we’re working to the same spec... when they’re now talking terrafactories... plural... size matters... as does scale ability... and costs obviously... location... well... if there is a significant benefit to locate a terrafactory at the lithium mines... somewhere near one of those has always looked ideal to me...
@tc: Connection please....

Carribean Islands are. :)
Interestingly @Bannor Mexico is not part of North American Numbering Plan. Fun fact. They take up the South American continental code.
But I agree. Mexico is North America.

Nevada.
TC - Mexico, USA & Canada make up North America..... then you get the Central American countries (Belize, Guatemala, Honduras etc) before you get to South America ..... depending on where you look there are references to the very South of Mexico being in Central America & that Central Ameirca is actually on the North America continent ...... irrespective Mexico is North America.

I still think the elephant in the room is the German portion of The Cinovec ore body currently owned by Bacanora/Solarworld. KC always said that the cost of production was much higher than Cinovec because the tungsten/tin credits are way less. Even so, much higher than $4,000 is say $6,000 ..... still very viable for local supply. We must not forget that Lithium hydroxide is not safe to transport long distances ( and it loses its chemical integrity; you need to ship carbonate and have local conversion to hydroxide = secondary plant = $$$$) ....... I would
Love it to come under our ownership.
If that’s happens....that leaves us in a wonderful place ...hopefully
Need to double that and add the date :)

Still, neither producing, so all in all very little coming from Nevada and even the established producer can't make it pay:
US miner Albemarle (NYSE: ALB), the world’s no. 1 lithium producer, said this week it would temporarily shut two operations due to weaker demand for the commodity used in batteries that power electric vehicles (EVs).
The decision affects portions of the Silver Peak lithium mine in Nevada and Kings Mountain lithium hydroxide production facility in North Carolina starting this September.
Not forgetting that Tesla will aim to produce just to cut out the middleman, still, Sonora must be looking good for anyone wanting to take a position in lithium - several years of pilot plant production and off-take agreements.
BCN could be very cheap if the concerns over the Mexican gov aims for nationalisation can be addressed.
Infinity Ore now was Alix Resources
