Apparently according to a one poster, regarding point 3) Any monies recovered in the future, as settlement for any litigation, will be split 50/50 between the buyer (of IMG)_and the existing shareholders on the register when the litigation was announced. What happens to costs if they lose, I don't know. I haven't verified this tho..
Seems a shame to be losing this company to foreign owners for just 182p per share. I would have thought other bidders out there had deeper pockets? I see Carillion [CLLN] and Stanley Gibbons [SGI] are both looking like they are going to be foreign owned as well.......... When is a British company going to do some of the buying?
You predict "talks" will fail, when they've already concluded, and then raise your target? Peculiar imagination, and I shudder to think how much you must have lost shorting this.
I'm out you have persuaded me Mr Oracle🤡 Thank you oh great one 🤡 Ciao 👋
Trolling again. This was the guy who said it's going below £1.20.Pathetic, obvious and always wrong! The only person he's taking in is himself.Still he's obviously bored and thinks he's funny.
I would be looking to get out if I were you ...this talks will come to nothing NADA !
A steady result for the second eleven 😁 Any dip is a buy in this today
Another 3 points arsenal58. Prefer the days of Radford Kennady and George up front and Adams as the anchor man. Sounds like ARM are sitting on the sidelines!
No country👋🤓They are not suing 🍎😲
Anyone know in which country's court IMG is suing Apple? Is it America or Britain??
or ARMageddoff? From the RNS: "One party has not confirmed whether its interest in the Imagination Group has terminated and accordingly it remains a potential offeror for Imagination for the purposes of the Takeover Code."
Now that's a nice buy to end the day on!
I will fill my boots after they have dragged it down the very worst price i will sell at is 182 no brainer really although would be great if Apple do come in with a counter offer, these games i don't mind playing.
right side of this share looking at the action in the last hour. Short squeeze in action 💰🤑💥
Apple bought its 23 mio shares late last year, so owns them around the £2.35 so this sale would lock in a circa £12 million loss on their holding.
Bird in the hand.......
1.500.000 ,172.41💥💰
Apple buying IMG would achieve two things, 1. court case would go away = legal savings & possible case savings (ie possible losses if court decision goes against them), 2. keep a very unwanted competitor from obtaining technology that was until recently (and still maybe) important to Apple. 3. Apple own 8% and presumably at higher prices? (not sure when it bought its stake)if so would they want to lock in a loss ? 4. Apple has already looked at buying IMG back in 2016 and rumored again in 2017 5. Apple buying IMG would definitely sit better with UK PLC ie less negative publicity unlike ARM.
If IMG win their court case vs Apple, what kind of figure will Apple pay to IMG? Are we talking tens of millions? Hundreds of millions?
MM's up to their usual tricks. I'm very confident. Have faith and watch the SP ride back upward into the close as the shorters exit stage left! Ha...ha...
We know someone is going to pay 182 so why has it dropped in the last hour or so from 170 to 166 Doesn't make a lot of sense to me
more than £1 lower than the share price before the Apple crumble. Chinese getting an amazing bargain if no-one reacts. The few months of proper management have hinted at the true potential, but with some real oomph behind them ... imagine
Bought 25k @ just under £1.68 ... seen articles about take over bid at £1.82 but from memory bid is contingent on something?
Oh the irony if the Chinese 'borrow' apple technology to build their own high-spec phones based on IMG chips
