I wouldn't trust this management team to look after my goldfish for the weekend. They'd promise great care and I'd probably come back to an empty fish bowl with the neighbours cat licking it's lips.....what a bunch of wasters, they can't even be bothered to give any updates even when the SP is in freefall...can't wait for the hostile takeover so they get their arsses# kicked out.
Well Moniman lets hope the next step upwards is a large one...
1 step forward and 2 steps back.......
Sooner the hostile bid is announced the better for all shareholders. The management team can then collect their P45s. A bunch of lacklustre timewasters. 200p will be more than enough just to see the current management get sacked.
On a more serious note they should go up today with some hedge funds closing some short positions before the results. GLA holders.
It can't be the same person who leaked the news to me as they would be up...
So the question is, who leaked the Q4 results to insiders' to drive down the SP since Q3 statement. Is it either management or the official accountancy firm?
Moniman, they only need to report a major calamity or profit warning but forward forecast post Q4 can be delivered with results on 01/03. Nobody is stake building and Directors have not bought for a year so these are not good omens. For shares to be only 20p over the Rights issue should have prompted some reaction from Management. Keeping quiet does not help anybody least Investors, Directors and also ccustomers.
Lol, seeing recommended cash offer and Laird RNS on the same page on the London Stock Exchange news feed gave my a heart gave a little flutter...unfortunately the offer was for Stadium group. Least it shows there is life in the old dog still !
Oh my God! The management team are still alive. They have actually managed to communicate something. Nothing to do with the interest of investors or countering the recent market negativity on the SP, but hey at least we know that they haven't abandoned this heavily listing ship...
Gonnna stick my neck on the line and say were range bound up until results day unless there's any major shakers in the markets.
Down we go again are we heading for zero???
The SP will go wherever the market makers want it to go, in collusion with the management team and the people creating the stories to back it up....
Laird has spent a week or so range bound between 115 - 118p. Have we finally hit the bottom ? . Saying that I thought we had in December then it took another leg down to this level.
Would be strange to shock the market based on Q3 statement expectations to hit upper limit on profit and cost savings of £20m. No profit warning either which is normally issued prior to results being published...complete mystery????
I am now 5% down now. Any fall from here and I am stuffed. werent we expecting a takeover at 165. Also nobody is building up a stake at this level. Directors are not buying and they are close to wtf is going on? No comments from them on recent price falls 15 days to final results. Are they going to shock the market like Carillion? and fall further?
Yet another down day... Still heading towards zero just slowed down slightly. Projection of 5% dip in revenues in 2018/19 re .Apple (if true). So SP marked down from recent high by 30%. Nonsense!!! Still no market update by management so who knows where traders are getting info from???
I thought that this company was called Laird that has a very diverse portfolio of customers....Apple shares have barely been affected???
Brokers view is that 2018 will see a further reduction in sales tied to Apple's expected handset sales. Not sure that I agree that the link is as strong as that.
........just thought I'd add the latest company strategy...from the Laird website, ir doesn't say anything about shafting the shareholders??? http://www.laird-plc.com/~/media/Images/L/Laird-IR/content-images/our-strategy-big.jpg
I'm still confused.com....no profit warning, excellent Q3 trading update, brokers seemed very bullish at Q3 and full year expectations at top of the estimates???? What the f%ck has happened. I thought that if a significant change in outlook then management are supposed to notify the market immediately...???
Nice rise in the market today but no such thing in Laird stock, what an absolute dog of a stock !!
35 days to go to hit zero.....
Let's hope so...lol even better let's hope for a takeover so that we get a better management team...who can be bothered to communicate with the shareholders.
