Can this bank get any more cheaper than its competitor, or is it UK stocks in general??
Iv got HSBC, BARC & GS.
Its dividend is a compelling story, but the car insurance is not a guaranteed one. Just like the PPI scandal, hope it’s not like that one!
Interested to rebuy these. Had to sell the few thousand I had to put towards a vet bill for a pet in 2020
As opposed to being ANGRY, LAZY, IGNORANT and RUDE ?
Buybacks are for 25 year old dreamers.
Divi's are king if one is in your 60's 70's & still extremely attractive.
GATE,
So you just refer to the RNS and no content or value- typical of your posts - EMPTY AND POINTLESS.
Keep this up and you will be as useless and pointless as LTI. AKA Walter Mitty
BLB,
You haven’t read the RNS have you ? There are only so many shares Morgan Stanley can buy in a day. And stop using capitals like an angry little man.
Barclays up on buybacks, Lloyds falls just like the last 2 years lol
GATE,
Is another bit of advice to buy on the lows and sell on the highs - LOL LOL.
GATE,
You are a GENIOUS - Shares move for different reasons LOL WELL THANK YOU FOR THAT GOLDEN NUGGET LOL.
OMG is that what you tell the primary 1 - 6 year olds - lol
EVERYBODY NOTE - SHARES MOVE FOR A LOT OF DIFFERENT REASONS - PRICELESS INFROMATION. - DONT FORGET THAT - DIFFERENT REASONS;
Such as BUYBACKS - LOL so far downwards - YES?????
I now know everything i need to know - shares move for different reasons - brilliant.
Well done old chap.
Any more ground breaking information ????
Share prices move for all sorts of reasons not just because of buybacks. I suggest Investing For Dummies might be a good starting book for you to read to begin with.
This should be interesting.
Show us your knowledge??? -
Long Term Imposter,
You have no real explanations for only cuts and pastes and quotes.
Explain why an SP falls during a BUYBACK??????
Come on tell us????????
You can’t even spell embarrassing. How ironic.
Gate,
Did you read it?????
You did not did you????
DID YOU READ THE FULL REPORT?????
Now who is embarressing?????
Brixton.
Hello
I was just passing through to see if there was any movement in this share.
On the subject of Labour / Tory parties, of which I a now an ex-tory voter!
Starmer the kneeler and Muslim sycophant is a strange person, creeps to all things Muslim to win their favour, but I do find it odd that he, with his Jewish wife and children , supports those who would wipe out first his said wife and children and then him!
I appear to be the only person who finds it star strange that so many Jewish MPs and Lords have supported mass Muslim immigration into the UK. Taking into account that Blair, Mandelson, Straw, Cameron, Osbourne, Lord Dods are Jewish or have Jewish blood. And were vocal advocates of mass-immigration!
I say this as someone who has a copy of the Koran and the Hadiths, I wish for Muslims what their holy book wishes for me and mine, I cannot be fairer than that.
BLB,
Go and read the RNS and stop being so lazy and embarrassing yourself.
Smart people.
I could only sell 1 position my other 3 are totally feccccked for years to come, too much of a loss to sell.
Managed a 34700 pound - 75600 shares. @46.03 - sell with 7% loss but i got some money back.
Waiting for mid to late 50s to then do the same AS THE OTHER SMART PEOPLE ON HERE WHO SOLD YESTERDAY, BEING SICK TO DEATH OF THE BS and lack of respect to holders.
See you next reporting period for more disappointment and bull crap.
Lloyds presenting good results.
Share price still sub 50p which is excellent for the buyback.
Had a top up of HSBC on a dip - excellent dividends with a 'special' expected sometime this year
BLB
Once again you have demonstrated your lack of knowledge.
There are rules when it comes to buybacks.
So why on earth is every share available not being snapped up to support the SP NOW, RIGHT NOW????
WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT ------ 2BN TO SPEND ON ONE OF THE MOST TRADED SHARES IN UK, IT SHOULD NEVER DROP, IT SHOULD NEVER DROP IF THE BUYBACKS COUNTER THE SELLS - AND THEY SHOULD. SO Why does the SP fall during a 2BN Buy back as it done on previous Buybacks too.
You ever think YOU ARE BEING TAKEN FOR MUGS - A G A I N???
WHAT DIRECTION IS GIVEN TO THE AGENTS SELLING I WANT TO KNOW AND THIS SHOULD BE DISCLOSED TO US HOLDERS.
What are the terms of reference for the buyback???????
I’m sure you do Brix
Xwave, Carltt probably got evicted for not paying his rent and is bitter because he’s been living with mummy and daddy ever since. Landlords are necessary. Not everyone can afford to buy, not everyone wants to buy and some people rent for short term reasons due to work. Don’t listen to him.
R61,
Your obviously the same as Imaright and very jealous of anyone that is successful in life!
It's also obvious to me that imaright being on here day after day bleating on about scum landlords and this share price going back to 30p says he's not a holder, so why is he here?
I've also met lots of losers like you In my life that spend sleepless nights envying other people,
By the way my wealth and pension are already assured so nothing to work out!
Xwave10,
That's my point, people like you can only call everyone names and take the attack route. How do you know who is invested and who isn't and what has it got to do with you.
Where have I ramped or slated shares ? How do you know where I am invested ?
Met many people like you in my life, brag about what they haven't got, how they are better than everyone else, they can't discuss anything without being abusive.
Amazingly, Your reply fit perfectly with your ideal profile , I must be psychic LOL
Enjoy your dividends, invest some in some humbleness. LOL
I blame buybacks.
The ADRs are best seen as an overlay on the underlying UK shares. They are not extra shares. As hardup’s post notes they are on a 1 for 4 basis. When the ADRs were created no new UK shares were created and if the ADR programme was to be cancelled no UK shares would be cancelled.
ADRs are just a veneer so US investors are presented with a share denominated in USD and pays dividends in USD. Most investors (certainly the non institutional ones) prefer to deal in their local currency.
