The news this morning demonstrates to me that many potential investors want a part of this project and today's news can only be excellent news for the company and in particular shareholders. To have a last minute scramble and a further off to consider is very interesting and could also force other parties into coming back with a better offer. It seems we may be into a bidding war here to initially fund the one part of the project. This may also reduce the debt to be raised in the long term. For me the sp should rise considerably on this once the dust settles.
I would usually be a little negative with any delays particular in respect of an aim company, as we all know these RNS's which include delay is usually a catalyst for a fall in the share price? However on this occasion I firmly believe this news is better than actually announcing the deal in Q4!
Mr T
"With this offer in mind, we remain on schedule to conclude all matters and undertake the FID by end Q2 2019"
No delay with FID, just got to wait slightly longer for equity partner and deal structure.
JW going for best interests of InfraStrata and shareholders imo, all about the best long term relationship with "deep pocketed " investors
Possibly until they announce the partner but realistically the FID is the key event here to provide the value imo.
3-6 months? A few weeks until they announce preferred equity financing imo
Yep. Slight delay but honest enough to provide a timetable of what is expected and when.
3-6 months to get fully sorted
Yes. Nice to see the have definite bids on the table. Even better that somebody’s stepped in at the last minute with a new offer. Should help the steady rise we’ve been seeing
Delay cause a new offer came in last minute that needs evaluating - that's my kind of RNS ^_^
Update out
Yep exactly thought it was worth posting as shale gas could turn out to be a damp squib - makes the need for storage even greater
Interesting if you look at slide 11 in the recent infa presentation it states, if no shale gas, imports will end up being 70% of demand!

Limit on fracking quakes will stop shale gas development, says Ineos
Emily Gosden, Energy Editor
December 26 2018, 12:01am, The Times
Shale gas is unlikely to be developed in Britain unless strict limits on earthquakes caused by fracking are relaxed, the company with the biggest exploration rights has warned.
Ineos, the petrochemicals giant controlled by Jim Ratcliffe, an outspoken advocate of fracking, has amassed rights to explore across vast stretches of northern England.
Ministers have enthusiastically backed the development of shale gas, but have also set strict limits on the earth tremors caused by fracking, the process used to extract the gas.
Good find Spud looking forward to developments over the next week or so now that the effects of too much drink are starting to wear off lol
Finger on the pulse spud!
Shouldn't be long now before the funding /offtake update.....sp should rocket on that!....genuine and substantial rerate coming !!
Don't do it snow head, let your excitement run wild ^_^
Snowman your nuts lol I hope you can contain your excitement over the festive period in readiness for liftoff ;))

Anyhow folks as a 10 year LTH waiting for another few days or even the whole of January is of little concern ..when the RNS appears in the eastern sky ( and for sure it will soon) it will have been well worth the wait and with all thanks to JW and his well assembled expert team.
