Just seen this from Graham Couser on Linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/posts/graham-couser-7869b0b_shiprepairs-shipbuilding-belfastjobs-activity-6817602727724548096-cRzR It is still not clear why the Azura is staying for 3 months.
Thanks stokey did look into shipbuilding strategy looks like it is due Q3
oldtramp In relation to your 20.07 post of yesterday I cannot find the reference to the hydrogen strategy being due last year. I note that the EU strategy was published in July 2020 and my memory is that at the time there was discussion around the UK strategy. I also note that at the Hydrogen Advisory Council's March meeting, (the minutes can be reached from this link https://www.google.com/search?q=hydrogen+advisory+council&sxsrf=ALeKk03H7dmh5WQxmpgPwrkctgGJakhPpw%3A1625985465130&source=hp&ei=uZHqYMLjBeqBhbIPnuCWyAw&iflsig=AINFCbYAAAAAYOqfyVX4dnJjSVqtDlbF3xc66A1YnJeS&oq=hydr&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAEYADIECCMQJzIECCMQJzIECAAQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIHCAAQsQMQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzoQCC4QsQMQgwEQxwEQowIQQ1CeE1iTGmCnN2gAcAB4AIAB5AGIAcQFkgEFMC4zLjGYAQCgAQGqAQdnd3Mtd2l6&sclient=gws-wiz) , The strategy was due in the first half of this year so it is late again.
Hi stokey you have got me confused yet again lol The 10 point plan was published in Nov 2020
Hydrogen is one of the ten points in the UK Government’s new plan for a “green industrial revolution” revealed on 18 November 2020.
In 2021, the Government’s hydrogen strategy will be published which will set out business models and the revenue mechanism for private sector investment. There will also be a consultation on the Government’s preferred business models for hydrogen in 2021 with the aim to finalise hydrogen business models in 2022.

Could you possibly post me link to proposed 2020 publishing date ? Only because i have been following hydrogen progression for years and must have missed that.
many thanks OT
oldtramp In relation to your 18.34 post we are going to have to agree to disagree on when it was originally due. I also have shares in PHE and last year we were expecting the hydrogen strategy. I recall because we had the EU hydrogen strategy last year which raised questions about the UK hydrogen strategy. Still waiting for Boris Johnson to come good on the promises he mad at the time of the Appledore purchase.
I have assumed the worst possible case scenario with my valuation. That is, based on no net income. Should those assets then start to produce income, the accretive performance would chance dramatically. I an looking at the rock bottom value. I do, as a shareholder who has added all the way down, believe that revenue will be generated sufficient to generate (net) profits. As and when that happens, PEs, EBIT and EBITDA will all become relevant.
Hi Stokey I can’t comment on timing of shipbuilding strategy but the Hydrogen strategy has always been 2021 all I am hoping for is a 20% blend of hydrogen into the gas supply which would make no difference to consumers and NI current pipeline is well suited to take that straight away
Would also like to see some orders or policy for hydrogen trains but that is another mater lol
oldtramp in relation to your 17.08 post that is what they said last year. If the National Shipbuilding Strategy is going to be published before the summer we have two weeks to publish it as then the House will rise until September.
Going to be an interesting 10 trading days awaiting news by the looks of things imho
UK Gov due to publish hydrogen strategy before Summer recess on 22 July should be an interesting read
September /October.
Just seen this on Monday

Morning Stokey, seconds apart again. Feels like we are stalking each other. lol
As I said, financials are not my area of expertise.
I'll stick to the tools and creating things, and let those that know this stuff fill in the gaps.
Lottie123 In relation to your 05.00 post in the interim report for the six months to 31 January 2021, (see the 19 April 2021 RNS), the Net Assets are given as £20,254,631. I am not sure how you can calculate the NAV from this figure.
Morning Lottie. According to the financials tab of that link, up to Q2 2021 their assets totaled 51.21m with total debt running at 18.13m. Not my area of expertise, tbh, so I just took one from the other and it gave 33.08m or 27p when divided by the current issue.
But then there's the other stuff, such as liabilities, equity and cash/ cash quivalents and thats me done as I was geting the same feeling as when doing my tax return. That's why I pay an accountant. :)
Valuation of INFA using EDIT or EBITDA is of little relevance given their fledling status. That is for mature businesses. I am talking about a valuation of its assets x debt. Mature businesses are valued more on a price to earnings ratio (PE) or sometimes sales in young tech companies. With little in the way of earnings and multiple new, as yet, unproductive assets on board, one can only really use a finger in the air value of its catalogue of assets. I feel that this should be at least 15p. With the boom in offshore energy, I am sure demand for their assets would be higher than when they bought them at knick down prices. As I say, it is subject to demand so a valuation is circumspect. No formal value should be applied using any earnings method.
Was just seconds away from posting that Stokey. lol
Would have liked to hear Lotties view on the numbers they have there.
Lottie123 In relation to your 16.22 post please see this link https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xlon/infa/valuation
I wonder what the Net Asset Value per share is. I am guessing but surely, net of debt, it is at least 15p. Maybe I am wide of the mark. As I say, it's just a guess as who knows the value of assets, bought at knockdown prices, when you fail to make material revenue gains. Might be a bit harsh given the difficulties of the last 18 months. Anyway, if it is 15p or more more...the current share price is a steal. I have added again today.
Silence from droderick (who seemed to have inside knowledge of the LoI's automatic expiry) and Karen...
How much profit is there in a £1m one-off vessel, especially with no staff experienced in a build of this type?
Perhaps not out of the realm of Appledore though
Killik adding again and I don't think it will stop there.Looks like things are starting to play out now and we will hopefully find out just why the old board were ousted.Killik are accumulating for someone .
stokey12,
I could knock that up in my garage!
I would hope that H&W have their sights on bigger fish (though I have my, oft-repeated, doubts that they will be building anything).
I just saw this https://bidstats.uk/tenders/2021/W12/747503974 and wonder if H&W put in a Bid as it is on their doorstep.
