Excellent news for the company and coming at just the right time. Clearly the start of a global rollout for this excellent tech over time. Germany, US, ROW. Huge opportunity here.
I also liked this part in the RNS....... 'Mkango is also developing a further pilot plant at Tyseley for long loop recycling via a chemical process, which complements the HyProMag short loop recycling process and will also be commissioned in the coming weeks. Material for chemical processing, including swarf (the powder produced from grinding and finishing magnets), will either be processed in-house by Mkango, or in partnership with third parties.'
Major milestone for Hypromag, this is big news. LW, I agree with you, this is bigger than songwe . The potential is huge and as it’s an MSP supported project should attract huge coverage. A great hold for rollout over the medium term. As it’s the first production of sintered magnets within the UK for 20yrs shall attract significant publicity

Excellent news!!! and so it starts! Hypromag working!! Agree, the recycling tech will bring in multiple £Millions in revenue at the scales we're talking about!!
Great news….
More significant than Songwe in my opinion.
Up to 1000 tpa now potential, that's 58mill at today's prices.
A diamond in the rough this one.
Indeed. If the news does come it will be crazy couple of weeks. Still not decided my strategy.
Not many days left for ALOT of news...
As Mkango themselves have said....the stars are aligning...sure we can't totally trust in Malawian politics however even the negative voices over there have said get those MDAs signed...so tick tock many possible exciting newsflows could be imminent
Absolutely excellent everyone... this is set to have a over £200M market cap sooner than later! It's coming to a cruch now where the EU is well positioned as are MKango to fill this widening gap! On-top of that we have the U.S showing great interest!

Low vol but paid 16p a share. Blue Monday as new order once said
Yes, and Cotec up significantly as well.
But then , both on tiny volume.
Nevertheless, very interesting.......
Where is the news??
Leaky leaky?
I've had few more at 11s - not like me to be averaging-up really but I'm feeling it innit.
Correction - After "HER", not "HIS"
Pressure was always heavily now on Mining minister after his public statement, and this should be reflected by her and her team to make pushing this through a priority now and to keep to deadline as to keep the credibility of office and show that they mean what they say, encouraging outside business into the Country.
Remember the headline stated "Mkango 'ASSURED' of MDA by 2023 end"
https://www.nyasatimes.com/mkango-assured-of-mda-by-2023-end/
I mentioned this to some folks on FinTwit yesterday - they may have pushed it a bit :)
Canada up 11% on a few trades last night, not seen too many trades on that exchange for a while.
Suspect a blue end to the week ahead of news next week. Just a hunch :-)
Hi thevid, excellent read, some interesting facts. I believe an ace card in the pack will be the magnet recycling, a very specialised area with not many players.

Possibly Russian buyer clearing out since War began MR OLEG SOLOSHCHANSKIY IMO, who held 5.55% on the 24th Sep 2020. Also based there I believe. Would've been 7.4M shares at the time before dilution.
I reckon he had to trigger sale due to Russia/Ukraine conflict. No Holdings RNS reduction since then... but I don't think he's worried about declaration and tbh sweet fa can be done about it!
Worth a read.
