reposting bank analyst reports- we all have access to them - the problem is when you try to make a synopsis - it changes the context of when it was originally written - it seems like your more like a poor investor trying to get all on board and buy buy buy,,,, so you can make money on your losses - BTW I am a long-term holder mate...so do your fact finding first - thanks.
however, it just seems you're posting banal comments re ergan and keep going on about Inmarsat - we are all here mostly because we've done our research - we don't need you to keep going on and on about poker etc, and that he's playing a game...no he's not. You don't know he is. It's just with respect boring to keep seeing the same repetitive posts from you over the last same week.
It's hard to stop the price moving up. I believe things are happening in the background.
Hope to see this not going less than 8 pounds.
Is hardly ramping . Also mentioning huge buys that are facts is not ramping . If you think by reporting news is ramping I feel sorry for you . This is a discussion forum about Inmarsat etc . If you have a short position, that’s not my fault . So don’t get annoyed when people point out bank analyst reports etc
We could launch a satellite for free on the back of it . Oooops sorry Echostar, or should I say Dish , I didn’t mean to let the cat out of the bag .
And I think I smell money .
On HL it showed 1,570,000 shares for a value of £8,132,600.00
That went through this morning. If so , he’s a cheeky monkey
So sounds like the bid is still alive
Another bid for Inmarsat by Echostar to avoid takeover panels restrictions for six months . Just been suggested by another bank analyst
To bid for Inmarsat by Echostar
Now that’s a serious buy for either someone who knows something , or is building a stake . Something is going to happen most likely in my opinion. Possibly sooner than we all think
Which made the price jump to 5.18 for a second or so . Nobody buys that amount unless they are in the know or are intending to bid or even up their bid etc
Well someone just purchased a massive amount and the list of possible bidders is very large and possibly very imminent according to experts. Too many nibbles to not catch a big fish with the pound so low . Why else hasn’t the share price collapsed.
I like this company and hold a reasonable amount of shares. I bought them as it fitted my criteria of established company, doing well with a significant dividend yield - the latter reason has already disappeared for now at least. I cannot see EchoStar coming back with a 'reasonable' (and most importantly cash) bid. There was a half hearted expression of interest from Eutelsat who are very debt laden and who withdrew their interest after a day. As far as I am aware prospect of interest from other parties is just optimistic supposition. I would only advocate buying this because you think its a great British company with (potentially) a great future in a growing high tech area. I wouldn't buy it as a potential take over target, its not reason enough. All IMHO of course
But that’s good for jumping back in
Look like a lot of big sells at yesterdays close ?
As I want to fill my boots before the next bid or bidders show their hand etc . Also the company is organically growing so the price will rice a lot sooner or later
To Hell with takeovers and be more positive with Inmarsat. A few weeks ago shareholders were saying the true price of the share should be £8 and now are cap in hand saying they would accept a £7 bid. My holding of over 30 grand,is showing 5 grand loss but I am still willing to wait for it to prosper in the future with new satellites, airline sales ,defence spending and shipping improvements . I am proud that is British and hope the head office has the Union Jack hung on their walls.
phoenix - think you are right. Numptis caught with its shorts down …
Every share I’ve owned they are way below other brokers and analysts. They must still have a short position in place or something. Who knows .
Nice to see a share that rises over 6% on first trading day after a) bid falls through b) negative broker note from Numis (hold 430p). You could not make it up.
