopped pointing 80p now £1.50 are you completely thick?
How many years you been pumping this while it’s been dropping ever since?
Sound like a desperate man now ! Bet you wish you never heard of PMG or TC ha ha
Davide: don't listen to the blood hound he was punting CLN and it's tits up......15 p will never happen !
Better chance of £1.50
Never said it was a dim post! Glad you did well previously. You must be expecting oil price to reduce further to attain your entry point. You may well be right.
AA yep TC sold it as the offer was great took it from 6p to dizzy heights of £17 I think it was in the end, he was holding out for £21 as he was screaming that he was bringing more oil into production, and Dana was selling about 36,000 bond if I remember right, he said it would be selling 50,000 in the future, but KNOC has him by the *******s, because they had the backing of the major shareholders, I thought he would have learnt his lesson and not distribute so many shares again here p, he hasn’t learnt that’s obvious,
It was when he sold to KNOC that he said he wished he kept it private, that was the reason I said it, you’re only as good as your last deal! ??
Davide why was it a dim post?
It’s a fact fella, I was in here before you even heard of this company back in 2010,
I got out before consolidation, I bought at 7/8p sold at 22p then dilution happened, waiting to get back in, I will have 100,000 scares here at 15p when it comes
AA think you need to go to specsavers it was scooby that said it I think! Anyway the dim and distant past is done, thoughts on when oil price war may end and who will blink first welcome .
Sob, I don't understand the relevance of your comment, TC wishes he had kept Dana as a private entity?
Not why he sold it?
But I'm pleased your happy with the progress.
Keep on rocking in the free world.
AA: Everyone knows Dana got bought out ! Not why did he sell .
The Farm is the best buy for alternative energy in these past years.
TC currently proving himself in these difficult times
These equity firms are all leaving the scene.....
Rock on Tommy !
Why did he sell Dana ? Couldn't have been anything to do with a big fat cheque dangled in his face,
Maybe he wants his cake that he's already eaten,
I would have thought that there where more direct ways to invest in alternative energy than buying a vegan farm for the mrs,
TC still has some way to go to prove himself a success with Parkmead .
It's rumoured that they may have found a gold seam whilst digging the swimming pool at Pitreadie.. ;-)
What's with the rise anticaption of good reults
I said years ago that TC is in record for saying he wished he kept Dana a private entity, I also told you guys he was going to be investing in alternative energy before any of you even knew about the land purchase, I also said he would buy up certain companies, he did in ken of them and waiting for another, you have to use common sense in business, and think outside of the box, this rise in FTSE is a dead cat bounce, it may fall back again as fast as it has risen, be prepared, we are far from being out of the woods,
Most important thing right now is to say safe!
Live to fight another day,
Marty, are you saying it's all about Tom?
