IPSA no reason for the fall...!!! except Bank of NYs sell http://www.ipsagroup.co.uk/investors/securities.html The Bank of New York (Nominees) Limited 4,431,435 4.12
Hopefully upwards from now. An RNS for tomorrow morning would be ideal for momentum. on RUR, as I've said before, Mr Earl needs to stomp into their offices up, rough some people up, and shake them down for the £3m!
you can buy however a lot less than before and at a price that looks like the offer and not the bid....
you got my attention.lol,, been NT to buy for ages...
...both IPSA and RUR shares here?
...217k buy that just came in? Can I take credit for the upward movement due to my e mail???? GLA

IPSA expects New Year cash boost By Jamie Ashcroft December 29 2014, 7:56am The cash payment is anticipated in early 2015.The cash payment is anticipated in early 2015. IPSA (LON:IPSA), the independent power firm, told investors that it expects to receive a deferred payment for gas turbines sold to Rurelec earlier this year. The cash payment is anticipated in early 2015. It comes after Rurelec agreed a short term £3mln loan which allows partnering negotiations to be finalised. In June 2013, it was agreed that Rurelec would acquire the turbines in a deal worth up to a total of £16.1mln – with an initial consideration of £11.9mln.
i guess that convinced them to move up overhang cleared now imho.....
the money owed from them should arrive anyday. Hopefully both! People will start to see an opportunity here, and RUR cough up the £3m too! and then confirmation of the extension to the Newcastle Cogeneration contract in South Africa!!! I'll take that all day, so come on Mr Earl and Co, do your thing people!!!!
not enough buys yet to convince the mms they need to move their bid there was a 700k sell last week...its on the LSE trade history 18-Feb-1514:24:041.40709,006Sell* 1.501.759,926O so the market was long that plus what ever other IPSA they were holding at the time... so just check the buy limits and you'll see that the market now wants more for less shares and the amount of shares available compared to when you did your buy has dropped.... simple supply and demand...if there are more buys it will start to rise..... that might happen by itself or if there an rns that triggers buying interest...a 3 mill gbp payment might help!
ok, cheers for letting me know. that is why I was asking if it was ok with the admin of these boards to share in the first place, but nobody gave a definitive answer. before I received the e mail from the CEO, I had been conversing with the company secretary (very nice lady), as I was having a moan at the state of the current SP, and theta my investment was down and why there had been no reason given for the drop, but no we now why. hopefully more buyers will come seeing an opportunity. If you have a look at the charts for this share, it is comfortably around 3-3.25, and only with that big sell of did we see the SP fall and not recuperate! still find it hard to understand why a 4% sell off of the company results in a 40% drop in the SP? I just hope that those that bought in are handsomely rewarded!
seems to me that the mm's have got themselves into a mess, yes I also paid the 'bid' (1.50p) for my 'Buy', and it looks as though all todays trades @ were marked down as 'Sells' at 'Bid of 1.50p? Now it seems that they are charging more, but the prices are NOT moving up? Any idea's chaps?

Nice thought though! I will paste the e mail from the CEO (hope I don't get in touch for doing so) Reply | Recommend 1 | Report
i know - directorstalk are well known for being creative with the truth...and the guy who created it bought in here today..... its not the end of the world....i agree it;s cheap for the reasons outlined and your mail backs up those thoughts,,, thank you for sharing

If anyone wants the original e mail sent to them, please leave your e mail address. I did indeed try to call and left you a message. I cannot give you any information which has not been released to the market via an RNS announcement. However I can tell you that if there was bad new to announce, we would have announced it. We have made no such announcements. Our recent share price fall was the sale in a block of 4 per cent of the company at a foolishly large discount. The seller was a UK institution for whom this holding was too small for the portfolio at the current depressed price, so they just dumped the stock through market makers. It seems all to have been absorbed. The one thing I can do is point you to the public statements of Eskom and the government of South Africa as to the planned extension of all MTPPP contracts, of which IPSA’s Newcastle Cogeneration is a beneficiary. When there is something to announce, we will announce it, I promise. In the meantime there is nothing more which we can say. Best regards, Peter Earl Peter Earl Acting Chief Executive Office
No tricks here mate. My intention was just to share information, available in the public domain, with people interested in this share!
Whatever it was, has it had some impact? price just went up 1.60 on Google and then back down to 1.54, still up in 1.5 anyway!!! I'm still perplexed by why my e mail I posted here came about on another website, with Email Seller Cleared on it? don't get it!
it means be careful what you post as your mail will get spammed across the universe as "news"..... still it did the trick - there have been buyers
Blimey!!! that's my e mail which I posted on here! What the heck does e mail seller cleared mean??????

have a check now! looks a bit better.
have to wait until the end of March (at the latest) but confirmation of the South African contracts are due by then, but that should drive the SP up, also there is that lingering £3m owed by Ruralec, for whatever reason just hasn't been paid yet! Keep the busy coming folks, I'd invest more in here if I could, but I am maxed out now!!!! GLA
at just over 400k of buys now at the bid.... so from th 700k..maybe 300k left?
