Brent crude up to $43.28 now.
RNS comes across as they have a good plan and brilliant hedging position.
As someone else posted with 12,000 bopd every extra $ in the price recived for Brent goes a long way.
All IMHO
Just top up if you can afford it and hold for 2 years
Should easily be double the price it is today, at 12kbopd.
Good upbeat strong update.
Very surprised of the current share price.
Why Pharos Energy could be well placed to recover from volatility
Quality and value are two of the most powerful drivers of stock market profits. After the economic turmoil and market volatility we've seen in 2020, it's possible that these two factors could have a major influence on the Pharos Energy (LON:PHAR) share price.
For contrarian investors looking for shares that are overlooked by the market, quality and value are vital clues. Research shows that good quality, cheaply priced shares can deliver stunning returns over time.
So it's no surprise that these rules are used by some of the world's most respected investors - from Joel Greenblatt to Warren Buffett.

No ideas from any punters in recent days .... why so quiet ... is this share out of favour??
I've got a nice little holding now of these . looks value compared to its peers, after covid and subsequent bounces
Bought a moderate cache of these this morning at 16.98. It seems a little under the radar and more potential for up.
I fancy it will top $43 soon.
short that sunk the price which is now closed.
Brent currently $42, and with the EIA report earlier today showng a draw on the USA crude oil stocks of 7.1 million barrels I should think it will go $43, or more soon.
All IMHO.
all Quiet in here !! I'm expecting a bounce back up to 24 ish at sometime soon , I even bought a few more !!!! GLA
bouncing back
Hi
I used to be invested in Soco and this has underperformed , i sold at a loss but not at these levels luckily and have bought in recently and traded back to a gain. if you looked at the share price it is cheap, need to understand why?
1) Doesnt produce much oil compared to others so rise in oil wont materially improve the business as compared to Tullow or PMO but it does help its profitability
2) TLW and PMO have a lot of debt compared to Pharos but they have a lot of assets that can be sold off which they are in the middle of.
3) Egypt deal here is not as great as management make out, but it gives it a second base to diversify a one trick pony which was Vietnam, but Vietnam has served the company well.
4) They keep living in the past and talk about $500m given back to shareholders, yes they may have compared to recent performance and shareholder destruction I would stop bragging about.
This will catch up but it is hard to judge when it will jump and what that means, if they find more oil in Egypt it will help for sure.
Nothing I can see too much, it does look undervalued vs most other oilies, it's not bounced anywhere near the amount of others from pre crash.
If you think Oil has a future then this share is currently way less than half-price.
All
Just come across this company.
Seems a bargain of a share price?
Any large risks?
Seems to be buying limits in place, had to split my order for £2500 worth, anything above 10000 shares went to NT all the time
Correction, actually £70m current market cap
Pharos Energy at £80m market cap is one of the cheapest around imo, turns our 12,000bopd, hedged oil price, and a good history of passing cash to shareholders, have returned over $500m in dividends.
get through 19 and mid twenties will follow shortly
Before the stampede
I'm amazed its so quiet in here ! proper under the radar
Bargain for buyers under 24 .made by a desperately seller
I'm amazed this is under the radar , as most Oilies have bounced back to between 50 and 70 % of their pre covid prices, this has much further to rise to get to pre crash prices .
it was shorted, and Brent was more like $36............................................
One would think the sp is going back to **** 24p ****, it is only 17.8 now...................................
