Moonpig Group's trading remains resilient and we are confident that full year revenue will be approximately double the level achieved three years ago.
I’ll take that. Covid was an exceptional period with lockdowns etc but the new customers during that time still remain.
Looks like the shorter got it wrong. :)
Why is this tanking
That I don't know. But it's tanking on not much volume. You've got the sell-on-news bunch. Plus ii shenanigan's - at a guess. Looks like it's bottoming, anyhoo.
Bought in another £25k. Onwards and upwards
Another short gone in.
I'm guessing they're betting against results - which will be in the depths of a recession? They don't seem to be hammering it for a cheaper entry.
Best of luck. I've bailed. I prefer it when shorts reduce!
£1 million of large sells around 11:20 might suggest they are hammering it for a cheaper entry. Stress *Might*.
See if it slows down around £1.70.
Citi just reiterates buy rating at 370p, so more than 2x the current level
Yeah, I saw that. I suspect it's all been orchestrated to coincide with the budget-not-budget disaster.
We'll see, if they close their shorts.
If it is a hit-job they'll likely be large buys into the close.
Here come the buys. Interestingly @ 181.
I doubt this is over yet, but if it is order filling - it's a very good thing (unless you got mugged).
BIG Monday bounce coming
Yeah, I thought so too, Gapped down instead.
I'm trying to time a buy in. Does a decreased value of the pound effect this? I wouldn't have thought they imported much?
The whole market is gone. I’ve been conservative my entire adult life, but they’ve run out of quality political stock and now the country is paying the price.
I voted for them up until "we're going to cut ourselves off from trading with 500 million EU, to increase trade".
They got everything they wanted: out of EU, hard-right government, massive majority - they've nowhere to hide - their polices don't work .We need a regulated market, a bigger market - and friends - like we had before the nutters took over.
Why MOON is suffering g the most is beyond me
I don't understand it either. I was hoping someone on here would know. Those shorts are still open.
How can Liontrust purchase an extra 5% yet the share price drops?
Nothing makes sense, just hold and wait
They're probably dropping the price to fill orders. I still haven't bought back in. Waiting for an enormous buy to show up on the chart. Not advice, I might be spectacularly wrong.
200p will be seen next week
£2 next week might be a tad optimistic. Maybe £2 in the next 2-3 weeks.
The shorters do seem to have stopped forcing MOON sp down. So hopefully huge orders being filled. Fingers-crossed.
If this doesn't bounce massively today, the world is more mental than I thought
£1.44! Wow. WTF. Sorry, that's my contribution.
Actually, in the vein of blind-optimism: "after bad news: wait 3 days and then buy some (shares)" - is today.
Unless our moronic government find a new and exciting way to massively f*** up again.
