Bedhead - It’s not me you need worry about I’m very confident with my holding here if it wasn’t obvious…
250+ staff…2m p/w capacity..
7 tests:
Government Contract (est 1m PW allocation)
VISITECT antigen(Mologic’s test)
AbC-19
VISITECT antibody
VISITECT CD4
Food Intolerance ELISA
Food Detective
FoodPrint
Just so all the touchy PI’s are aware ODX is not a one trick pony…
@tecbadger - understandable frustrations. The Tesla reference last night, I think, took it a little too far perhaps. but I think the sentiment behind why the tweets went out were meant with the best of intentions, to try and calm over zealous speculation.
Nothing has changed since Friday morning.
Re-confirmaiton of the UK Gov contract, with a few bits on useful info, 12 month contract, option to extend, can't use the loan kit without prior approval. I think the 18% margin element needs more information.
I can't, personally, see that the potential for Omega has changed in any way.
LFTs are still being talked about everywhere in the news.
News pending on CD4 and FI sales.
As you say, you've provided a lot of useful input over the months, and it would be a loss to the board if you left.
I'm sure you will make the right decision for you.
Hopefully an RNS on Monday to try and clear up a few of the speculations bouncing around.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
I agree. Although it may not possible to explain a complex contract to those who use phrases like “...doing are heads in”. Especially if Twitter is the preferred medium.
gkb47, I think so. All started last night because someone smoke some Wedding Cake! Best take the day off Omega, you are doing are heads in.
TON1C Agreed!!
Nothing changed here and TWEET clearly states FROM 2m capacity
gkb47, agree entirely.
as the adage goes "when you see the side of the whole stop digging"
best thing ODX can do Monday morning is sack the PR company, an embarrassment!!
Eazy as the new tweet states ...
“we will be supplying LFTs to the Ukgov FROM our 2 million per week capacity” Not all of the capacity we know that....that’s NOT BEEN STATED
As ODX tweeted last night , nothings changed ...contract the same....waiting on the test to manufacture & orders.
This contract is a small part not the be all & end all
We’ve got VISITECT TO PROFIT FROM.
EVERYONE STOP!!!!! MAKING MOUNTAINS OUT OF MOLE HILLS FFS CALM DOWN!
WILL ALL COME GOOD IN THE NEAR FUTURE ON ALL FRONTS , STOPPING ALL THE FALSE SPECULATION.
ODX ARE CONFIDENT THEY CAN MAKE ALL US LONG TERM INVESTORS HAPPY!!
JESUS THEYRE EVEN HELPING ALL THE SHORTERS & DAY TRADERS OUT.
JHolder I'll probably give my head a wobble over the weekend. People have invested seriously in this company and expect professional communication.
If I was a technical purchaser evaluating products and saw the tweets recently I would probably be put off.
From our 2m per week planned capacity.
From, a portion of, not all, is how I read it.
Omega have confirmed on a number of occasions that there is capacity for UK Gov, as well as their own tests, ABC-19, Visitect AG, CD4 etc..
The tweet has now been updated…thank god for that…

Yes they have amended it
Eazy - new updated tweet on capacity!
Easy apologies, this just goes to show the tweeting is adding more confusion to the mix. RNS on Monday to confirm state of play is required IMHO then we go forward from there. PR Shambles!!
WE ARE NOT PRODUCING 2M TESTS PER WEEK FOR THR GOVERNMENT…the Twitter account has worded this incorrectly..
Tecbadger: surely you wouldn’t sell at the last hurdle!
Very frustrating after last night but as the tweet says “nothing has changed@ just a bit longer to wait!
Rambo - I never said you were, I was talking about whoever is posting for ODX…Colin has already given indications as to what we’re producing and that indicates around 1m capacity from our 2m towards the government contract…unless he’s increasing our total capacity north of 2m I would stick with up to 1m PW for government contract..
One thing is for sure. The communication is doing my f*cking head in now. I've got sell orders in for now and will decide before 8am Monday whether they are being cancelled or not.
I've spent hours on this forum explaining the technicals of the product and the regulatory complexity and annoyed by the childishness of last night's tweets.
Easy this is what they state 'In February, we inked a contract to supply UK Government with 2m rapid Lateral Flow Tests a week'. I'm not hungover its in black and white.
I wouldn’t read into that ‘supplying 2m PW’ bit…I think someone’s a little hungover…
Doesn't this new tweet now imply 2m a week capacity is for govt contracts? ie our full capacity?
