He won't thank the IC article then as he can no longer buy under the radar unless he takes some off market from someone like Hendersons Up to 8.90% currently
large stake to facilitate a buyout from private equity. They are buying cash at a significant discount plus picking up assets for free. Watch out for Richard Griffiths. Serial investor in Start ups and ex evolution. He is going to create a reverse takeover scenario Cash shell Buyout price will be around 16p This is a buy and hold until the takeover happens - easy 100% from here. Back drawer.
Yes I just got quoted 7.95p for 100k shares. I will hold of for now and see if it goes lower. At least I have my foot in the door so its win win. If it goes up I profit and if it falls back I can add to my position. The IC Bargain Portfolio is followed by hundreds of thousands of investors and it only went live this morning. All the recommendations in it will now be updated in regular future editions. So this and the other companies mentioned will now be in the spotlight for the rest of the year.
can buy below 8 now...
The thing is though , that any share price rise might trigger a bid before it becomes too expensive for them!! I recon that with cash and assets any bid would have to be North of 15p
You are right though it has dropped back a fraction. I wanted more this morning but will now wait and see if there is a retrace. The MM's will have marked it up so not all the rise today will be real. However as long as they have buyers they will keep it as high as they can. I would buy a lot lot more at 7.5p but depending on how it pans out over the next few trading sessions I would consider more at anything sub 8p
These things take on a life of their own they can drop back a bit but also a new surge of buyers can come in and as cash on the books is worth 12.3p I think its a safe bet up to 12p at the very least. I can see it moving up to 11p or 12p and sitting there until perhaps a bid comes in. I cant see it dropping much after this morning as the spike is based on hard fact and not the usual BB nonsense. It could settle back to 8p but anything below that and I would be buying more so support will kick in. GL.
He (ST) has several in his 2017 Bargain Portfolio and another I like very strongly is Crossrider (CROS) And this one of course.
for the great info guys, Im in now before it really gets noticed then.
thanks... already dropped to 8.25 ask... may risk it dropping below 8 befire I buy... so probably wont ;)
Well this mornings rise is due to the IC online publishing the Bargain Portfolio after hours last night so investors had their trades all set up for this morning. Also the published magazine will be hitting the streets this morning and usually there is a secondary surge on Mon following due to people having more time over the weekend to digest the info.
thanks for that - appreciate it... not sure I want to be "spiked" just yet though so will watch and see if it falls back a little before next leg. I saw it ages ago at 20p and forgot about it - at 4p was a bargain! :(
That seems sensible and given the fact that Hendersons hold 23.90% I think it's quite probable as this is the mo
They say that now it is down to a skeleton crew and that 2 instis hold over 50% of the company they dont think its going to be around much longer as it will be bought, the large holders will push it towards a sale
This is their closing statement re MMC I wont post m ore as its behind a paywall but think this should be ok. "Bearing this in mind, with the company capitalized at just £33m, over 80 per cent of the fixed assets worth £53.5m are in the price for free, albeit these include £47m of intangible assets. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if predators started sniffing around given the value on offer here. Buy." (IC)
They think its a very strong takeover target now that its slimmed down and has lots of cash.
They dont need to they point out all the facts and they speak for themselves. For example it has 12.3p of hard cash on the books thats TWICE this mornings opening shareprice!! And theres more.
I see... did they give target price? Update in March I see...
Tipped by Simon Thompson of the IC as one of his bargain portfolio stocks for 2017. He says it has cash alone worth twice the current shareprice and everything else is in for free.
interesting bounce...
Is finally bouncing back after that hefty drop. I hope it continues.
To be honest they have sold the profitable piece off, paid out seventy five million in a special Divi now only the management advisory piece left, and it's unprofitable at the moment. So in my opinion, a wait and see approach would be the best move. I am already in at twenty one so I need a little bit more to escape. GLA.
Does anyone know what's going on here explain please will really appreciate any information And really tempted to invest here but I am not seem to be able to get it around my head
Thanks for the condescending post- no really! 4% profit - small but I'm happy. Maybe you aren't as smart as you think.
Could someone please explain that RNS I don't quite understand IT
