Haha.....😆
So no response. Which suggests that the deal on the table was probably as good as it was going to get. It feels very odd arguing in favour of KGLD and on the same side as Timeless (filtered). Although, given our history, the village idiot probably thinks that I am speaking against KGLD.
Seems another poster Daisan who doesnt hold any stock on AIM but a commentator believes he knows more than the management Firstly KGLD had £500k in cash before the placing That placing attracted HNWI and was over subscribed The placing was months ago and has never gone near the price as too many sticky holders + 10% MTR + 20% Damile Just over 200m shares and theres a strategic plan with this Finland opportunity which has been on the radar for ages and in the public domain MEN have a 5m oz gold JORC play too and have the relationship with MTR / KGLD as CP was CEO at MTR Near term is exactly that and dont see the issue in waiting 12 months or sooner and being funded with no debt is key We still have GMSI stake worth £3m+ We have Myles doing a TR1 We have India's best gold prospecting rights We have contacts in the country which is experiencing a fintech BOOM and we are well positioned with CP's fintech experience Once again I hold while others doubt - not my problem
Are people looking for on this? They indicated that they were looking for a gold deal away from India. The near term cash generation is hot air and if they did find something it would cost them way more than they are paying now. Even MTR's Thai property (which, I believe, is a long way from cash generation) cost multiples of what they are paying here. You just cannot do near production deals cheaply. Are people waiting for the Fintech deal? I think that this would make for a rather confusing picture if they did this now. Or are they waiting for Kolar to suddenly kick off? I know that something has been made of 'grandfather rights' but it looks more and more likely that this term refers to how old you are likely to be before anything happens. Let's see what they make of the gold asset and judge them on that.
The posters here doubting and who aren't holding I wouldn't worry about us holders that are then and as usual we'll see who's right at the finish line Not many shares I call wrong at all and with an entry od .75 and millions more I'm confident Dibs - HH was I thought ok in the begining but you dont know what he did that forced him to step aside and hence my change in attitude towards him and lets be honest he never delivered so that you will agree CP is far more aggressive and a go geter
Spot on, any ideas who may be a warrant holder posting on this board ?
I was going to make similar comments. This is another money making scheme for warrant holders. The company will never actually produce one once or make a single penny profit. Will rely on the network of rampers, bloggers, podcasters, who took the placing shares to move the price, if they can.
Oh the old days when I was all on my Todd here!! Yes I remember it well. And now I recall you speaking in quite complimentary terms about Harvinder when he was with the company? Now he's 'pants' is he? ;) Personally I don't like the way the new Boss disses the old management. A bit brash, not very classy. And I'm not sure the stock is in a far better place now under the new management. I think the jury's out on that one. Far too early to call. Oh and I think Harvinder was chairman not CEO was he not? Like I said though, no hard feelings, you've done ok here. ,so have I. ATB
You were a lone voice here when I arrived here and you were glad of the posting at that time saw your exit point as I de-risked too You can post anytime you want but you haven't separated the old KGLD and what was a pants CEO - that's my gripe with what you have posted Greenhorns get spiked what 16% that's overdone If the newbies buy without research then fool them but your over egging it as the volume has been low on the build up The market verdict is across all shares and not specific to KGLD - you know that This share is in a far better place that when HH was here that you will agree and this Finland deal is a great start The low share count allows tiny dilution as its not in the billions of which AIM is full of
Timeless, you're correct I have exited this stock over a period of time. Not sure what's wrong with that? I hadn't posted here at all during or since until today. Again not sure what's wrong with that either? Just giving my honest view on today's news. Definitely not seeking a lower entry point as this stock is way down my watchlist now having lost the attractions it had a while back. Not looking to buy but each to their own. I think the market has delivered its verdict (for now) - 16% drop - after a few early greenhorns got spiked. I sincerely wish you and others well here though.
Initial target from the Finland mine for 2017 is RNS: "100kg (3,215 oz.) of gold being produced in 2017 from initial target" 3215x $1200 = $3,858,000 Kolar has the right to get an interest of up to 50% or the mine. Sounds very good to me. I will be holding all my shares for the foreseeable future.
Clearly the market has given its reaction to the news and it is negative. Not unusual for me to disagree with the market. A lot of opinion on here is negative as well but I do struggle to understand what people expect. It's a small explorer.
Another trader gone and better for that to happen as underpinned by GMSI and now our first target agreed May settle at 1.50 area but happy to hold as that FINTECH deal is the one I'm looking forward too and with CP in that space it's an exciting one Indian update too No issues and low liquidity is the winner here on the right news at the right time Punters exiting - good luck but on the sidelines isn't where I'd like to be One week or one month more news is coming
Because they wouldn't be able to pick up near term producing assets for the kind of price they can afford. KGLD have very little money and very few assets. The only real currency they have is their shares and a little cash. This sort of deal is the best they can really hope for currently.
