Looking good .. hopefully we are finally on track for profitability.
Encouraging numbers this morning considering the overall market... sales and revenue all up nicely. Might be the bottom here and start of (longer term) re-rate back up? Lets see...
2.54 million! All the guff about greatly encouraging etc. Sounds fine until you look at the financials.
I know - it was just good to see JL promoting it in their Smart Home mailout :)
what is your view mr investment ?are you selling as well? i was expecting bigger revenues so disappointed but once sales pick up in Europe we should finally start making profit , i will not be selling as mcap of only 6 million looks cheap for the company who is collaborating with apple ....
Bad news yet again and it will get worse no matter what they say.
Have held for a couple of years, but selling today
FYI
8 % drop in sp value is slightly worrying , is the company loosing interest of investors or is it mm games to lower the sp the get better price ready for trading update?
actually i would be happy with that mcap you mentioned sp would be 30 to 40 p and i agree that they capable of achieving it as even the options maturity are at 40 p mark. but current mcap of 9 mil is looking very cheap, imagine you have 9 million in the bank and today you have opportunity to buy company who has good product , is selling it in apple john lewis amazon... also it has opportunity to launch it in 20 european countries.
MR I
That was good idea for them to pursue contract with someone like TW. BDEV or Berkeley or Crest nicholson(london builders would be even better where people are most likely to appreciate lightwave technology) so if the board is reading that post pls inquire about possible deals to be made with builders, one good contract and we are flying
will they stock Lightwave in all European Apple stores?
I think everyone needs to calm down a bit - in my opinion a near term market cap of £25-30m is on the upper end of optimistic. Given that we haven't exactly smashed the UK market in terms of sales, I'm dialling down my expectations from the expansion into Europe. I just don't get our products - light switches and dimmers, really? the big ticket is smart energy monitors (yes, the stuff people actually want) but players like Hive already dominate this market
i appreciate your view, o far happy with last 2 weeks performance , steady slow rise towards where i see this sp in mid 20 ties
mr investment
very interesting calculations regarding future revenue/profit and yes i think the figures you presented are very pessimistic and we know they will sell more than 1000 units...
i have however 2 concerns i want your view on
1. cash burn is very worrying as from 5 mil they must have only 2 left by now and surely if they to produce the numbers you foretasted we will be due for another placing
2 although i find this product very good and innovative i hope it will not become one of those items that coming and going(like fax machine , polaroid camera or 3 d tv with gases who never nobody wears anymore)
what your view on this ?
Buy now.
this show must attract new investors, decent rise today., 4 more p and i will break even but not intention to sell it
I'll say it again.... where is the PR? What on earth do Yellow Jersey do?... the bare minimum! what a load of rubbish. Management should get a proper outfit in. Its a great story, but 'nobody is looking'. If Management are reading this... wake up ! You love getting your fancy options granted, but they are worthless (to you) unless you act. You have every opportunity for the benefit of all - yourselves, new and existing investors... There is great potential - Make a difference.
i am also interested how much cash will they have left from 5 million , do you think the amount of shares they have is relatively low? looking forward for update...
The Options are exercisible three years after their grant, provided that the mid-price of the Company's ordinary shares meets or exceeds 40 pence per share at the time of exercise.
the fact that the staff bought in to this make me feel that 40 p will be achievable in 3 years (although i was hoping for more) lets wait and see...
what will be your sell price target or you just long term investor? allso what do you think about new ceo?
i am slightly worry why the previous ceo has left all of sudden and also new one did not communicate to investors much yet. i like the fact that chairman has bought more shares after recent drop to 11 p level... i also would like this company go to 20 p level...
The Company has huge potential, products are great, positioning good but the PR is awful/non existent. Hence the low share price.... Lazy Management... Maybe this new guy has got the guts....
Mr investment
i agree with you here although i have to say i am very surprised by how quite this board is and therefor how low interest this company brings, i am invested here for while with my average of 17 p, this is also my biggest position here as i think that there is loads of potential buyers (all homeowners in uk and europe) , the chairman has bought some shares after recent drop which gave me confidence to top up,what is your average ?
Low can this go?
Interestingly, i was talking to an Apple sales assistant (anonymously) about the Lightwave products - it was the most popular.
Good to hear.
