In fact surescreen has clearly passed 3B validation, as that is a mandatory product requirement of the contract see page 51 of the surescreen contract here:-

“As of yet, no UK test has passed 3a for home use“
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/assessment-and-procurement-of-coronavirus-covid-19-tests/outcome-of-the-evaluation-of-rapid-diagnostic-assays-for-specific-sars-cov-2-antigens-lateral-flow-devices
Surescreen have passed all the validation that Innova and Orient Gene have achieved
Operation Moonshot - yep.
But as is stated by the government, this is not going on for much longer. Whilst Innova are being slated, quite rightly, there was not sufficient home grown domestic capacity at the time. That has been remedied.
The head of the UKRTC Molloy has stated in the FT on 8 june - re the future of LFTs that people need to take longer view.
So what every troll including your dear self is exploiting is the fact that it has not happened as of today. Well we know that.
Aside for this, the visitect test has achieved outstanding results and will soon be approved for self use in Europe and as you know visitect will also be approved for use in the US very soon.
As of yet, no UK test has passed 3a for home use.
porton down are revisiting certain evaluation matters - take that as you will, however tests which have been shown by FIND to be outstanding shouldn't be failing at Poton Down unless there is a failure to test in accordance with manufacturer guidance!! This is what has happened and you will soon learn of the same. Mologic know their test is outstanding. There is a reason they have made a fuss and you will see that soon enough.
As i was clear to point out - anyone who was fed up was invited to leave last week when the share price was 78p - but what happens is the weak hands wont sell when it goes up, as they get greedy at that point. Instead they choose to sell at the bottom.
Go figure.
I am long and have 100% confidence that in a matter of days, the landscape will be a lot clearer and as usual people will be kicking themselves for selling at the bottom oh and chasing the stock back up
“ODX are going for self test approval in the UK”
In a market place where the government is giving them away for nothing?
@wessley: What was actually said was “ability to supply tests produced within the UK remains a key priority for the DHSC“
It may look to by semantics, but in reality if you look at the DHSC/ODX contract is the difference between the pre-production phase we have completed already, and the full contract enactment to supply tests
Any contract that the government enters into allows it to walk away for convenience so what you are asserting is a truism. Nothing can be inferred from that whatsoever.
What is stated is that the DHSC Supplying *UK-produced* tests remains a key priority for them as per RNS of 8 June.
That is what is fact.
The trolls are doing nothing other than to attempt to spread doubt.
Go by what is stated in the RNS
ODX are going for self test approval in the UK - they will get it.
Recommended good answer sir
No idea why you'd think I'd enjoy the price falling, I've never expressed a hope for it, or a target price or ever advised people to sell (or indeed buy).
What i've said (for literally most of 2020), is that there are no orders, there are no sales announcements, not a single one, and that a lot of rose coloured hyerbole has not been based in fact i.e. that the FDA issue was going to be fatal for Innova, or that ODX was manufacturing month after month at full capacity (at this time ODX would have around 30M units in STOCK !), or that the workforce meant that obviously there was an NDA in play. NDA is always the one that people go to when they want to excuse something using a device that by definition can not confirmed or denied.
I was in fact the first person on here to suggest that the ever extended timeline made it looking increasingly likely that MHRA had failed to validate the Mologic test, and this has proved to be the case. I also said that if such evenutality, you are looking at many months for another test to be TTed.
And for those that say £50M to £374M is a cast iron contract from the gov, I'm the first to highlight that the contract allows uk gov to exit if the test is not validated by the 1st of April, and also the gov to exit WITHOUT GIVING ANY REASON, by simply paying a 'termination charge' an amount no greater than 50% of the first quarters charges. See page15 section13.3.1 which confirms the option to terminate "by convenience", and page 65 section 6 that details the termination charge of this document

Thus far, everything I have pointed to has been validated. However i have held out including now, on the belief that ODX would get a sizeable order from UK gov. But with Mologic failing validation, and with indepth reading of the contract, and with a covid landscape that is entirely different than it was in Feb, that contract is looking less secure.
Nice to be missed.
Got alot of green boxes today......must be bin day for the refuse collectors!!!
I’d have thought he would have enjoyed today
