Hi guys, bought in today after taking a closer look from reading the Investors Chronicle. Hope there's good things to come!
Very quiet today. I notice that ST has updated his recommendation and points out that takeover here is very likely. Most of the intangibles are in the price for free right now. This could be taken out any day now I hope. GL.
going through this morning and in round numbers (the Institutional way :)
This may have been highlighted before but here goes - All opinions DYOR The Takeover Panel: When a person or group acquires interests in shares carrying 30% or more of the voting rights of a company, they must make a cash offer to all other shareholders at the highest price paid in the 12 months before the offer was announced (30% of the voting rights of a company is treated by the Code as the level at which effective control is obtained). Henderson seem to have got close to the 30% (using CFD's plus shares) level before selling down a sizeable amount that equates very similarly to the size of the Griffith new stake. Since then both have been steadily increasing their holdings. Don't know about anyone else but it looks like the Richard Griffiths with the help of Henderson is on the verge of a takeover attempt. As of the 23 January they were at 27.65%. Volume spiked on Friday last on the open - Investor Chronicle tip I would suggest that Griffiths and Henderson will be working very hard on getting the rest of their stake this week and making an offer in the very near future. 16p is my target based on the accounts and the intangibles. The value of the intangibles were questioned based on the downturn in the Natural Resources market. However the past 6 months has seen a marked improvement in the sector and I expect this to be fully reflected in the accounts in March - hence the desire to get a takeover completed ASAP Good Luck tomorrow morning. This stock is very tightly held so could jump very fast
It takes all sorts to make a market, he must have lost a fair bit in the spread. I never got my top up I waited too long. It should move on up from here once the articles from the IC sink in over the weekend. GL.
Bought in this morning and sold out at a fractional loss this afternoon
why?
with a 50,000 DMA order on the bid at 7.75p - bodes well for next week
looks like another big buy to be reported. Gap up again on Monday morning Have a good weekend
Check out the three trades around 11.30 Some serious buying going on there. I would suggest Griffiths may have added another few
Market makers happy to take them back
was lucky that the market is paying over bid currently at 7.8p Bought in this morning 74,984 7.95p and sold out hours later at 7.8p
Its heading back up ,think I missed the top up opp
Big buys just gone through!! Herd arriving? By the way for those that may suggest if it is worth 15p why doesn't the share price reflect it? - consider this If you have been stake building in the background you will be incentivising the Market Makers to get you stock as cheap as possible. They wont like this rise today :)
Mcsquares - thank you, much appreciated:-)
volume history 1st September 2016 to present http://shareprices.com/detail?tidm=MMC&chart_time_period=2_day&movingaveragetype=&chart_comparison_tickers=&startday=01&startmonth=09&startyear=2016&endday=03&endmonth=02&endyear=2017&frequency=daily#history
started buying on the holdings RNS. I expect that the timescale has shortened significantly following the IC article. Share price is significantly undervalued and any rise is therefore underpinned by the cash on the balance sheet. If the SP falls back it will be due to a few bits and pieces of profit taking.Market Makers will be tasked to buy on behalf of the background stake builders, however if they cant pick up the stock they will have to raise the price to draw out sellers. If the herd arrive here in the afternoon, the price will be driven up very fast - remember the freefloat is small given the institutional interest. With the guts of 13p cash in the bank that is a mcap of nearly 70million and thats without taking into consideration the c£50m in non cash assets If the "herd" have the ability to decipher a balance sheet and understand the mechanics of what is happening here then this could be 12p by 4.30 today
Do you currently have a holding here? Any thoughts on timescales?
correct beamer. I would suggest that the Fund Managers over in Henderson know what the company is worth. Its a cash shell with few overheads. Buying £1 for 55p plus intangible assets for free
