I'm not doubting tech transfer can't be completed in 1 month. The real issue is the incompetance of the testing in place at the moment in terms of PCR capability for comparison. To believe this will get done in a couple of weeks with a test out by January is foolish thinking.
Personally I think it is avacta
"Mologic is currently evaluating a prototype in a number of healthcare settings and the results to date look promising. If this continues, then by the end of November, Omega would look to commence technical transfer of the test prior to commencing manufacturing"
What I find absurd are the people who are annoyed if it is AVCT. Either way, ODX is going to make a sht load of money. Be happy and put your pride to one side!
12-16 weeks if done very fast, not 6-8 weeks.
Yeah but that evidence is based on tech transfer without an actual test so of course it wont happen in a month. ODX have already achieved tech transfer in 1 month with the 2 antibody tests. Better to back those with a track record.
Tech transfer completed by Christmas, then 10000 LFT units produced for CE marking, which need to be tested against the PCR standard and finally getting the CE mark if they pass. Looking at end of Q1 methinks for a test to be on the market.
We have to CE after tech transfer. Only then can we sell.
But most evidence we see from BBI, Abington Health, Cytiva is that tech transfer takes much more time that one month
Sales in January,
In an ideal world Mologic TT in November, then to ODX and it takes 6-8 weeks avg, but ODX will do it in 4 weeks, hence the Xmas / New year timeframe.
This takes us into new year and Jan for commercial sales.
I just dont understand how a test that might be ready in December/January is huge news for the country in the next 4 weeks.
Yes he said he hoped it would be. great Christmas present for all.
November and December are going to be very good months for Omega.
Agreed MB, but I don't think he was suggesting that we will have antigen LFT sales in 4 weeks time. Let's be reasonable with our expectations.
He said tech transfer commence end of Nov to complete by xmas, as anyone that actually listened to the presentation will confirm.
True sjpw, but the facts are in order to get the CE marking to sell an LFT for professional use, the tech transfer has to be done BEFORE the batch of 10000 LFT units are produced. This is to verify the manufacturing process that will be used will pass as well as the actual LFT itself.
If Mologic are talking about commencing tech transfer at the end of November I highly doubt it is their LFT being spoken about
3 months? Doh.
Good luck all.
It's been a tough day pretty much everywhere but we're still alive and you have to have the bad days to appreciate the good.
This is a very strong buy imho.
Tech transfer from Mologic due end of November which is in four weeks, so yes sounds like us.
agreed, I just dont understand why the RNS wouldn't just say "Mologic" instead of "an antigen test". I am invested in both companies so obviously this would be beneficial for me! Either way, great presentation today. Enjoy your evenings.
You don't know it's Mologic - just assumption, not fact.
Could be either Mologic or Avacta.
Let's be honest to the people here, or expand on the facts (facts mind, not assumtions).
Mologic - Mologic will go live with the test and announce CE mark before we start tech transfer, obviously.
No - Mologic.
It definetely isn't the mologic one as they expect to commence tech transfer at the end of November if the prototype LFT goes as planned
Who is he talking about here? AVCT?
