Ok Chris - just get on with it...lol!!
my 0.25%will also vote against.so 2 of us have half of one pc so 70 pi's could outweigh the board and Sand.Together with Sprott ==who knows..Thats not even decent jazz GLA
I never liked the Spice Girls either...lol!!
Have taken my profit unsentimentally. An hour or so's work for 80% of my monthly salary. Wish I'd discovered this years ago and didn't wait to 51 to give up "work"!
Yes I tried a huge dummy sell to see how keen they were, and got an offer. Not really surprising - the upside from here is obvious, even if capped...
I believe this lot were the Spice Girls of their day...
98p
Take all of one of my positions for £110,000 in one go
Ludeck, PaulUS - you both logged in for the conference call...?? Not feeling the jazz as much as you guys...haha! Wait, new tune... :)
I own 0.16 of the company and the deal won't be getting my vote (they must be quaking in their boots !!!)
Presumably Sprott are not keen. Glen will have wanted to get the confirmed yes % as high as possible before putting this to the PIs. Their absence speaks volumes to me...
Bouncing, now 371
Cool bit of Jazz
I bought these back in the days gl everyone I'm in pip which will be huge soon and no placings take a look.
I'll take a pound. Says they reckon marl is worth 109p? Would prefer £1.09. Not amazing but still money.
Loving the hold music...
@ Lionel - they already have around c.16% of share holder approval...I've no idea how the voting rights for the outstanding warrants etc works... Interestingly, we've not heard anything from Sprott - a penny for their thoughts!
Offering over mid to sell atm
whoops, thanks Skibba. That takes the confirmed supporters to 15.9%... Cordially Lionel
you're right Skibba, :-) .. I'm thinking about what happened at SOLG ( still holding there ) but their frst big offer was a joke and quickly put to bed, I'm a small time investor but thought i'd just use the money from here to see if i can play the lows .
@Lionel - Australian Pty and Anglo have already confirmed they also support the offer..
Can we estimate what percentage of the MARL shareholders are likely to support this give away? From MARL's www site, main investors are listed as Sandstorm=7.1%, Directors total 1.81%, then others that I have no feel how they would vote. This means only a total of 9% guaranteed to vote for the deal. That seems like a long way from being a dead cert. Any other views? Cordially Lionel
Still outperforming AIM by about 5% at $1.67
don't want the last post I replied to, to be a misleading one... This will need to break £1 before I even consider selling...
@Snuggtopz - profits profit mate....personally, I've held for this long & happy to hold until this is well over £1 - will then re-consider my options and see if anything else has been put on the table...GL. DYOR
