Is there any possibility of the new Royal yacht being built at Appledore? Even with considerable help from Belfast, it seems a stretch, but you never know.
Schlum ref 14.47 post I would disagree I think that it is likely to end up being a straight fight between Cammell Laird and Appledore. Before BAB bought it Appledore did build Yachts so there is that knowledge. Also I note that the Defence Secretary at the event for possible bidders did mention Appledore. I am sure that the new manager at Appledore will bring his experience to bear in the production of the tender.
In my view and an ideal world
Appledore would build scillonian iv

Bubble2021 ref 11.04 post INFA have officially abandoned the FSRU project in Barrow in Furness so what does your 11.04 post refer to as I am not aware of any other INFA project in that area.
Maintenance contract for wind turbines irish sea ,someone will be maintaining them ,theres a huge area of cleared dockside and docking bays ,there is approx 1,000 wind turbines in the bay with further contracts awarded to build more ,do infra own the land Stokey?
Contracts have been awarded more wind turbines in the irish sea stokey ,check recent auction by government
Bubble2021 Ref 11.53 post having read the Tue, 9th Jul 2019 07:00 RNS it looks like the land is own by Meridian Holdings who are a Cayman Island Company. I am not sure if INFA exercised their rights under the agreement to acquire the land.
Bubble2021 Ref my 14.05 post on doing further research I came across the Thu, 28th May 2020 07:00 RNS which details agreement to purchase the FSRU project for £8m. The FID was due to be taken within 30 Months of July last year so there is still about 17 months. As the FSRU is being discontinued I am not sure of the status of the SPA. It may be that if a more profitable use can be found then INFA may go ahead and purchase the asset.
