Birdy doesn't exactly excite me from an investment prospective but does know how to pump a share, creating actual value appears allude him. Getting back on-topic this is now Reynolds baby and I've had many a profit from his businesses, NIPT and OPTi being my standout investments of late. Personally recommend putting past behind and concentrate on future there's nothing less appealing to new investors then those disgruntled who can't let go of past. There's potentially a bright future here if you give it a chance.
What i want to know is who pocketed the silverton cash....birdies other company sold it to orogen!!!! Well ****ed off and will take this further. I notice tom winnifrith has never spoke a bad word of birdies crap companys
with a 250 consol, the placing price of 1.5p is half the current price, 0.012p
Just realising they have been sold a pup Dear oh dear who paid 0.015 on the open?? No wonder they marked it up
A typical Colin Bird stock, a carbon copy of XTR with all the ramping taken to extremes CB on 9/1/17 "Results from the initial test drilling programme have shown that the gold mineralisation along the Silverton Fault continues at depth over a wide interval…” 14/12/16 "The ambitious final 2016 step-out drilling programme at Mutsk produced excellent results by significantly extending the gold deposit footprint … Overall, work during the current year has substantially enhanced our prospects for the Mutsk gold project." 29/11 Mutsk drilling this season has demonstrated that it is a deposit of size and remains open ended to the north, south and east. We are extremely encouraged by our results and we will develop and refine our model during the seasonally closed period…” 8/11 "This drill result is very satisfying and has vindicated our belief that the deposit is open to the south…” 18/10 “…the Company is strong in its mission to identify a portfolio of significant near-surface gold deposits in different global regions to spread risk and enhance shareholder value." 6/9 "This is a very pleasing result for the Company… " 31/8 “…the Mutsk property has significant potential to grow in strike length (N/S) and to the east." And so on ad infinitum
The list of companies that have done this on the AIM continues to grow. AIM companies are managed mostly by individuals whose only interest is in getting a paycheck for as long as possible. The failure rate, while at the same time the pay of executives of failing AIM companies continues to grow is disgusting.... and the regulators state they can not do anything about it. More like they don't want to get into this mess because it is so wide spread.
This has been a giant waste of time and our money. It means that they are admitting that the entire previous years were a con. They are changing a few actors for the the next show. Sorry but not interested in anymore re-runs.
This sp has always been odd. When we had our last placing at 0.015p, there was mass buying at 0.0249p on and around the same time. That has never been explained, nor have we ever seen a holdings RNS. You won't be able to fathom it, but it looks fishy doesn't it?
I get why people want to take a punt(cash shell with funds), just cannot understand why they are willing to pay a 100% premium??
I hope the FCA is still watching this. Another massive placing discount to what was the current sp could be a starting point for investigation. Mutsk conveniently shelved. Just like that. In my opinion.
There is no business, we'll soon to be, there is no hope, all money has now been lost
Nightmare Liam. They obviously have decided that the Mutsk asset isn't worth pursuing after all. The plan has totally changed and to suddenly become a cash she'll doesn't wash with me. The BOD, in my view, is out of its depth running any real business. One could in fact suggest that it's been nothing but a cash shell all along. Cheers for popping in to say hello anyway. Much appreciated. Hope you are doing ok. Best of luck with your other investments matey.
MVC changed its business strategy to going after gold, and bought the Deli Jovan gold prospect. MVC then changed it's name to ORE and completely focused on Deli for a few years until Mutsk was deemed more viable. Last three years or so the focus has been on Mutsk with a sideshow of Silverton. Now, we have no focus at all. Giant rip-off of people's money. Nothing more.
Complete disgrace mate !
You might want to see how this plays out... To re-iterate you will get no OO shares if you buy today. There is some time until the OO shares hit the market (April) and there is no lock in... So the only PIs that can buy in to the OO are those already with a horrendous loss... If I was in that boat I would dump the OO shares as soon as I could.
Thank you very for that. Because I was thinking like, if I have £1000 that I can live with if I loose it. I could buy and just let it her until I gian something
Thanks bud. Your comments are much appreciated. What a pile of old crapola this really is. I'm furious.
Cheers Stephen. This is surely criminal behaviour? Or high incompetence over a period of time. I didn't expect this. So much for Mutsk. The 61% discount placing is shocking. Why such a discount? Long-termers have been treated like garbage.
Sorry guys just checked... Ex-Entitlement Date 8.00 a.m. on 21 March Meaning that if you buy in today you ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for the Open Offer. Very poor work by the new BOD, that would have massively increased liquidity...
if you buy shares on the open market today you will be eligible to buy the OO shares. Have a look at the Ex Date, the is the date you must hold the shares to qualify for the OO. Most shares drop to the OO price after the Ex Date. So the simple question is...do you buy in now at a 50% premium to the OO in order to qualify... on the basis that your holding + the OO shares will better than the price when the OO shares hit the market... if you buy now and take all your )) share your average will be 0.008. This will then be consolidated.
BigBear2, I also read this: All of the shares will be issued at a huge discount of 61% compared to the closing price on Monday. Shares will be issued at 0.006 pence per share and neither the placing nor open offer are underwritten. Does that mean that only shareholders which will get that discounted price or is it everyone?
badly... Sad day here.. Some good people lost loads here over the years due to the useless bod.. Many great memories and friends here from when i first started out.. All the best if you are looking in !
Care and maintenance for the gold with view to selling, Name change to Orogen Plc They will just be a cash shell, basically you are buying in on promise of new mgt using that cash well,
In the RNS, they say, they will stop their mineral operations. What are they gona do now. The company name is Oregon Gold. What is next for them? Is this company just gona disappear like that?
Was it the same story with Medavinci before they changed to Orogen Gold? just can't remember now. Anyone stil remembers how the MVC ended?
