Lti, beware, you never know when the next war will break out or the next pandemic.
Lti, not at all, the price will probably still rise and I am aware of this hence selling my Lloys shareholding piecemeal, I had business to attend to this afternoon but thought someone like you would have been pleased at punters of loading instead you criticised my post. You are a sad individual.
I still intend to sell off more into a rising share price. And in fact the share price did rise after I sold but I had no time to wait .
''Plenty of sellers out there today to aid the buyback program''
Volume with the after hours will likely be above the recent 20 day averages, which will be well above the average over a shorter period, so hopefully MS have purchased a decent amount since about 5 trading days ago.
Plenty of sellers out there today to aid the buyback program, will be interesting to see the prices paid later this evening. Price declined through the afternoon assisted by a weaker US market - US futures negative by 150 at 4.30pm lets see what happens to them once the UK closes.
Ww
good for you to notify now, as it may have been a bit embarrassing for you to have said immediately at the time, if the price had continued up towards 54p.
To aid the buy back sold 93510 shares at .5274 earlier this afternoon. Still got a lot to off load but it does feel good to be free of the Lloy burden.
Fakey
your last 'close' wasn't sub 50 - 34.5 is sub 50 - only within the next about 8 months for you to wait isn't it.
Must be good for you to simply make up a new average higher sell level - maybe you should have made it 52.1, then you could have 'closed' now again at not sub 50
MV, glad to see we agree on something.
I'm very encouraged by the way the s/p has held up, given the amount of doomsday and gloom there was on here, on Sunday!
**Come on Horsey, sub 50p
why not wait for 48p ?**
48p is sub 50p, isn't it ?
MV
or 'principal residence'. to be precise.
STP.
Not very highly!
DCB wanted to be shot into space when he got older….. If his father did as he was told he would have been.
There feels like wishful thinking in the air.
MV, speaking of fringe lunatics, how do you class the ERG?
DCB
Not wrong is he ....... Tory Bunts never mind Labour.
DCB's reference to England on his Irish pals board.

''Lost the plot, they have Over, on the mainland.''
Mv
''On your willingness to pay higher taxes.''
DCB is an Irish immigrant living in Spain - he would be more than happy to see
England deteriorate as much as possible, hence his happiness at the levels of immigrants that have flooded into the country.

Yes I remember it well, Boris (buffoon) and the Tories were going to confine the Labour party well and truly into the political bin.
As well as the things you mention. Boris was out of his depth amongst many others out of their collective depths.
Starmer is a light weight surrounded by other light weights , in fact the whole establishment is populated by intellectual pygmies .
You only have to look at Labours deputy leader, a women who does not know what constitutes a principle residence.
Labour will produce a government not only having to deal with their union paymasters but their Muslim contingent within the party, plus the other fringe lunatics waiting to crawl from beneath the floor boards.
@ JCB

Some poor souls have been suckered in at 53p,

Come on Horsey, sub 50p will do for the day....IMHO-DYOR
STP.
On your willingness to pay higher taxes.
We paying higher taxes will change nothing, for the so called poor, whom ever they are now in this country.
The disparity between the wealthy and us, the normal people, is widening all over the world.
If any government here, could by some miracle, get the debt down and government spending into balance, do you know what they would do? They would just start the cycle of borrowing and debt all over again. buying votes increasing expenditure on something/things that does not benefit the masses.
Governments/the Civil service are made up of people whom NEVER SUFFER CONSEQUEINCES of their mistakes or even malicious actions. They all think they are some intellectually great thinkers, when in reality they are mediocre chancers, intellectuals actually produce nothing, zero, zilch, they spout and cause mischief but create nothing.
Remember taxation was brought in thousands of years ago to pay for armies and to build palaces , nothing about equality.
Both Sunak and Starmer only paid a tax rate of around 22+% on their far greater earnings, than most working people will ever see.
Your money is your money mine is mine, we owe no one anything.
One of the main drivers of financial inequality, the driving down of pay , a planed action by those untouched by their own actions as mentioned above.
Your money keep it.
"Also to be considered is if we are in for two or three terms of Labour government."
If I recall well, many said similar when Boris got home with a great majority - They had to deal with Brexit, The COVID pandemic and the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, an energy crisis and world wide inflation - What excuses remain available for Labour, I'm sure they will make so up.
5 years to figure out what the tory voter has. that we are living with a centralist european federal want to be government. aligning ourselves with our allies no matter what those who allowed them to be represented by these ****roaches want. #wefminster is all just #orchestratedtheatre we are all governed by the davos shadow cabal. you being a socialist and all that, i thought you would of learned how the system is gamed.
