It is hard for me to validate that bid price tbh Mike. During a bit of background research I did note that OEX themselves bid on the 55% interest back in Dec 16 though, so not sure how that was going to be financed - and maybe indicated to me that the value was not astronomical.
Always good to have your finger on the pulse of the wider macro trends and I must say gas is a good place to be at the moment. I cite this article as a prime example:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-energy-india-gas/global-oil-majors-see-surge-in-indian-demand-for-natural-gas-idUSKBN1WT1QI
Thunder, a bid of around $30 million would equate to our 45% being valued at around 0.55 per share. That wouldnāt take into account whether or not Oex received any of the monies owed from GSPC. If for example a successful sale was completed on that figure, we then have the hopeful upturn of any joint venture we might benefit from. There is definitely a case to hold on here for the time being, whether or not people want to wait then for drilling is another matter. I personally wouldnāt hang around for the drilling but I will see how things pan out.
I know you can't get "Yuri" out of your mind, but can you cast an eye over..............!
"Cancellation of Share Appreciation Rights ('SAR') Scheme, the Introduction of an Enterprise Management Incentive ('EMI') option scheme and the issue of an additional 90,000,000 EMI share options to executive management"
means no more 90m shares............. :) yes?
All the best (rude I know, but off now, maybe over the W/E :)
Chesh not chest. Still thinking about that girl ! Lol.
Chest. I did try to pull a nice Polish girl once. Does that count ?
It's always USD unless there's an A before the $.
Atb.
I took a small amount here today. Happy to hold until the sale completes. I would say this - I can't see it being a massive valuation else surely someone with the knowledge of the asset would have identified the value here and it wouldn't be trading so low. Despite this I do see more upside than not, as even recovering the costs owed to them in the event GSPC only selling their stake and potential to secure a carry with the buyer should add some value here.
Pull a pole Gord, you've got time............ ! :)
$5m -$50M with any option inbetween..........!
All the best (AUD $ or US.............? :()
some newbies to educate....... :)
Of course, longer term there is the big one. Will the drilling be commercially successful ?
Agreed Mike. Could see it creeping up a bit next week and then falling away again if there's another long wait. So much depends on the shape of the deal.
Is the bid $5m or $50m ? (I wish)
Is there any of the cash calls forthcoming ?
Will Oilex get any more of Cambay due to the first refusal clause. (Only if the bid is peanuts. Probably not good news ?)
Will there be a farm out to reduce costs and increase cash reserves ?
I am sure there may be others but that'll do for now. Gla. Atb.
Gordon, the day they Rnsād Closure of deadline for bids, we spiked over 0.24p then fell away after the profit taking. Same again today really people happy with 10% profit. But you have to assume that a lot of sellers are the ones who would have bought this week ranging from 0.16 to around 0.18. For the ones who have been involved/invested here for longer, I think the story is in the process of unwinding and if it turns out good this should easily get past 1p imo. I want at least 5 times here so am prepared to wait and resist the temptation to try and trade in and out. Letās hope itās at least a half decent bid. Gla.
Certainly, wouldn't criticise Callum for posting the ONGC story as it was a legitimate cause for concern. Surprised it hasn't gone to at least the mid 0.2's as we were almost at this level a week ago. Still that's one hurdle out of the way. Obviously, going to make a huge difference what the bid is. Interesting that they continue to emphasize that they have first refusal. Gla.
Exactly my point, itās still at 20 and most who have held a while would be expecting much more from that news. SL
I can vouch for Callum. Been here ages and very informed poster on this company.
No agenda from him, just realism; backed up by the market/SP not moving as high as some want it to. Huge resistance at 0.30. If it gets over that and holds...
Patience still needed here as ever.
Fair enough Callum, didnāt mean to offend in any way. I do think you posting the ONGC link this morning would have spooked a few into selling imo. The guy who spent 6 grand last night and sold first thing this morning for a Ā£ 250 loss springs to mind. On the other point if it takes 3 months it takes 3 months, but surely we are heading in the right direction, and letās be honest this is still a stupid price.
i posted the ONGC post cause it was factual , same with my last post.|Ive been here a long long time time just not posting much
I suspect some of the posters on this board work for those who received share at the .0015 option price and just as the share price dips down bellow that level bang an RNS is posted to push it up so they can keep selling in.
Just saying it an ok RNS , the one that matters is how much money or % of cambay we get
Gordon knows ive been here for ages
and I definitely want this share to go up but there a serious overhang on this share as it would be silly not to acknowledge it.
hopefully it works through
Hmm 2 posts in the last 30 days Callum, one this morning about ONCG pulling out, and now another subtle negative post.
Looks like you want this to go down.
Oilex understands that a preferred bidder has been identified by GSPC, which will be invited by GSPC to finalize negotiations before seeking applicable regulatory approvals in India
"seeking applicable regulatory approvals in India" another 3 months then!!!!
