That is some turnaround CK; almost no.3 territory.
The Canadian Royalty Houses put a far more attractive forward valuation on Royalties.
Interesting! Thanks For The Insight !
CK, TRR would not be able to afford MTRs NSR’s. Any offers will or will have come from Canadian listed Royalty houses.
It Will Be Good To See What Valuation The Company Put On It ,And If Any Offers Have Been Recieved ! TRR ?
Fully agree Illaquens. Also it is precisely now in this budding stage that major royalty companies will be making offers to MTR for the 2% NSR as this is their very bread and butter. They won't be waiting until after major discoveries are made. Thus the present market value of the NSR is what someone is willing to pay for it. As I said earlier, I'm sure we'll see a sensitivity analysis on the NSR for future values soon enough.
CK, I disagree there are various formulae that are available that will assist in calculating the embedded value of the NSR. MTR will have assigned a value to it in the 2020 accounts based on the A4 MRE. It is really quite straightforward.
Agree illaquens ! Hard To Put A Value On It ! Until Royalties Start Rolling In !
Quip ! Forensics Not You’re Strong Point ! It Was A Positive ! Not A Negative !
It is perhaps the most important input variable for the NSR calculation!
Cashking, why ask such a dumb question, do you not understand the NSR Agreements, if copper price rises then the NSR value rises. It might be a good idea if you did some more research before posting otherwise you might inadvertently discourage new investors reading this board, which I am sure is not your intention.
Naturally CK, but even more importantly the 2% NSR value will be rising in tandem with the ongoing exploration by SFR. A4 MRE will increase by X amount and new targets drilled. SFR are drilling deep for the NPF south of A4 grid and I'm convinced there will be a whole blanket of copper to be monetised under the obvious shallow high grade MRE grid and extensions. That NSR is a real Copper Goose ready for laying.
Daisy ... I Suppose The NSR Is Just Gaining Value With Copper Rapidly Rising!
Agreed. Simple question of sitting tight and doing nothing or flexing our investments to increase shareholder value. Happy we are doing the later but with a shrewd approach, rather than the former.
Looking forward to next week/the coming weeks.
CK, you really are a no.22, and probably a no.7 too.
CK "Chipping Away At The Crown Jewels " might be your interpretation if MTR have sold any SFR stock. "Selling at a healthy profit" would be my interpretation . If MTR have sold a token 118k SFR shares, I would ask at what price did they buy and what price did they sell? MTR have a flexible trading arm designed to raise funds without the usual placings and dilution. The Crown Jewels, to use your cliché, is the 2% NSR over prime SFR KCB targets such as A4, A1, A27, T2, A13 etc. Those jewels are locked up safe and sound in a watertight legal agreement.

Chipping Away At The Crown Jewels !
Predictive spelling should read Quod erat demonstrandum!
DR, a very well put together piece of prose. Quad erat demonstrandum.
CK states: "Did You Realize They’ve Been Selling Sandfire Shares ?" If you mean MTR have been selling, then I've seen no proper evidence of that, but even if they had sold some so what? The Bod's purpose is to create value, and if selling SFR shares high and reinvesting low in undervalued plays, then that's fine with me. My only observation would be that in the the present rising copper price market that SFR should rise higher, so it would be a case of selling early. If they sold some it would be for very good reason. CK also asks "Results ! What Are You expecting ?" If you mean A4 results I'm optimistic adding up the intel available. If you mean MTR accounts I'm optimistic too as I see lead weight legacy investments purged from the portfolio and green shoot investments taking their place. Also moving the office out of London will undoubtedly save MTR up to £100k I would suggest. The NSR clearly underpins the value of MTR . It's just about how much value that will bring. I'm sure we'll see a sensitivity analysis on that soon enough. We know the base case. It's a copper bull market and MTR have plenty invested in prime copper assets. I remain optimisitic. You CK appear to run with hare and hounds, so your agenda remains unclear, unless it's just unhealthy attention seeking using obfuscation as your strategy. I've been researching MTR and copper demand closely for over 5 years and am happy with progress and keeping my investment with them long term. Meanwhile, the drills are surely spinning through thick layers of bornite at KIT-E, if that's not too forward a looking statement. Also I'm wondering if short positions on SFR are beginning to release their grip. Constructive posts always welcome.
Saying That It Would Be Nice To See ! LRGS Trades On The Buy Side Next Week To Contra !
Usually Part Of A Larger Order !
Ok. Those LRGS trades are not that large!
LRGS Trades Happening On Mtr s Book ! Not Sandfires !
Why should the LRGS trades on SFR have anything to do with MTR? Is this a guess on your part or do you have access to SFRs share register or MTRs investment book? We know that GS have been playing around with SFR!
