Always bear in mind the market can remain illogical for far longer than any investor can stay solvent! All the topper-uppers could've kept their powder dry which might've accelerated the decline so they could eventually buy cheaper! Before anyone attacks me, I know it's easier said than done!
Topped up and its down as sell
Had three little top ups myself today. A couple just under the £1,000 one above.
It kept going lower so I kept going to one of my other shares in my ISA and sold them down. I thought it cheap this time last week when we were making a tilt at 0.40 so buys at 0.328 are a steal
Come on ORR … time to turn and head north.
If it wasn’t Lanstead it would be something else. Could be worse at least we are above the .25 point. If drilling results are spectacular in Q3 / Q4 we could have almost a year of Lanstead selling above .5 that would be the equivalent of 2 years at the deal strike price. So here’s hoping!!!
Honestly, I think we are sitting on a gold mine literally. It’s exciting but it is hard work to sit and wait on the sidelines.
I keep saying to Kutzz he needs to get a new side project and distraction but he does have a new yacht getting delivered !! We hit decent drill results he might be buying one outright!! 😀
Its at times like this is when you wish the Lanstead deal did not exist, their selling can be easily absorbed in high or medium volume days but if you get a period or 5 or 6 sessions of low volume their 1m/2m daily sells hit the share price.
The 'keep topping up' thread line cannot be more appropriate than on days like today, I have a feeling the new leadership regime are finally focussed 100% on shareholder value whereas under TL/BS it was more like lip service, it is only a matter of time before a material re-rate occurs here.
DYOR etc
We have results that's double that figure no?
Exactly Catbert well said.
i recall watching a video some while ago with *****on hennigh discussing some of the parameters behind a sprott investment (hennigh has been an adviser on some of the worlds largest gold projects).
one of sprotts allegeded criteria was any project where grades were 100g/t. this wasn't his entire thesis on what consituted a good investment but it was a marker of something serious.
we certainly have this at mbe.

CoPilot always right :)
According to present data, Oriole Resources’ ORR shares have been in a bullish cycle over the last 12 months. While it’s challenging to predict exact future values, one analyst expects the share price to rise to 6.60 GBX in the next year from the current price of 0.36 GBX

I think you misunderstand me beardozer. I'm a LTH holder and I've been invested for years.
I'm a Marketing professional and what I understand very well is that awareness only comes from promotion. I'm not looking for a quick ramp from fomo investors. I'm looking to get Orr on the map and radar of other investors like myself. You don't have to be an AIM dweller to invest in AIM, you could be anyone. If no-one knows, no-one will come. It's as simple as that
Beardozer -we all know Oriole is being held back by low volume whilst we await:
Drill results in Q3
Update on Senegal and Mangem
Sustained and frequent positive news flow (Martin seems to get this and is well placed to elevate us from this point from what I can see so far with his contact, background and experience etc.).
I like the positive sentiment from Eileen and Martin buying shares in the last few weeks and Martin seems to be making intelligent in roads with appropriate platforms to get us on to the wider map with new investors in our shares and more JVs.
With the results we know so far it is encouraging for a very bright, and dare I say golden, future. Lots of news to come and that's why I keep topping up at what I believe to be low EPs. As you say do your own research and I'm confident in the next 6 months starting in Q3 (less than two weeks away).
So I'll keep topping up whilst I perceive the SP to be on the low / value side.
GLA
You're sounding a tad desperate! If you loaded up on ORR expecting the rise would continue you've come unstuck! I dunno what holds ORR back but something does. Forget copycat portfolios unless they still exist! It would be a sad indictment of the merits of ORR if they had to rely on anything other than DYOR. Of which there is evidence of very little! I get the feeling you can almost count the number of AIM investors on the fingers of several hundred hands. That's not a lot and might explain why AIM is struggling. Invest in what you believe will turn fractions of a penny into pounds regardless.

Oriole Resources are exactly the sort of company Eric Sprott in particular invests in. Early stage exploration for orogenic gold style mineralisation in new and under explored territory. An Investor of this stature on the share register would be transformational for Oriole.
Another example of explosive growth is, if Rick takes a stake is that there are thousands of people who have copycat portfolios who would automatically take a stake alongside..... think about it!!
Rick Rule is one of the most famous investment personalities in the world. If he ends up taking a stake and in any way publicises it as "the most significant" resource exploration in the world, you better hold on to your hats because an American market on this small company could be literally insane
Strange to see downward pressure on the SP ahead of AGM though
Sprott? Rick Rule?
The next 'Gold Rush' and Cameroon is taking shape!

