Disappointed too. Can't help but recall the recent RNS stuffing GPs mouth with gold in the event of a takeover being accomplished...and his comments about his views on shareholders. Feels a bit like this has been a vehicle for a few to get very rich quick whilst throwing investors a few crumbs.

Yes and the day we own sandstorm shares everyone will run for the door you won't be able to sell and your 1.09 value will be down to 0.80 in a day. I must say I'm not voting for this
Can anyone provide any insight? Cordially Lionel
I am hugely disappointed at this giveaway price. Am I correct that we're also "losing" Ergama and Cote d'Ivoire? As for taking a stake in Sandstorm, I'm not thrilled with their SP over the past 3 years or so ... http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=SAND&insttype=Stock&freq=2&show=&time=10 Looking forward to ludeck's take on all this... Cordially Lionel
Well seems to be a done deal and Mirabeau sums it up perfectly for me. Now do I sell out or hold Sandstorm shares. If you are still watching 5 pennies well done! You bought Sandstorm if I recall.
They recommend offer shareholders will have to vote I believe
Now it's clear why MARL never mentioned the AISC in the PEA and only told Sandstorm, so others weren't fighting over us. Now they do today though 'all-in sustaining costs of less than US$400'
Yes but what is to stop the BoD selling to Sandstorm anyway. Could they be stopped?
Another positive is we will all be sandstorm shareholders and therefore still be invested in HM as they grow it . I think good chance that others will come in with better offers to acquire HM
D220 agreed it's a done deal especially with all the major holders agreeing to it. Personally I will take 1.10 not the best price but I can get the funk out of aim with a very nice nest egg.
How much are the MARL BODs personal pay-offs for getting this through?
Thar would be something , we wlll have to see how this plays out in the market over the next week or so. :)
it is what it is and the asset is in Turkey - HIGH RISK. take the money and enjoy it
on the current bid
Reads to me like a done deal with GP and ER agreeing..... Had hoped for better but a bird in the hand.....
It will jump big time which is great. What I'm not happy about is the board are recommending this seriously low ball offer.
For what we will own at HM after next resource update . Only good thing is it may bring other buyers out of the woodwork in the next few days
Great News Guys! What do you think what will be the opening price today? thanks
Very nice short term gain for us shareholders(holding 169,116 Shares), but in no way does that value us for the potential of the super high grade HM deposit, a once in a decade find!
complete steal for even HM, but this is what can happen with a suppressed share price . Fulmar will not be happy !
Thanks Eyeguy, Great news! Well done to all holders!
Well... I guess it should open around 110p...
how will this news affect the sp today?
It was AET that said a takeover soon.
