Seems like decent play @65p
now hold 50k
Seems fair enough now
there is only so much faith we can have in eternal "jam tomorrow"
...
Decent bolt on
Another disappointing report, at the AGM the expectation was to pay a dividend, misleading information
Could this be the long awaited rise we have been expecting over the past 2 years...up tick in sp...excellent order book and possibility of going private...
Up 3% on no volume…either rumours in the pipeline or sector rotation (ie. similar aim tech manufacturers such as filtronic releasing good figures).
Would prefer takeover rumours!
had to change mind
share of 2022?
discount to tnav; good activist shareholder; great operating leverage (potential to grow profits v v fast) in excellent end markets imv
Do I wake or sleep? ...I just had a strange dream that the LPA sp moved!
Agree. Results may be underwhelming due to supply issues but the longer term is very positive given involvement in railway contracts. Opportunity for a takeover bid or private delisting
People upping stakes won't be long till a takeover
yea i think so but need to see results or this will head lower
I Still think this goes private
do they have enough cash to get thru??
dyor, all...but this change of outlook from only 3 / 4 months in't encouraging
Got a feeling this will go private
Mr. Peter Gyllenhammar took a stake
I would defiantly buy this at the current price
33% of available shares were traded on Thursday
Not sure if good or bad but they obvs found a buyer
Very cheap
Tiger here.
I do think these are ripe for recovery even after the latest delay. I am hoping to chat with the company soon to try to get more updates. At less than NAV and an improving picture there is money to be made here. Who bought the 4% from cannacord?
Fantastic company got a target price of $1
Below 60p ill be buying a lot
LPA reminds me of AIREA PLC still got great cashflows regardless of covid
Have been holding LPA the past year...disappointing to see a drift lower to 63/70p, however, according to share-celebrity, castleford tiger, they should be at £1.50 late 2021/early 2022.
This could be possible given that they have new orders and may resume dividends soon.
Another point to consider is that a fair portion of the company is in private hands, so any large-scale disposals may provide greater liquidity, which in a company this size would be a good thing.
The small technical/electronics sector seems to be in the doldrums so it might be worth a punt and topping-up in my humble view.
Added more at todays bargain price.
Bought a few more here this morning. One for bottom drawer.
Todays drop seems completely overdone.
Great buying opportunity.
turned the corner it seems
there was some doubt (when COVID smashed rail sector), but order book strength, cont fcf profitability and high operation leverage==>excellent potential
(and lpa has history of strong sp movements)
dyor, all
Pleased to see I'm not alone
Order book must be close to £30m
Another decent contract will be BOOM
LPA keep adding to their order pile with the best ever order book they've had and its certain to add to the profits next year
This share is way overlooked -any more good new and the price will take off.
HELP
All investors can you help me PARTICULARLY THOSE LIVING IN OR NEAR SOUTHAMPTON where quite a few posters are located.
My daughters car was STOLEN from her driveway WED night in HEDGE END nr Southampton.
It's a GREY PEUGEOT 3008 reg number SP15 OTE.
It has a sticker on bottom of boot lid that reads LITTLE MONSTER.
Its a dramatic loss as she needs it mainly to get her two young children to school and playgroup etc
If you spot it call the police or let me know on this site or on the LPA one-Many thanks
