That's a pretty impressive list that have been selected :))
InfraStrata" or the "Company") Islandmagee Gas Storage Project - Issue of Invitation to Tender InfraStrata plc (AIM: INFA), the UK quoted company focused on the development of natural gas storage capacity, is pleased to announce that it has today issued an ITT (Invitation to Tender) package for its Islandmagee gas storage project (the "Project") in order to appoint an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractor for construction of the Project. The issuing of the ITT follows on from the recent completion of the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and the invitation for expressions of interest in construction of phase 1 of the Project that was issued in September. The expressions of interest received have been evaluated and highlighted the following organisations who have been selected to be included within the ITT round: · WSP · SNC-Lavalin · Saipem · Petrofac · Fluor · Costain The ITT includes a package for all surface, subsurface and integration works required to develop the Project. The Project works have been split into phase 1 (two caverns) and phase 2 (six caverns) for a total of 8 caverns and therefore, it is expected that the contract will be awarded in two staged phases in line with the planned construction phases. There is no guarantee that by running this ITT process InfraStrata will find an EPC contractor with which it is able to reach mutually agreeable terms. The date for receiving ITT returns from potential EPC contractors has been set as 28 February 2019, providing eight clear weeks to formulate responses. InfraStrata is also in the process of finalising the ITT documents for the Owners Engineer package required to oversee the selected EPC contactor. It is expected that package will be issued in the new year. John Wood, Chief Executive Officer commented: "We are happy to have released the ITT package before the end of 2018, to ensure that we receive offers back in the early part of next year. Selecting an EPC contractor will be an important step on our road to final investment decision (FID) by the end of H1 2019." Further updates will be provided in due course.

Brussels — Decarbonizing natural gas to ensure its long-term future in the EU's low-carbon economy will be a key policy driver in the coming years, and 2019 will see several major studies looking at how to achieve this.
The European Commission has already launched a study looking at coupling with the power sector to produce renewable and decarbonized gases, and is planning further studies on improving the EU's gas market rules and aligning them with the power market.
That is indeed a very good point and all part of the final pieces of the jigsaw being slotted into place. The potential for game changing news here is just huge and investor's know it hence how well the SP has held up recently. Let's hope that one of the consultants turns out to be from say Costain. If we got a mention in the Daily mail the other day for the fact Infa had applied for an additional licence for extra caverns imagine the articles Infa would get in the national papers confirming that the first UK gas storage project in over a decade has been rubber stamped with confirmation of funding. Let's hope we get the positive update on equity funding JW has been promising in Q4.
Such a shame that our own government in this and so many ways lacks the sense and foresight of our existing EU partners

It would definitely make sense imo Setanta!
Also how could I omit the £40million EU grant application when talking about 2019
Now there's a percipient observation spud. Good on you! I suspect you've hit the nail bang on the head !
Equity news, new directors (could they be connected to equity and construction partners?), new projects
2019 going to be an exciting year for Infrastrata imo
Would be nice to see an update, doesn’t really matter whether it comes this month or next. Only short term traders are likely losers. Looking forward to an exciting 2019! GLA.
My sentiments entirely, one milestone I would be happy to see JW miss. Coming in early Jan would likely have a far more beneficial impact especially if the project scale has been expanded
Considering it is getting tight to announce an equity funding deal in Q4 now, the sp is holding up remarkably well.
Hi all just love infa .upwards and onwards .just like to say to all who post on here well done .its much appreciated....
I do hope you’ve been good speedy .. I will be putting the sherry and mince pie out for Santa
Except one tiny little RNS from JW saying funding secured!! What a nice gift that would be for all us LTH's.
Nice consolidation today
8k worth of shares this morning.......not showing as yet!
I do know there was an EU meeting about 2019 gas pci this week. I saw a 3rd party tweet about it last week (can't find it)
Could it be that Infa is planning to get its hands on more EU grant money to help build the extra 15 caverns at IM?
Well said Mcadder ...you should know !!
His contribution with experience of EU contracts and legislation was invaluable - MB is leaving the bod knowing that all his hard work is now bearing fruit and as the RNS mentions there will be a smooth handover to other consultants to finish off loose ends. It's a timely reminder though that family and health come first and we all wish you well for the future Matthew.
I belive the success of the 4m EU funding was largely attributed to MB. Best wishes for the future Matthew.
Well said Spud, I second that.
I don't know if he reads this bb, but would like to thank Matt for his work helping resurrect infa.
All the best in everything sir