I was hoping that the AGM would be on Interactive Investor as previous ones have but it seems not. Would like to go but work commitments stopping me.
If anyone does make it then any info from the meeting about how confident and positive they look would be appreciated.
Is anyone planning on going to the AGM next Monday. I am hoping to be there, got a couple of questions, I would like to ask?
I've not attended one of these in person should be interesting to see how it pans out, not that they cover a lot of things as its mostly formal actions.

I do not think the market can hold the current price in range much longer, with so much news due and buyers appearing on every drop the up trend/suppoert is established.
Once through the .40p's the next move could take the price into the .50p's the last intraday high was .57p remember.
£0.066 or 6.6 pence would be spectacular. I think there would be a fair few happy folks on here. Not least the Chair of the company, that SP would represent £11m on her current share holding. A great incentive to work towards. Honestly, a SP of 3.3p would see me very very happy!
Fingers crossed the next drill results coming are spectacular and drive a catalyst for FOMO it looks like the timing of drilling results could coincide with our 1st Lanstead birthday.
I hope you’re right Sean.
The same share price of 6.60 at low, medium and high!

That would be nice, and quite realistically possible given the fundamentals. £240m mcap is not a lot considering what we potentially have. Looking forward to lots of good news.
Share price forecast
The one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects Oriole Resources PLC share price to rise to 6.60 in the next year from the last price of 0.36

Can directors simply exercise their options, then slowly sell them on the open market to supplement their income/salary?
Is that a thing?
Director buying is positive here and the rules concerning being 'inside' are complicated, for example if they are waiting for drilling results directors can buy, if they have the drilling results and have not RNS'ed them then they cannot.
The same applies to potential new JV's, if they have spoken to XY & Z and there has been no firm commitment then they can buy, if they are aware, even verbally, one of XY or Z has stated they want to proceed with a JV then they cannot buy.
What I am suggesting is just because a Director makes a stock purchase does not necessarily mean news will not come in a set period of time.
I concur with others the weight of news here should propel the share price higher in due course, the last RNS took it through .40p for a period but the markets have been poor since however the price is holding up, bodes very well IMO.
Agree, not many AIM shares has this commitment from the exec team, bring on the FOMO times kerching, gonna be massive, in fact ORR inspring ....
Great to see the CEO & Chair put their own money into this. There are so many AIM shares where the founders / leaders just keep diluting and loading up with free shares. The horizon for this company looks spectacular given how much insiders own. I hope Tim L holds onto his shares and is also rewarded handsomely. Roll on the Bibimi drill results and if they are Epiq everything could go a bit bonkers as the herd comes and potential JV investors want to get involved.
As we head towards the end of the year I think FOMO could start reaching fever pitch!!
This company is still massively undervalued, sometimes it’s hard to be patient when thinking about the potential here. But fortune will favour the patient & the brave!!
All positive 👍

Lucky its only down 2%. according to this site 80 k sales v 25 k buys if you believe the figures.
SmallTackel, it's a strange one...
The open was positive, with a move into the 0.4s, albeit briefly.
The Ask has remained high, just a large spread.
I'd class the news as neutral and expected, rather than positive.
Which explains why we've not seen volume.
I'm hopeful we'll stay in the high 0.3s at close.
Maybe if they release some bad news maybe it'll go up?
Good news seems to bring it down or not move at all?
MMs?
That’s a lot of weird trades showing, I’m expecting an RNS in the morning.
Eileen last bought at .18p and after a lapse we hit .57p, another purchase at .33p, so we should expect a rally ..7p upwards, news came after the .18p purchase, so we could expect a rally and news shortly, doubt we will see .3xp again, in a few mobths 1p come on eileen ....
Last post: HawaiifiveO, 11 Jun 2024 09:27
Ridiculous price action this morning, no wonder the market makers are keeping the spread as wide as a barn door, looks like they want shares at a discount to sell higher up.
7000m drilling programme at Bibemi underway
5500m trenching programme at Mbe underway
Q4 - Maiden Drilling @ Mbe
Q4 - potential JORC resource ahead of mining license. Be nice to get a 1m oz
Not to mention any JV’s for lithium or other licenses that may happen.
It’s quite literally all happening for Oriole at the moment.
A;; good news
Those RNS's should give us another shove in the right direction today.
Hopefully a few more investors will notice ORR and the volume will grow again.
Some nice volume, that's what we'll need to keep this moving upwards.
Hopefully the buying is gathering momentum.

