Could be a bad sign - or it could be just to stop PI's emailing the co at the moment
and be surprised off us mere pis see any value even if they manage to get value for the equipment. All guess work until we get it on black and white
Wasn't the Nomad (so angel) being paid in stock? Seem to recall them being issued with shares in lieu of fees. If so, I assume they will cease to act and that will be the end of the listing.
Yes, very strange... I was on it too yesterday, but today, nothing! As I understand it, there was no reply either from the phone in the office. Of course, probably shut down for Christmas/New Year now anyway, but wonder if/when we will hear anything else from Captain Shead... maybe never, and then in six months, it just delists? Sad times for all here.
Website has gone just like all our money
It was online last night.
Not available so presume its been taken down. Reckon that gives us an answer to whether this is going any further or not!
Can anyone access it? Seems to have dissapeared..
Certainly the most balanced and informed poster on this bb. If the panel don't publish their report then we may never know the villain of this piece. But the split decision makes me think that the panel is to blame. Certainly they are responsible for a judgement that seems to fly in the face of common sense. The return of invested capital was my worst case expectation here. Which would have been circa £100m
.....................but I feel that there may still yet be a twist in this tale and I do not believe that we will be left with zero pence. I think they will be looking at this as the judgement seems a tad contradictory.
Another thing my guy said to me, Was if there is millions it it, it will gon to those that know it, not you. With Afr the bondholders took it as the bods said that the seplat offer was not value for shareholders and the committee formed would come up with a better solution, or words to that effect, I cant remember exact. Seplat who had stake built in AFR had offered a deal that was never put to shareholders, only the formed commity rejected it, I could never understand that. I understood it even less when seplat counter replied with this is a good offer to all afr shareholders. Incidentally, it seemed like a share deal and debt covered as seplat started buying at 25p if I remember correct. Well whatever shareholders (that's pi's) would have got in shares from seplat, it would have been a hell of a lot more than the actual nothing they got when the committed imposed their wishes and its gone with all the assets to sell. So, as for knowing, the pi's of afr (gone) will not know what the assetts are sold for, or what million rewards the bods and bond holders will reap
Vlad actually answered a question I politely put to him recently. Q/ do you think its possible that the mine has been worked and etc etc.this after I read (and have pasted) after licence being endorsed to someone else in 2013 and the local court having liquidated oxs deal, funny old game No way he said, why? because its in arbitration. others commented on old pics as I think he did. What do you think? they would allow google to fly a helicopter over it? lol, allow the euro press into take pics lol?, Possibly they aint touched it, but its my guess they have stolen (legally according to the courts mega millions) and possibly shipped some to our guys.
ABOUT VLAD. Whilst he posts much factual article about Uzbekistan and karimov, voicing his concern about the man in prison. we all knew those details, or we did not research! But one so close to the ground with such knowledge of a corrupt , even murderous regime supported by the U.S.A (and possibly Europe) for the corridor (allegiance) at unknown mega millions even billions cost. He not only believes thatb conspiracy does not exist (his words) but he tried to discredit me when I think I hit the nail on the head when I copied and pasted factual documents that the results may possibly be known due to costs requested (how long ago that would be, who knows...poss 2014) Not only try to discredit me, but insult me, and anyone else come to that who didn't agree with him. Funny guy, I always thought!, a bit controllish psychotic too. So, His latest theory was, that unicitral arbitration had to go back to square one due to the YUKOS case, What a ;load a tosh. Each case in any court would always be dealt with under its own merits, that's why we have courts. Whilst powers can sway courts, (such as U.S.A and Europe) a bleedy other case cannot, PATHETIC view in mho. Somebody who knows it all, denies facts, then tries to tower above people with yukos theory absolute numbscull or part of /servant to, daughters life (maybe even the daughter) GLA
So it is very much game over yet the fat lady has not sung as yet however probably will very very soon, can't wait for the full story to get out. I think RS is dreaming if we could take this any further, I wish we could though.
He's probably on hols with vlad in Uzbekistan lol. Or laying beside Karimovs daughter under house arrest in California. Or spending supermans money on the next aim scam with a bod or two, through to 1000 lol
Outlook The directors remain confident that the Arbitral Tribunal will, in the very near future, rule in the Group's favour and that fair compensation will be awarded for both the AGF and Khandiza mining assets, which were blatantly misappropriated by the Republic of Uzbekistan. In this respect, the Board will continue to take whatever steps it deems necessary to ensure the return of value to the Company's long-suffering stakeholders . Always seems a message to me when they use stakeholders and not all "share holders" I saw that in AFR and it felt strange then, but look what happened, pi's got zilch big stake holders took the whole thing to carve up and nobody (pi's) will probably ever know what the big stakeholders will reap, and what the already cheating bods will have got or get in the future too. So back to the outlook. The VNF came true, don't forget they only said they remain confident, and they got compensated, not for both but enough for the boys (stakeholders) the rest will have made on cfd's, bungs and stops assured. R.s now states he is devastated. I state I bet he's made more money in the last few years that you and I could ever dream of. If you don't agree with that, I will guarantee, that he and the guy supposedly in squalid prison conditions will be having a lucrative 2016 as they probably have in previous years. How the hell can karimovs daughter purchase property through a shell company in U.S.A when Daddy has her under house arrest. What a load of politically sanctioned toffy.
Camkite?
So the answer finally came, just in time for Christmas but not the answer we wanted.
