There in Scottish papers and working with government, mix between POC and lab. I’m so
Interested to know where have the Elisa 46k worth of daily lab tests gone? Seems strange no update, wonder at some point if we will see a trading update?
Home testing finger prick tests cannot guarantee 100% accuracy...
...We have installed this week one of the 12 Quotient machines available and once we hit its 3,000 test per day capacity we intend installing a second machine from @QuotientHQ
No tests can guarantee 100% accuracy, including theirs and the Roche lab tests. 100% accuracy is a fallacy.
Open Orphan are pushing back on POC tests because they know that as soon as a 99% accurate home POC Test is available their machine test is immediately obsolete. Why would anybody bother with any other method?
Piper where do you think this sp can go to without going over the top ?
Elon yep I got to agree with you.. I would say £2 pushing on to £3. at least . I say some do get carried away sp price but if and when this does take of I hope I've under estimate it
Afternoon people.
£2-3 or so valuation! Have you factored in Mr Trump being a possible customer of the omega product with that prediction?
Happy either way.
Cheers. ( Supping Peroni in garden, both kids asleep. Heaven)
Getting to be the most over ramp share board on Lse,with these valuations; Told the Piper about another Covid related share @( 0.78)and He said ODX was the best Covid share ,Wrong!,sure he's happy sunning it up in Spain ;whilst some of you believe his every word xx gl all for this week,in going for AML XX
pumpky, whats it to you if some one doesnt agree on your share you invested in and why are you here, go back to your own share board you silly Cnnt
handsome1, easy £3 a share here, All depends on accuracy and we are the only government backed plus we have the uni of oxford helping us, If accurate and good enough then USA will be a massive buyer,
Pumpky is more of a Turnip than a Pumpkin to be fair.
Sounds thick as mince. Anybody who can’t see that a global market full of accurate POC tests will make machine tests all but obsolete, at best niche, isn’t playing with a full deck.
Agreed, Home tests will be the easiest way to do mass testing and in a small amount of time, also if people put them up on a app, its saves admin time too, there is no way we will be doing lab based tests if this POC test is as good as it needs to be.
This will be massive once up and running and the media will do the rest of the talking, I bet not alot of people still know anything about antibody tests or the fact ODX exists, that will soon change when BORIS talks about it and how he wants the uk tested
statement is misleading.
“Whilst both tests make no or very few false positive errors – they only very rarely wrongly state a non-COVID-19 sample as showing antibodies to COVID-19, both tests sometimes miss detecting COVID-19 in samples which are from infected patients.
“For the Roche test, 93 samples with COVID-19 were tested, of which 78 (84%) gave positive test results. Thus 16% were missed. For the Abbott test, 96 samples with COVID-19 were tested, of which 90 (94%) gave positive test results. Thus 6% were missed. Whilst these error rates, particularly for Abbott, may still be low enough for these tests to have a useful role, they fall short of being game-changers, and certainly cannot be described as 100% accurate. Other tests exist which have similar performance. The two tests were evaluated on different samples in different laboratories, so caution is needed in making direct comparisons.
Roche and Abbott not as accurate as claimed. Game on ODX
True and i totally agree
On the other hand it may be informative to some. I found out about avacta from someone in this chat few months ago, now i'm glad they did what they did
