I wouldn't read too much into it.
Until something positive is RNSd, short term share price volatility is just noise.
Hope so? Due an update on Sweet?
What do all these buyers this morning know that we mortals do not!
Must be good news though....
Whilst Stephen, over recent years, has done his best to negotiate deals on selling sbtx shares to minimise the impact on sbtx sp - I'm not in this post passing comment on the actual selling of our investment - the recent movement in sbtx and in particular today says more about the management over there rather than opti realising periodically their investment
which of course the potential of same was known by all investors in sbtx (including me) at time of listing

Thx Mol
Thanks for that mol, I'd forgotten about that, well it was nearly 3 years ago! Another blind alley?
Anyone know if Opti were supposed to be working on a sleep supplement? (I'm sure I read it somewhere!).
Or is that PBX?
Martinu.
I think there needs to be a fundamental reappraisal of the health service towards preventive and healthy living - this would include a reappraisal of the tax system on foods and council fitness facilities being free or as cheap as possible. I just can't see it joined up thinking as cash now has the benefit in 10-20 years outside th short term political focus.
I do think the focus should be on the 30-50% who do keep fit, are concerned with what they consume and have the disposable income - and do not not need government subsidy to tell them what to do but do it anyway.
We should get Stephen Hammond back on board as he seemed to provide great strategic advice on this area, not.

Think this also came up on local SW news. Lack of availability of weight loss drugs for diabetics. Obvious opportunity for Opti. Article even says, drug popular as suppresses appetite. Also, these patients have associated blood pressure problems (PBX).
Here's the spanish website for slimexpert tropical for instance

Interesting extract from the THG RNS announcing they are to act as fulfilment agents for H&B's growing online business; seems H&B is not such a small concern as some would have you believe.
"Anthony Houghton, Chief Operating Officer, Holland & Barrett, commented:
"Holland & Barrett's goal is to be the trusted health and wellness partner for over 100 million people globally by 2026. We're growing as a business, with digital sales making a significant volume of our total sales. Our proposed three-year partnership with THG Ingenuity will mean we can continue to grow at pace with a partner who are industry experts in D2C fulfilment, while we invest in transforming our supply chain capabilities."
Thanks Aqua for bringing it all together.
Cheers Aquae tick up from me

AS, thanks for the reminder. I hadn't made the link.
It’s not sweet though.
No mention of expected revenue in the rns.
Nice to see the Leanbiome launch confirmed, you need to go back to the Commercial update RNS to see its initial value to the company ;
" A large initial order of £116k from a leading weight management and sports nutrition brand in the USA. We anticipate launch in late 2023 or Q1 2024. This is a major sports nutrition brand who are making a significant investment in LeanBiome® as a key differentiator in the protein market and, if successful on launch, will have a material impact on future revenues "
Martin, no wasn’t aware , thanks for that.
Farris, more on this on PBX threads on PBX own BB. (In case you weren't aware).