Loved all that as I have learned its so true. When I have spoke of my actual experiences of politicans / mafia / mafiots ( yes there is little difference and they all work and meet together) in an eastern European country I got ridiculed here by the likes of vlad and on other bb's too. When I mentioned so many times on the oilex bb, even the barcs bb back in the early days, that I have actually had acquaintance with a guy that was once an mm and now a broker. In short he first held back, in the end he said things like "that would be illegal (when I posed facts) but who knows what goes on behind closed doors" , "beware in aims as they are a minefield of disasters" , "They will use you when needed and dump on you when not" How could he say anything else without giving anything away? they are bound, they are a circle and in the end he spoke as a friend without giving anything away. When I posted these actual conversations and my actual experiences I got slated as if I was a deramper, a crazy conspiracy theorist, even a liar. Well if forex, libor, top managers and institutions got away with such embezzlement for many years and then used as scape goats, how many alongside them and more importantly, working with them and above them in that world got away with it and possibly still do? In this world it makes fortunes and produces great revenue and I guess a great opportunity for hidden wealth as the above once did. You cant win unless you learn to take 10%'s when lucky guessing or short with cfd. Great post guys and We need to wake up. gla
we are fools to buy solid shares (real shares) in this day and age, Yes I have just realised that and wish I had learned last year. WHY? You can actually pay for guaranteed stop loss. So imagine for example you actually own say 1 million shares at 3p or £30k invested, had we won and for this example it gone to say 21p you would have got £210k for your 30k. Now had you hedged (or had an inkling/knowledge) that we may lose and when, You could cfd / spread, short for say £1k a 1/10th of a penny with a stop guaranteed, at 5p should it spike on a win. The only way you could lose is if it hung at say 5p. In the example, had it hung at 5p, your 30k real shares would now be worth 50k but you would be down 20k on your cfd./ spread.short. Now imagine you had info on VNF, confidence etc and shorted at 4p /4.5p along with the knowledgeable crew whilst lemmings were buying, also played some of your 30k shares in. If it goes to zero you make a handsomely depending on your knowledge, also how many times you have played it prior, and how much you contract for a tenth of a penny. You can multiply my figures by whatever you like according to your financial position, your knowledge position, and volumes of trading over lengthy periods. This is the day and age we live in. Not just oxs, simply look across the boards at sp charts. Even those that have seemingly achieved are one tenth of their highs, some worse than that. Then their are the bods, always trusted, seldom deliver on promise yet always living the lifestyle. Take a look around and see how much money you and I could have made hade we gone short and applied the above rule on all the spiking seemingly successful companies. Remember many of the clever / sophisticated / info fed, doing this are in and out with 10 and 20%'s frequently. gla
Welcome to the wonderful world of Aim. Please follow the guidelines below on how your investments respond to the following : Good news : Your fcuked No news : Your fcuked Bad news : Your completely fcuked I hope that may have been of some assistance to you and here's to a prosperous and happy new year of investing. AIM The market that cares. The above is so, so true, Aim is like knocking your head against a wall. Nearly 7 years in Aim and it never improves or plays fair....get out with something imo and the regulators will have to address it's issues if investors revolt in their droves, or its last one out turn out the lights for Aim and perhaps best thing for it, to save more pi's from chucking away their hard earned in future.
I would agree with that, it's a market that consistently burns people with very little reward for a company of true value. I spoke to a customer who used to work as a broker and mentioned I had tried sharedealing. The laugh he gave off before saying 'they are professionals, they want to screw you out of your money' in relation to brokers and the market was enough for me to think that once I've made enough to exit (not even profit), I'm out of here. He said that The Wolf of Wall Street is very accurate (after 30 years in the Trade), particularly the scene where he starts his own firm and is swearing at the phone whilst pretending to help the punter
No one answering the phone today surprise surprise.
but I know many pi's invested in Aim and 90% of them are planning their exit strategy from Aim asap. Patience is rarely rewarded and company fundamentals, good news and strategic progress is very rarely reflected in an Aim company's SP's. Investors are returning to more traditional forms of investing...pooled investment funds and bricks and mortar, or even just leaving it on deposit, at least your cash is safe and will not depreciate, perhaps bar inflation effects. Aim is finished imo, if stringent regulation is not introduced quickly. Perhaps the Aim manipulators want to put themselves out of a job, takes all sorts I suppose. This Oxs outcome has left a very bad taste in shareholders mouths, let alone the potential losses looming if an appeal is also thrown out. I am still finding it difficult that next to nothing was awarded having taken so long and with all the confidence shown by the BOD. If you are about Vlad, there are many here that would like to hear your thoughts on what has happened and perhaps if there is a way forward for Oxs now. Cheers all Aim exit strategy underway........
If you are reading why have you decided not to post. I read more than I write and it won't be the same without you. You weren't one of those know it alls that I despise, so Good luck and I guess if we appeal (wont hold my breath, you'll be back. Two penneth. We always knew we could lose, but I'm sure some sort of deal was struck here. Many many equations and possible reasons for that. I support that with all the things I have read recently. Examples such as Uzbekistan being the corridor and payed for handsomely by the u.s.a, posiibly Europe are in on that two. We also read about karimovs daughter, shell companies and her property worth in the u.s.a (known about) How much do we not know about? or who else and elsewhere? Political pressure maybe, deal maybe. But calunius wont lose I'm sure, I doubt rab lost, and sure Darwin made. How many best friends, family etc loaded short on cfd taking it back in twos from high 4's? mega money for some, and so easy as they knew what to do and when.. Possibly zilch for us. Same old story with aims. GLA