Disagree - Chair is a non-exec, we need a fully committed exec and having skin in the game aligns him/her to shareholders. IMO.
There was 5m within an hour or so of Eileen’s 6m, similar price and also showing as a sell on ADVFN.
The chair bought yesterday and seems to have reported yesterday. So technically one would expect the CEO to have bought at the same time if he was going to. It makes no sense to RNS on the same day. He could technically RNS to notify on Monday. I haven’t looked at the volumes to see if there were any other decent sized buys. If the CEO didn’t buy then, I suspect he won’t going forward in the near term. I believe the buy from the Chair was an acknowledgment to folks on this board and other platforms asking for evidence if an insider buy. Therefore, I think it is a great gesture and we should probably draw a line under this for the following reasons:
1. The Chair probably had a major role in putting the CEO in place.
2.The Chair probably still has lots of warrant and I suspect didn’t need to buy yesterday at market prices.
3. Many of us asked for an insider buy so we have got what we asked for. A buy from the most influential person in the company carries more clout than a CEO who has been in the role for 1 month.
4. So dwelling on this point of CEO buying probably only spreads negativity to other PIs wanting to buy here.
5. The Chair also bought before a monster 7000M if drill results head our way over the next few weeks.
Let’s celebrate that we have a Chair who is very aligned with shareholder interests. There are few AIM companies like this around and when the herd finally catches on these prices will be far behind!!
If he's going to put some in it would be sensible to do it when there's little news going on to keep the share up
"Could see .5p plus today."
Don't think so.
Think your on wrong board.

@islandgirl this is a junior explorer I wouldn’t focus on revenue streams short term.
Instead we have about 7000M of drill results impending on a very prospective licence.
The topco via a deal last year is well and truly funded until Sept 2025. If the SP rises further (which it should) it could be funded into 2026.
The business has just applied for a mining licence on the site with the 7000M of drilling.
Finally the chair of the company has invested about £230k of her own money into the firm. With £30k arriving yesterday.
This is despite probably still having options / warrants that could be exercised at a lower price!!
There are few companies that scream strong buy than this one.
Full ask paid....twice
The progress payments from BCM and the monthly payment from Lanstead. Possible deal on Wapouze. Possible JV on Lithium projects and or other tennements in our portfolio.
I'm new to this share.Any revenue streams likely in the near future

Come on Eileen!
She knows! Do as Eileen does.
My guess is that these are samples which form the sample for the QA/QC process- Quality assurance / Quality control.
One imagines that these will be processed by a different lab and used as a comparitive base to check the lab work performed on the other original samples. If two labs get similar results it is reasonable to assume the tests were performed accurately.
Just got round to reading the RNS properly.
What is interesting is that there are 27 remaining samples which are to be reported in Q3…
Why were these samples not processed and reported within this RNS??!
“ The remaining 27 samples (including QAQC) will be reported in Q3 2024 “
We’ll likely also get the Mbe Target A and Target B results at the same time. These are new targets. Could be transformational…

Its going to be biblical, all of these positive RNS's just de risk us even more. Its a great long term hold, let the chumps have their 5% here and there.
Unsure who is selling and can’t quite believe this has finished red after the last two RNS.
I understand it’s not the blockbuster RNS (yet) but this is foundational stuff which is highly indicative for drilling later in the year.
Ultimately the rainbow chases will get caught with their pants down and I hope they do
I still can’t quite believe the next 6 - 12 months here.
7000m of drilling results to come out in the next 1 - 6 months.
Mbe drilling starting in October / November.
Bibemi license approvals.
7000m could quite possibly double the MRE to 1m oz Gold. Which would not only equal $1m bonus for Oriole but would easily prove a share price of around 1.5p - 2p
All you have to do is sit in your hands or buy more
Probably end up red.
Preparing to apply for a mining licence for their Bibemi project, which already has a 375,000-ounce maiden resource.

