Game over then?
Also all headlines say who will take over from administrators.
It's like waiting for the arrival of a new born baby !
Surely 'Morrisons' and their parent company wouldn't be so short sighted for the sake of £ XYZ million !
Please share this other cases like this where PI didn’t get shafted.
maybe they're in talks to divvy it up so that Morrisons get some stores and issa get others. if it's a stitch up I won't be very impressed with any of 'em. im not sure to believe mr kleinman following his other tweet on Friday, but if Morrisons is a sole victor that seems to bode well.
Revealed: I'm told that Morrisons has won the battle to seize control of McColl's Retail Group, one of Britain's biggest convenience store chains, following a weekend shootout against EG Group, the petrol retailing behemoth part-owned by the billionaire Issa brothers. More soon.
If Morrisons has sealed the deal, theadministration process should be halted and we should be back trading again unless the BOD back a recommended cash offer from Morrisons as it is a solvent bid.

And lose a vast amount of customers in the process! For the sake of ?p a share x 280 million shares.
Karma has a way of catching up with such people sooner or later!

The old 'pre-pack deal' again, is that the one where they pre decide to go into administration to get rid of PI's and then squabble over the spoils?
McColl's Retail administrators to decide between bids from Morrisons and Asda owners:
The chain is expected to be snapped up in a 'pre-pack deal' that may allow new owners to ditch some liabilities.
Friday - yesterday the share price was stated as suspended at 1.675
Today it reads: It was suspended at a price of 1.661

I agree, nothing coming our way now. We would have known at 07.00 if that was the case. The next RNS will be mid morning to confirm admin, followed later by a deal RNS. All of which means we are screwed, forget about it now, I will be.

And it would have played out this way because us PI's wouldn't of had to approve the sale and fight over the price.
The whole thing is very very STINKY indeed !
This is how I see things happening when it comes to McColl's.
This morning the courts will formally put McColl's in to administration then with in an hour either EG Group or Morrisons will buy McColl's from the administrators.

Read my comment again, I said REALISTIC !!
I’m not confident that either will do the right thing by us unless they have to so I’m realistic rather than optimistic this morning.
Some of us rolled the dice and lost. It’s doesn’t help with the weekend news that Morrison’s could put a stop to court proceedings today with their bid. Accepted, that these are unusual circumstances to other suspended shares but it would go against the grain of shafting SH. It does feel like we have been set up like a pair of kippers.
Stop wasting your time and clutching at straws here, the only good outcome here is that the jobs / pensions are kept that is the only talking point, Shareholders get nothing - shares are gone....face reality....Optimistic (deluded) Let it go, let it go,
I would prefer it to be ‘Morrisons’ but only because the brothers (EG Group) were ultimately forced into doing the right thing by the pension pot! ‘Morrisons’ had already offered to do this last week.

Jed you do fire from the hip every so oftern.
Factually you are wrong on Admin deed is still to be signed as others have said.
Outcome wise you are probably right nothing fir SH.
These distinctions are important to those that have been on here a long time
And no I'm not cluching at straws just fascinated by how this will play out.
Not coming to terms with anything clampit pal. Until seal of approval has been done with admin.
