And they will lose their money. Clueless.
Down and out. Feel better about my pf now though.
"Voluntary admin is a way to gain time, free from creditors hassel. Administrators will get the best possible outcome for the company...
Negotiations could well continue and be resolved with guidance from the administrator...please correct if wrong."
It's more the case of "shareholder hassle" when a company is so skewed towards creditors being the larger party. The larger stakeholder. In that case, willing creditors might tempted to swap debt for equity. When you are a smaller stakeholder shareholder you are more of the hassle than the creditors as there claims are easy if they are willing to swap or the assets are realisable. Sahreholder have been unwilling to commit more capital - that's the hassle.
Dont think intu has too many options as it was struggling to get rent off its tenants and debt pile kept on mounting up.These negotiations were going on for months if not years .Having said that if company is placed into administration crediyors would be first in line to get money after disposals while shareholders would be last.
INTU is also seeking agreements from its wide range of creditors, from big banks to hedge funds, for them not to take action if it breached certain terms on its loans.
Yup before was worth a gamble I even saw the last rns as a positive but today’s no I’m sorry I’m our accept the Small loss cos was just a gamble if they do release an rns with an agreement I’ll be straight back in cos it will bounce...lower avg now anyway :D
If this doesn't get sorted. Think of all the stores around the UK that will shut and job losses. Not a good ending at all.
Lots of buys still taking place. Is this just in hope that they’ll be able to sell later for profit? Or are people really taking a gamble on this?
I’m hoping for it to reach 2p again to sell, may then rebuy a few shares if it dips under 1p just in case we have a last minute turnaround!

Hopefully an 11th hour RNS to say rescue package agreed. I hopeboth sides are mulling over a an agreement to give or accept an least 12 month standstill.
That people are still buying it after this rns, administration is looming and that means shareholders would lose everything.
Parkez- hope it works out for you. I sold last week. Not much of a gambler!!!
Remember being in this position when MTV went into admin...same warning RNS in the morning...still plenty of takers.Yes i was one, i love a gamble .
Obviously not learned from my experience!!
well just took the other £150, thats it from me now.
Just wait and see what happens.
And Sirius minerals. Shareholders completely shafted.
Yes, remind me of TCG, pure gamble now.
2.50 bid??.... wasn't expecting that!..
Wow, how bitter are you!?
Has DHC popped his head in here today to apologise? That man is a disgrace.
Seen this happen before. Shareholders hang on hoping government will step in and bail them out. However they won’t do it here as the centres will survive even if Intu ho into administration. It’s a gamble - you will either have something or nothing after today but be sure not to receive any government assistance on this one!
I'm with you on that....sold this morning at 1.6.....will be pig sick if a deal done today, but heyho...pays your money & takes your chances!. ..
Took a gamble paid the price my geuss someone will buy it out of administration and leave the us with **** all
Probably drank down on the beach until the police throw them off!! Lol
"The centres will survive"
I agree, only I'm nit sure who will own the business. I didn't want to participate in the equity, but I thougt the debt was a more interesting.
I can't see shareholders having much importance in the process, they've been unwilling to come up with the capita, and are by far the smallest stakeholders. That suggest if a class of stakeholders get trhown under the bus so The centres will survive"...it won't be a surprise which stakeholders it's most likely to be. That doesn't mean I don't think there's not going to be pain..but just the 25% YTM might just dull some of it.
Probs buy 3 Budweisers but that is 5.50
