Just noticed JP sold down to 7.5% (holdings RNS 28/08/17)
so will NTBR fall back into bad old habit?
has been difficult for much of today
Order expires 25 Aug set to sell 5k@ 94p ... hldng 110k ... can't get a live quote for a sell
in hope of reverse flip
is a concern... ...how well NTBR identify, negotiate and integrate acquisitions will probably be major determinant of sp performance from now on
Part of it is being paid for by new ntbr shares on an inferred price of 82p ... overall price and payment structure timings conditions etc seem reasonable ... though they seem to have bought something that has recently declined in profitability?
growth ahoy!
Sold 5k @ 88.3p ... holding 110k
Sold 5k @ 86.2p ... holding 115k ... price holding up well so far
just one of the bear necessities, the simple bear necessities of life. Stonking yield and really has got its claws into turning round this grizzly. I love the way it has fished out some good contracts while divesting the bits of grizzle that were scaring investors. The company is most definitely out of the woods. You only have to look at the pandamonium today as investors scramble to get on board and sent the SP roaring ahead. i am like a bear with a sore head as I was too timid to average up last time but as I see this heading above £1 I won't be pawsing long again before buying in.
Sold 15k @ 82p ... holding 120k ... results out ... might have to read them properly soon! (11.3p mentioned)
rampage
trajectory (and net cash, perhaps a historic pe of 10-12 is too conservative ...tp £1.50 (historic pe 12-14)
Sold 5k @ 79p then 10k @ 79.4p ... holding 135k :-))
Highlights · Turnover from continuing operations of £45.6m (2016: £34.7m) · Profit before tax from continuing operations of £2.4m (2016: £1.8m) Basic earnings per share from continuing operations of 11.3p (2016: 7.9p) · Cash generated from operations grew to £4.5m (2016: £3.7m) · Net cash position at year end of £0.6m (2016: net bank debt of £2.5m) · Increase in proposed final dividend to 2.5p per share (2015: 2.0p) · Special dividend of 1.5p per share (2016: nil) Things are looking good for the bear, and a nice dividend on offer.
The last trading update indicated results would be ahead of expectations. I'm guessing these are due to be released fairly soon. Let's hope they are good enough to get sp to £1
Could be in anticipation of results? ... expecting underlying eps 10p - 12p range?? (hopefully!) ... agree worth £1+ in that case.
Any ideas as to why? Can't find any news released concerning contract wins etc. Or is this just a re-rating?
reducing yr monster holding... ...but the Mighty Bear "shd" trade c£1 if not above on multiples...imv
Sold 5k @ 75p ... holding 150k :-)
fingers crossed
says JP sold 1.4% on 21 June (prob circa 68p) and still holds just under 10% ... any chance of an insti wanting to buy him out? ... an insti is probably what we need to balance against insider power from a governance view?
so maybe the usual sell off will not happen this time
different..a few hefty buys
