@315... ..hold 2k now and targeting sp of £4.50 (which would still be EV of less than 10*EBIT...or p/e of 10... and modest multiple of tnw..c1.3)
from cashed out profits ..like the company..not that cheap...but ok on multiples ...and seems oversold

256k shares traded yesterday is a big spike in volume. However, their statement of no change in expectations and a fall in H1 YoY profit mean the opening price of 421p led to many sellers and a close of 403p. Looks like 400p is now resistance though but it's hard to see a bullish reason for the shares to rise, except for..................................
Thanks for the Analaysis Mick. I'm also looking at Northgate, but the recent RSI has only posted one higher low, and has yet to post a higher high. That would indicate a bullish divergence to the strong downtrend in place. Also there is no bottoming out pattern, e.g. double bottom or inverse head and shoulders. So at this time I'm still waiting. Good luck.
NTG, Northgate PLC NTG, Northgate PLC, chart looks like a recovery is going on following recentish upbeat fundies. Looks way oversold. http://content.screencast.com/users/marketsniper/folders/Default/media/e8320a32-a7e9-4843-a93a-6ae108d518da/ntg%201.jpg
NTG Northgate UPGRADE NTG Jefferies raises to buy from hold
What's going on here??£ The company s tradeing well with growth and good dvident - so what's wrong??? Do not understand
remember this share my best share ever those were the telephone no/s days until my loses took it back lol
This is such a well run company - had my doubts about its new chairman but I accept he's has pulled the company through the storm and it is seriously growing - undervalued - I remember when these shares were in excess of £12 before Mr Wareing ran for cover - do not think he would have had the balls for what they have been through. Biggest threat - takeover by one of the big car rental business who wil F the business up
out....divi increase :)
I'm surprised the SP has been so stagnant lately. Annual results due before the end of the month and renewed speculation regarding an acquisition by a competitor.
look at previous share reactions to results.... exactly the same. If you are a MM would you offer the possibility to potential buyers to sell at a high price? No, you will mark down...let whoever wants to sell ...to sell and then slowly with demand mark up....that is the nature of trading. ....
Why the large fall in SP after this RNS ??
interim management statement out
You can not but admire the current resilience of this stock. Breaking 600p is important and maintaining this level against profit taking the next couple of weeks would only IMO point to the 700p level. At that level and above NTG valuation would be in my eyes at least demanding. Well done to all those long on the stock.
If you do a check on the traded volume trade by trade over the past say 2 months you will soon find out that someone is buying in lots of two/three. Instead of saying say 20000 shares they buy two lots of 10000 probably from different MM. Same story today if you check. For sure someone is steadily offloading but also it should not passed unnoticed that someone else is steadily accumulating. Who will be the winner? IMO as the UK recovery is gaining momentum so will NTG share appreciate. It is IMO highly possible that someone might just have their eyes on the stock. We as I have mentioned before are not sellers although we are sitting an almost 110% profit. GL to all those silent BB members long on the stock.
Very resilient so far. IMO possibly something is brewing....
It's kind of an 'odd' share, closely hold among few 'hands' but there are people who accumulate the stock for sure. There have been active particularly after the June 2013 large day fall. I do not know if the plan is for a future offer but surely NTG is an exciting investment for us. Hope for the best for all of us long on the stock. GL.
been in hear since 16p before consolidasion had exit price of £5 but with over 30% rise in last 6 weeks I am keeping a close eye on it may have to give myself a new exit price lol good luck and well done for holding
Hi there! I do not really know how many are there on this board but for us long on the stock since mid 250s it has been a stellar rise. We have not sold nor reduced our considerable holding here and we do not plan to sell any time soon as the anticipated recovery in the UK market could bring further considerable rewards for NTG. Any individual views on price levels from here onward? Any suggestions/guesses?
Nice to see this returning to the heights!!
A bit of a jump in price today. Some large buys ahead of the interims.
Is it my imagination or I can see many considerably late reported transactions? Anyone there?
On the contrary...I would say. Nothing else for the moment! Hold tight!
