I see our neighbours Lifezone metals share price put on some weight this week and now have a market cap of £660m
Their Kabanga deposit Mineral Resource estimate as of 15 February 2023 as attributable to Lifezone of 25.8 Mt (Measured and Indicated resources) at 2.63% Ni, 0.35% Cu and 0.2% Co and additional 14.6 Mt (Inferred resources) at 2.57% Ni, 0.34% Cu and 0.18% Co each with a recovery percentage of 87.2% for Ni, 85.1% for Cu and 88.1% for Co.2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Their Definitive Feasibility Study for the project is due for completion by Q3 2024.
Last month they completes a US$50 million non-brokered private placement of unsecured convertible debentures. These debentures have been issued to a consortium of marquee mining investors, led by Harry Lundin (Bromma Asset Management Inc.) and Rick Rule.
@Prof
Agreed, interested in the mention of Australia in the updates & new technical experience in this area and Gervais Heddle getting involved.
Once news lands wouldn't surprise me to see the SP pretty much instantly double and then go on a decent run as the herd arrives.
These micro cap valuations are always the ones to see the most violent re-rates when the market wakes up to good news so sensible move imo accumulating whilst there is still a chance to grab a few below the price GH & Co paid for their shares.
PP, hoping for a strong team here.
Could not resist topping up a couple of mins ago
GLA
I noticed our neighbours lifezone metals flew up 15% yesterday and their market cap is now £618m
Vs our £1.5m market cap here.
Once the BoD restructuring is complete, I'm looking forward to the media and PR as developments here are flying well under the radar at present.
GLA
@Prof
Certainly intriguing to see who they bring in.
Given we are advised that they ate 'well advanced' it isn't likely to be long until news lands here shortly and we find out.
I do like the idea of a 'Dream Team' of Board members who have been involved with companies that have gone onto 100 x bag in the past.
Certainly wouldn't rule out the likes of PJ, Gervaise Heddle and Co repeating something similar from this crazy low valuation.
Warrant accelerator up at 0.5p will release further cash into the company & will be just over a 5 x bagger initially from the present SP so should be the first target here for holders.
It shouldn't take much volume to see a 1m m/cap cap zoom up to 5m m/cap once news starts to land.
I would not be surprised if Christian joins Katoro as a consultant again.
80km strike.
Thanks for sharing @Prof1.
> Our neighbours in Tanzania 'Lifezone metals PLC also have a undeveloped Nickel Sulfide Deposit.
They listed on the New York stock exchange just last year and trade around the £600m market cap level.
https://nickel.com/news/lifezone-metals-surges-on-new-nickel-discovery-at-kabanga/
Their Kabanga Nickel Sulfide Deposit shows the potential in Tanzania for a truly global scale tier 1 deposit discovery to be made.
Work at Kataro's Haneti project (Nickel, Platinum Group Metals, copper, gold, lithium and rare earth elements has only scratched the surface, where very early stage exploration has revealed an 80 km long ultramafic belt with grades from surface sampling of up to 13.6% nickel and 2.33 g/t combined platinum and palladium.
Should Haneti go on to prove up to be another Kabanga style deposit..
What are we looking at valuation wise?
BTW... Lifezone received their license a couple of weeks ago for their processing plant to be set up in Tanzania and are expecting their DFS in Q3 2024.
https://lifezonemetals.com/lifezone-metals-announces-receipt-of-licence-from-government-of-tanzania-for-the-kabanga-nickel-project-multi-metal-processing-facility-at-kahama/
Simply MASSIVE valuation gap to be closed here if Heneti starts to look like an analogue of the Kananga Deposit.
GLA.
Certainly is,one very cheap mcap.....
Having previously lost circa £28k here, I've decided to take a nibble (1 million shares) on the off-chance that the Haneti Nickel monster comes good.
GLA
Topped up a short while ago. Thought I'd post an old interview with EUA ceo on katoro Haneti prospects
https://youtu.be/yrHtXDS1t8M?feature=shared
Could not agree more. Haneti is going to be a fantastic opportunity.
> New CEO incoming.
> New resources to be added
> additional cash to be realised from LV
> Company & BOD overhaul as Katoro Global.
> Listened to PJ on SR expressing frustration about not being able to mention upcoming news until sign-off/ event crystallisation?wonder what he was referring too?
> talk of resource play 10 x bagger opportunities? Wonder who they were referring too?
Expect once new CEO is in and new structure in play with new licences added into the mix we will see a raft of media and press coverage.
Transformational / company changing news inbound imminently

