I think it’s a very fair criticism of Darren/the company that they took a risk by starting the drilling campaign as late as they did. However, I don’t think the outcome is bad at all. We have core from three of the targets and a chance to take stock on what best to do next
I get what you are saying Levi.. his vocabulary is not the best and that does let him down....
But no one is perfect.... my take.... I love the **** or bust go for it attitude....
Drilling and discovery is where the money is..... There is a a fair bit to back up the current SP....
Few shares ATM and a small market cap..... love it ...
Have great weekend . everyone.....
bitcoinbuyer you are totally missing the point.
Let's hope you are right.
I am not talking Darren down, he making a good enough job of that all buy himself for anyone who can see the wood for the trees.
I hope you are all ready for some mega assays here....
So undervalued and so much upside... lots of critical minerals @ The Obonga greenstone belt.
You can all keep talking Darren Down... All Be humble pie if the truth machine hits...that is if you are holding any stock
All pie in the sky white noise ...until the results come just relaaaaaaax its Friday
ATB
Indeed they could JP2000 but if they are not then we will be left wondering about the prospects that weren't drilled. But we don't know what was drilled or what wasn't.
Were the full 6 holes done at Wishbone and 3 at Awkward. If they were then they were done at lightning speed. But that's all academic. We raised for a dedicated program that was not completed but lucky for Darren enough to spin it a success. If the snow had come a week earlier where would we be.
Hazelwood has turned in to the car salesman that he looks and sounds rather than different to the rest CEO he set himself up as.
I've averaged down recently and are torn between pointing out Darrens inadequacies and talking up the prospects because both are true.
Immensely frustrated with the Obonga comms and that lies fairly & squarely with the CEO.
Awkward or Wishbone can be company makers and that is the gamble.
Mine is the obvious one - I own the shares, think they are undervalued, and like discussing them with other genuine holders
Metalhead25, your entire contribution to LSE seems to be pumping bad shares. Not sure what your agenda is?
But that is rubbish Metalhead, we had a big raising for a very definite drilling plan which was laid out in full detail and it has not been completed. I want to know how much of the 3000mts was completed and what targets were not done as the plan laid out and it should be set out in a RNS, not in a short video.
I would suggest he has been very lucky in that the snow did not come earlier or there were no drilling issues.
Were 6 drills done at Wishbone, 3 done at Awkward. We drilled for 2wks so can't imagine we have done a whole lot of that proposed 3000mts.
Stan, your entire contribution to LSE seems to be slating CEOs. Not sure what your agenda is - either shorting or massively disgruntled and not able to see that talking down your own investments isn’t helping.
Yes it’s a bit frustrating that the programme wasn’t completed, but it may turn out to be a good thing. My understanding is we drilled Wishbone, Awkward and Survey. If we have good results from any of them, that could affect what the best thing to do next is. And, if we do decide to drill the two remaining targets, the drill pads are now set up so it’s an easy operation
The CEO is clueless
Awful raise, awful drilling programme, awful year
New CEO needed at Panther
Very disappointing after busting a gut to raise at the bottom of the market to then not complete the drilling plan. Credibility still on a knife edge Darren.
I am not sure the geologist going out proves anything. The question I would have is why hasn't the geologist been on site while they have been drilling.
Jury is out for me but I hope to be proved wrong, correction I need to be proved wrong.
I agreed with everything you say.
The share price was deliberately suppressed on Tuesday and Darren is giving nothing away today which is kind of difficult to sell to existing and prospective investors.
Earlier in the year, the company didn't handle the Wishbone assays very well and I guess they want a moment of reflection to analyse results and decide next steps.
Apart from saying they’re very pleased and that the reports from site are positive, he’s keeping cards pretty close to his chest. However, various things lead me to think we’ve got something. There’s the reference to the geologist flying out to look at the core (only worthwhile if it’s really worth looking at). There’s the reference to working out how they’re going to take Obonga forward from here (to me implies an expectation that it may well be possible to bring in a partner on the back of these drills if desired). There’s the fact that we haven’t been shown photos of the Wishbone core. I have a very good feeling

Fewer drill holes due to slow but very pleased with holes so far.
Other than that 3mins 40s of BS
Yes, I would expect the second Awkward drill to be deeper - as it should be given the clearly promising core from the first hole

Some basic maths suggests they've gone deep with the Awkward drill
Anyone noticed the trading patterns over the last week and the last two days.
Price was pushed upwards from 4.6 on virtually no volume.
SP should have reacted yesterday to those core photos and there was buyside volume but there are predictable sells between £1000 & £2000 blocks. Its not shorting and its not clear why someone would be offloading and at a very slow pace. Both the sizes & timings of the sells look designed to hold the share price at current levels, why?
Darren tweeted a story about copper shortages this afternoon. Yet we have no expressly copper-focussed projects. Is that chalcopyrite in the drill core, I wonder? Or at Wishbone? Hmm :-)
Some downhole geophysics may have helped but I don't think they have the capability at Obonga.
Let's hope they can glean enough information from 50mts.
With a bit more information from Darren this could be very exciting.
They're drilling an igneous (volcanic) intrusive (in effect a very large pipe) which is at or very near surface if they hit within a 50m drill. That has immediate commercial benefits, means lower grade are viable. Nickel is being mentioned although Lac Des Iles is famous for Palladium.
If this initial (shallow?) drill is promising (the guys have XRF & magnifying glasses) then they need to go all out with a 500-600m second drill.
Core is a good indicator... MH...
Bitcoin thinks we are onto something :))
Economical grades...over good lengths....
Agreed, and we won’t know what’s there until we get assays back. If anyone can tell the difference between pyrite (iron), chalcopyrite (copper) and pentlandite (nickel) just by looking at that shiny gold stuff it would be interesting to hear from them! But I’m guessing that’s not realistic and we have to wait and see.
One thing I would say is that this is the first ever drill into Awkward, we don’t necessarily need assays that blow the doors off. A more modest result but with clear potential might well get a deep-pocketed partner interested, especially when we know we have VMS at Wishbone as well
Yep looks good but who knows what it contains. If it turns out to be nothing commercial it could be cut up in to some nice paper weights ;-)
Fingers crossed we really need a win and Darren needs to regain his credibility.
