Interim Results out this week- I think.

Interim results - in the next few days- I recall.

I would be curious to see the breakdown of LTG et al focus: the percentages toward corporate talent management, corporate training, continued professional training, education for those 18 years and younger, higher education? Is the diversity a hedge? I do not foresee expansion in talent management because the unemployment market is saturated. Corporations are holding purse-strings so investments in corporate training would need to immediate substantial ROI. No clear direction, shaky employee retention and unstable economic times make it easier to hit the SELL button. https://ltg.breezy.hr/
Extracted from today's Pearson RNS where they flag the increasing move to digital learning.
Virtual Schools
In Connections Academy, our Virtual Schools business, revenue grew strongly due to growth in enrolments in existing and new schools. We have seen a surge in applications, up 61% in the first half compared to 2019, as many explore full time digital learning for the first time. We expect a portion of these applications to translate into increased enrolments for the 2020/2021 school year. Pearson is well placed to benefit from the increased interest in and appetite for online learning. We are increasing the capacity in our existing schools as well as seeing potential interest from new states which have not previously considered virtual schooling as a choice for students.
Three new full-time online, state-wide partner schools will open in the 2020-21 school year. Combined with two contract exits this will bring the total partner schools to 43 in 29 states. Additionally, the online private school, Pearson Online Academy continues to serve students across the globe.
LTG could easliy scale up through aquisitions, given the current climate.
LTG is in a great position- Cash is King when needing aquire assets.
Watch this space. over the coming months.
Good video here from Jonathan Satchell. Lots of acquisitions being sought: https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/924938/learning-technologies-busy-looking-at-suitable-acquisitions-after-robust-first-half-924938.html
The market doesn't appear too excited !!
Largely unaffected by Covid & lots of companies have had a material impact !
The Full year results should be half decent.
GL
Largely unaffected by Covid 19- similar year to 2019, But making solid progress overall.
Cash ready for below market value acquisitions- will set this up nicely for the future.
GL
Seem a solid set of results in line with expectations - lets see what the share price does!
There was a Half Year Trading Update Last year on 22 July. I am expecting something similar...
Hopefully no material impact from Covid..will continue...

Many key US positions are vacant right now: Director of Finance, Brand and Communications Director, Revenue Operations Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, Group Legal Counsel, Software Architect, Senior Project Manager et al (see Indeed). These are core offices. Did everyone walk-out? How is LTG functioning? I am not seeing a decent profit on my investment in the foreseeable future.

LTG is a fantastic company. Great growth potential with strong financials. I’m long on this share. Circa 41k shares is my current commitment.
What’s your thoughts all?
Such positive news for capital growth of the SP of this stock. Considering the climate, and they are out waiting acquisitions

good move, for M&A will strengthen entire operation and add greater value.....like it :-)

liquidity position is very strong, with net cash ahead of expectations and a robust balance sheet. Revenues increased by 39% to £130.1 million
Hi embers, were you happy with there products/service?
Hi Board - been mainly on EVRH board / chat but thought i would introduce myself as this is another large ISA holding for me....This stock is also a no brainer and will continue to grow...we used them in my previous job.
Another nice Buy tip from Investors Chronicle today...
'LTG....with a growing level of revenue that is recurring. With structural drivers in the sector accelerated by our heightened reliance on digital access during the lockdown period, it could stand to gain from long-term behavioural changes. Buy'
give it a session or two, the figures simply speak for themselves and in this climate particularly sound companies will be the only ones to steer their way through the next year..LTG excellent results and the larger funds and investors will be seking to secure a slice here over next few days and week of that I am pretty sure..I added on that drop this morning as the price is as we know out of sync with the excellent state of the company, it's business and finanances :-)
maqsood7- agreed, it's bizarre! Driven by little more than sentiment, of course. Do you remember the capitulation from 160's down to 60's? Driven down by a trampling heard, rather than the fundamentals.
All I hope, is that gamblers looking for a quick buck on the latest 'hot share' will soon be bored of LTG and leave it to investors.
Excellent result, not much impacted with covid19, and it’s falling instead of rising. Can’t believe the market.
Agreed, excellent results. Still on a PEG of under 1, for the fourth consecutive year....
