A nice climb this week, a fair way to go before out of the red but looking more positive.
Should have stated that the buys were Dec 2022.
I came across this on the director deals section on LSE. You've probably seen it already, but just in case.
Moonpig Group PLC - London-based online greeting card and gifting - Chief Executive Officer Nickyl Raithatha buys 100,000 shares and Chief Financial Officer Andy MacKinnon buys 50,000 shares, both at GBP1.14, worth GBP171,000 in total, on Wednesday last week.
Well, we've now touched 111 and the initial response was to reject that level. Anytime from now, it seems to be a speculative buy. Safer to wait for evidence that the bottom is in though.
You're a jinx :D
Added another £28k ish this morning. We’ve bottomed. Strong rise ahead
Good prediction Supmy
Looking at the chart now, I'm not that sure why I said 115/116. Looks more likely it'll get to 111/112
This will come back up, just needs time. I do wonder if there is market manipulation to get price low so some big client can buy loads up cheap. No reason I can see for MOON to be going lower again really.
Good to see the high-street fighting back. Interesting also, I always imagined we'd reach an equilibrium between online and high street retail. Moon has come off nicely, which is great. I could imagine it coming back to 115/116. I'll be looking to buy a few back around those levels
Great Trading Update from CARD today.
Sales for 11 months £432.6M up 30%
PBT Forecast raised to £48M
That will give CARD a P/E 8
MOON P/E is 20 !
Read the RNS.
It makes references to a downturn in the market for Online sales. Not CARD !
Reads like a dig at MOON.
I’ve sold MOON and bought more CARD.
Best Wishes
Nice bottoming pattern and rise this morning. I've bought a small amount and will try to trade around/accumulate some.
Added another 1,500 this morning
I can feel a big rise coming tomorrow. My gut always knows
Shorts increased yesterday !
If you want a stock priced about 50p look at CURY, they just fell, probably falling more too with the economy as it is. MOON wont get that low, at least I bloody hope not.
50p.
Not sure what you are doing on this board if you are waiting for that price to happen. Guessing you're not invested and never will be.
I may buy when they fall to 50p.
Adding/buying at every opportunity
Realistic not unrealistic. Auto correct is even having a go ar me.
£5 ridiculous, absolutely but £1.5 to £1.7 is very unrealistic.
Not sure what has driven the price so low. Some shorters, yes, but not enough to push this down further
Expect to see some upward trend shortly
Not if you went in at £5 it isnt!
" To think this was close to touching £5 just 18 months ago is worrying."
Not, at all....£5 was fantasy land ...106p is the land of reality ...reality is the better place to be
Thought thus had bottomed at £1.20, again at £1.15 and again at £1.10.
Bought in at all three thinking this must rebound soon.
Now the bottom seems to be £1.05.
Hopefully it is.
To think this was close to touching £5 just 18 months ago is worrying.
GLA.
This has done nothing but plummet since it was listed a year ago, fortunes will surely change soon. Must've bottomed out by now.