Closest Sector Peer Analysis
> Katoro Gold - Gold resource c.1.8million oz held across its licence areas. Recent cash raise of £825k at a premium to today's share price with highly respected investors such as GGP's Gervaise Heddle.> Market cap = £1.38m
Oriole Resources PLC - c.530,000oz Gold across 2 projects. JV in place and recent cash receipt of £500k > Market Cap = £13.66M
Cora Gold Ltd >920,000oz. Gold resource - currently waiting on Mining licence from Mali Government so at a impass and unable to progress > Market Cap = £ 10.05M
I could list a further 20 junior exploration comps that are yet to define any resources with market caps that are 10 x even 20 x times the market cap here. But I have selected two African based juniors with defined Gold resources that combined are less than the Gold resource held by KAT yet both have market caps that are 10 x times the market cap here.
A 10 x re rate in the share price here will start to fairly value Katoro against its neatest sector peers.
Katoro Gold PLC is a United Kingdom-based precious minerals exploration and development company.

> Blyvoor Gold - 1.3 million ounce Gold resource
> Haneti - Nicklet, PGM's & Gold.

Paul Johson and Gervaise Heddle getting the old GGP band back together here now.
I wonder who else from the old GGP crew might also be looking to get involved.?
Might we see Calum Baxter or Sam Garrett get involved also.
Great to see the original Greatland Gold crew getting back together again here

1.3 Million oz Gold @ Blyvoor Gold project
Plus.
The Imwelo Gold Project
Imwelo, located adjacent to Imweru and also holds the relevant environmental approvals and mining licence for Imwelo.
· The current, JORC code compliant, mineral resource for Imweru and Imwelo consists of:
11.6 Mt at a grade of 1.38 g/t for 515,110 oz Au and 4.7 Mt at 1.92 g/t for 291,600 oz Au respectively and probable reserve for Imwelo consists of 1.4 Mt at 2.2 g/t for 97,394 oz Au.
BLYVOOR GOLD TAILINGS PROJECT - Highlights

· TSF 6 and 7 was upgraded to Probable Reserve status containing 424,000 oz gold and 392,000 oz gold, respectively
· The mine plan includes 1,325,822 oz gold after applying a 2% dilution factor, a 95% Mine Call Factor, and accounting for 1% ore losses.
· The CPR demonstrates (before incorporation of the results of the recent metallurgical optimization work):
An unlevered Project Net Present Value ('NPV@7.9%') of US$ 114 million, a 33% Internal Rate of Return ('IRR') and a Return on Investment ('ROI') of 64%;
> GGP's Gervais Heddle loading up.✔️
> New CEO incoming... hmm wonder who that might be ✔️
> Connection to POW with Rick Rule and Saudi Investors involved ✔️
> Market cap now covered by cash £825k, plus Asset NAV's at many multiples, even before consideration of the Lake Victoria cash of 790k.✔️
> placing out the way ✔️
> Gold hitting all time highs ✔️
> Commodities supercycle on the way ✔️
Very compelling investment opportunity whilst SP is temporarily trading well below 'sum of parts valuation'
Fair value at multiples of present SP.
GLA
Surprised this company is still in business , thought it died off a long time ago .
Wont be long by the looks of things
Expecting a big day today as an overhang cleared now and oversold.🔥🔥🔥🚀
Massive resources and a tiny market cap.Dirt cheap entry.
Took a few KAT today. A company I have followed for years but for a variety of reasons never held. With Sean Wade from POW now involved and the former GGP chap as a significant holder seems worth a small position as I hope they know significantly more than me about junior resource companies! Good luck.
This can do multiple bags on the next update at any time.
Interesting sudden high volume. Are things about to (finally) get going?