So the first deal by the new management is to target near term gold play and more than the previous CEO ever did and you're moaning but then again you're a non holder and why comment Save jurisdiction too and away from India = diverse I'm familiar with MEN and it's a good deal as the gold is there Hype ? ..where ?
I agree with dibs. What happened to the "near term" cash mashine? Another year away and more dilution. Net result F-All. Yes, this will need HYPE to move it. But weve seen the same golden promise time and time again elsewhere. Look out for the "exclusive" podcast interview. Why do these companies keep chasing rainbows, why not just focus and deliver!
The largest primary gold producer in Europe is Agnico Eagle's Kittila mine, located approximately 360km north-west of Kuikka, in northern Finland. Kittila has proven and probable gold reserves of 4.4 million ounces (28 million tonnes at 4.80 g/t gold) and a projected mine-life to 2035. Ore has been mined from underground since 2010. The surface mineralisation footprint of the Kittila deposits are believed to bear a similarity to the surficial gold anomalies seen with the Syrjälä Project. Other currently operating gold mines include Dragon Mining PLC's Jokisivu Gold Mine and the Orivesi Gold Mine, both in southern Finland.
Hang on a second here Dibs61 as me and you were both here at .75 and the rise to 2.75 and embraced the posting style of me and you engage and promoted the stock and we did it responsibly and now you post that ! Harvinder being removed was one big thing and getting CP on board makes sense as he has the fintech contacts that Harvinder didnt Youre now bashing a share you obviously no longer holding Shocking form The GMSI stake is £3m and no they shouldnt sell it as I expect you havent been in the company of CP and I KNOW Daisan wouldn't of as he holds nothing on AIM This is a good deal and I'd read more into the deposits and of course slight dilution is needed for goodness sake Its not speculative as is there not a 5m gold oz JORC play near too which I see still up for graps Do people read the RNS or not https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4xR1rq5KZqc&feature=youtu.be Tut tut passionate old holder looking for an entry price or what ? 6 months ago you would of took this news as the go slow snail Harvinder would never of delivered Turncoat is the saying...
Dibs61, I never thought I would see the day when I would argue for KGLD and you against! The cash generative thing is rubbish of course and the purpose of the cash would not be to distribute to KGLD but rather to assist in the drilling so they would see none of it. When I first commented on this I suggested that the 'innovative' approach may or may not reduce cost. I suspect not. The 4.5% dilution is not much of an issue in my opinion, especially as it is agreed at 1.6p which suggests an underpinning of the current share price. I actually quite like the deal as it has at least the potential for being newsworthy over the coming months whereas everything else associated with KGLD (Indian gold, Fintech) is just noise. And I am a bit of a gold fan as you know. I tend to agree that they will not get the full asset value for GMSI but even a discounted amount is better than the theoretical value in a country that is unlikely to ever move the assets forward.
Lots of hot air and hype here in the announcement. Credit to Cameron Perry for cleverly burying the fact that hidden in the announcement is immediate dilution of 4.5% by issuing a (first) tranche of shares. Also 'cash generative'? Don't make me laugh.... please. IF and I emphasise IF they actually get to the point of producing 3k ozs of gold in a bulk trial, how much of that will Kolar receive? 15/20%? So it's negligible basically. All I see is Kolar having to cough up money progressively to earn up to 50% in a speculative venture. Beware the hype. PS oh btw I agree with Daisan that they should now sell stake in GMSI. Not sure how much they'll actually get though or how easy it will be to transact.
Daisan, Interesting, I'm in two minds about GMSI. Potential but I like your point about having £3m cash instead of notional NAV. Lets see what CP decides. Seems they want to get out of india at this rate. Anyone know much about the JV company? And the licences in Finland?
They are going out to India this week I believe. The best thing they could do, in my opinion, is sell their stake in GMSI. They are only going to be diluted further in this and their minority holding gives them no control over activity. Combine this with a partner who is willing to invest (and, perhaps, willing to buy out their holding) and a Government that seems to be in a state of paralysis when it comes to doing anything, it would seem like a good opportunity to move forward from the past and use the cash to invest in this new opportunity/other potential opportunities in the area (not a great fan of small companies being too geographically spread). And £3m additional in cash is better than a notional NAV.
Rather I dipped in on RNS feed. Strong potential sh IMHO
Dipped today on RNS feed