You can pick up .5g/t off the ground in a pit sample.
I'm upgrading my kitty litter for sure.
No mention of widths just some samples, so not really enough to warrant a significant rise in SP. 500ppb equals 0.5g/t. (far from high grade). The 8,174 ppb sample is high (8.174g/t), but no width. The RNS is positive though, just a look/see exercise at this early stage. Dan
All very promising and does add to the confidence of a district play here. There is gold in them hills and quite a lot of it.
However, it takes a while for punters to understand how soil sampling adds to confidence. Early fieldwork rarely gains traction. Even before Covid when AIM was on the up, you really needed good DD results to get attraction. Now the AIM market is down across the board, it will probably take some serious news like JV or buyout to move companies. (Even GGP was on its knees at one point and many LTHers knew what was coming from fieldwork etc.)
I am surprised with these results it is not up more this morning.

Executive Director Exploration and Business Development, Claire Bay, said: "These latest results have provided further significant insight into the potential scale of the gold bearing system at Mbe, with the definition of three substantial targets for follow-up on the MB01 trend. MB01-S in particular is looking extremely robust, with consistently anomalous grades over a surface area of more than 0.75km2 and with a higher-grade core of over 500 ppb Au. It's also extremely encouraging to see that pit sampling has delivered grades of up to 260g/t Au outside of the previously-tested areas.
"The team has worked extremely hard to ensure that our programmes remain on schedule, and I'm pleased to report that follow-up trenching has already commenced over these three targets. This will help us to build our geological model and to guide a maiden drilling programme in the next field season. “
Brilliant RNS - well done team Oriole.
Great update and potential, kerching
At some point SP will kick on...bit of a coiled spring here
The M in Mbe must stand for Monster/Massive/monumental

$2bb in the grpund so far, much more to come, mcap is rediculous, obviously jorc, mining plan amd license etc.. new ceo should be investing soon. Maybe a big rns with multiple positive updates, he will want to wow investers amd the city I wpild have thought..
Well we did not get any update this week which is frustrating but I suppose we will just have to wait and suck it up!
Gold price is $2,354 today so looks solidly in its new price range. Or put another way there is already $882M of gold in Cameroon waiting to to be mined!
Evening Hendricks… I mean Hunniford.
Post bank hol update would be lovely or some pictures of drill cores with vast areas of mineralisation.
I wonder how many drill holes you can achieve in 2 months?
I’m not sure on the answer but there is 37 drill holes at bakassi zone 1.
Then 25 testing 2 other targets.
I’m amazed this isn’t getting more recognition. A fully funded junior with 7000m of assays to come out this year.
There is no guarantees on the results but it’s evident there is gold there, around 375,000 Oz.
Any thoughts on a cheeky little post Cameroon trip RNS to discuss soil samples, drill samples. Or realistically are we going to have to wait until the build up towards the AGM to digest some of this stuff. Only 24 working days until the end of Q2!
News could be fairly close at hand!
That’s the way we like it!!
We did have a bunch of ups for no reason too....
Lets hope for a better day today. No more drops for no reason!!

Beardozer, have you been on a Saturday afternoon sesh! I’m all for holding ORR shares but seriously caps, shirts and joggers! What about. ORR, BCM half and half scarves?!
Watched it a few times now, cant help thinking part of it was a "BMC" see ORR as a buyout target not just a jv partner
More results will show, but wtfdik, jist a big sell on BMC frpm our new ceo
And it's about time shareholders were offered ORR merchandise! If ORR employees get to wear the gear why don't we? A missed marketing opportunity. Come on Eileen, make your company clothing available to shareholders!
Excellent video apart from the insipid musical accompaniment! Couldn't they find a Cameroonian rock band to add some interest? On a more serious note, very pleased to see BCM training African women to operate mining machinery.
There are open and closed periods, probably by next week it will be closed as it is AGM month but WTFDIK
All the other senior team have equity that they paid for via their own money or salary sacrifice!
If MR buys the SP will probably go up 5 - 10 pips! so easily a return on money but we want him to see the long game through like all of us LTHs here!!
