i for one will be glad when these two stocks are joined as at the moment we have folk playing them off against each other and it cant properly rise/fall as its stuck or aligned with the other stock
you are absolutely correct that the offer by skin/dvrg in the initial rns was stated as 4.05p but that has to be confirmed by the publishing of a fixed offer which will then supersede the price quoted on the stock exchange. The firm offer cannot be issued until dvrg is up and running. It would follow that if dvrg still believe mwg shares are worth 4.05p the exchange of 10 mwg shares for one dvrg share would indicate that if the dvrg share is worth less than 40.5p at the time of the takeover mwg investors lose out, if its more we gain. Hardly a paper excercise . The takeover I guess will complete after the dvrg/skin agm which I think is scheduled for 25 September.
good luck
I thought the offer was 4pence a share.
However, I don't see the SP going higher because of the offer because it is a share for share deal. The real value is one share of SKIN and they could be £10 or 0.1 pence, it is still the same deal.
I'm not aware of a consolidation at MWG. I thought it just changed now that the SKIN consolidation has gone ahead from 1:1 to 1;10 shares.
Not that it makes any difference, it is a paper exercise I believe.
When does the takeover of MWG complete? I'm surprised no other company has come forward to bid for MWG.
Retrieby I asked the question during the meeting yesterday and GB said the consolidation took place today for mwg at 8am very clear, not a massive issue if an error was made but I would like to know if this is a processing error of GB just made an error and the consolidation takes place at a later date.
Yesterday was SKIN’s meeting not MWG’s. The votes and subsequent approvals were for SKIN not MWG.
wow new skins price is doing well we might actually get near the 4p (40p) for our shares
Retrieby, I disagree it was clearly stated at the video meeting the consolidation would take place this morning, the transfer however to the new company would take place when the offer documents we returned.
No the offer doc needs to be published and then a bite will take place. All being well MWG will be part of Deep Verge.
I was under the impression MWG was to consolidate today ?
Not happened so far
The offer price for MWG shares is 4.05p so the sp here should be higher.
One thing for sure is I’m expecting some good news on or before next Thursday. Next week should be a big one and I’m sure ahead of the takeover/merger both share prices will be a fair whack higher. An exciting end to the year looks nailed on.
It’s done u lot will be with us onwards and upwards
Not so much of a bloodbath as a cool refreshing shower, with excellent water quality, not one for spelling myself but I have a feeling bloodbath is one word Watergenius
Hey Watergenius,
You clearly have a much better insight into this than most, can you let me know why you see today's ,meeting as a bloodbath ?
It's just the opposite of apple's share split!I guess not totally necessary. However, you can't compare say rbs or saga in totally different sectors, time in the companys' histories etc.. with this consolidation.I wasn't sure if this was what i would have chosen to do but i guess i believe in the ceo and that he can see the synergies, cost savings and long term value creation.Hopefully he's right.I have chosen to give him a shot. Not offense to Gerrard (as maybe he's no Jeff Bezos) but i wish i had believed in certain ceos in the past as there are plenty of rubbish ones around on aim!The ceo can obviously make or break a company, even if the company has a great product.Personally i'd rather invest in a ceo in not in a great sector than an awful one in a great sector.I guess time will tell!
Watergenius you come across as a jealous and bitter ex.
Good interview this morning On Sky News regarding the testing of waste water being at the heart of looking at possible future viruses. I believe if this is handled efficiently and effectively, the SP should increase significantly.
well the skin meeting tommorrow hope it goes well should be really good for modern water we have the tech but buisness wise there awful
Any process which has water during its manufacturing process, cooling and heating process, or similar, and then exits this waste to the environment have to ensure that their plant does not contaminate, pollute, or cause damage to this environment https://t.co/pK1YhR91LY
In the next decade, digital water technologies will be the next big innovation. With an industry predicted to be over $2Bn in 2030

From my experience with my previous shares I could trade them the same day after consolidation. Maybe your shares have been suspended for some other reasons?
Post previous consolidations, my shares become non tradeable for a number of days. Perhaps it is a tactic to invoke short term SP stability by restricting trading ?
Muggins this has been responded to on the skin board.
