Relax this should go through no problem , imaginations share price says that, and who knows a cheeky bid just might appear now after the majority of shareholders have told imagination that they are happy with 1.82 ,,,, that's normally the time when the men in dark glasses give the Nod , why hasn't Apple stated yet that it isn't interested in biding ? I would like clarity on that position, but welcome canyon bridges offer with open arms. But I would kiss Tim cook/ Apple for a 2.10 offer LOL CAYON BRIDGES the insider dealings is not concerning me, as yet he hasn't made a cent from this revelation, and by the time they put him through the legal system we will have our money in the bank. FLA
Does anyone know if the meeting today has confirmed the sale to Canyon Bridge? As someone say, you just cannot make this up. Im having doubts now!!! https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-10-31/founder-of-china-backed-vc-firm-facing-insider-trading-charges
Well if theses latest chargers against a cayon bridges board member don't focus shareholders minds in respect to grabbing cayon bridges money then nothing will. The timing off it you just couldn't make it up. Where there's money there's MUCK, LOL .
Well arm stated its definitely interested in buying imagination but it didn't want to get into a biding war with cayon bridges, so there definitely is a safety net should cayon bridges fail for any reason. The twist and turns when investing LOL
The MIPS sale completed last week and the HSR passed without a problem yesterday. That being said, this fraud relates to insider dealing in the Lattice bid that was blocked by Trump. So logically if the MIPS sale went through already and no challenge under the HSR, this shouldn't be a problem. Come on ARM wheres your bid?
The guy that set up canyon bridge partners is being charged with insider dealing in the USA, they tried to take over Tech. Company Lattice which was blocked by Trump, so they suspect it will affect IMG,
Chow indicted for conspiracy to commit securities fraud and securities fraud in connection with $5m insider trading scheme relating to the securities of Lattice Semiconductor Corp. , U.S. Attorneys Office for Southern District of New York. Chow, 46, of Los Angeles, Calif. charged with one count of conspiring to commit securities fraud, 13 counts of securities fraud. Benjamin Chow is a board member of Canyon Bridge

My guess is that market makers are simply just naturally taking advantage of shareholders nervousness Around todays vote .
Any idea why the share price came off with only days away from completion and after expiry of the HSR date? And would seem some decent size going through earlier
Not to be too cynical, but as Miss CK reortedly said, 'He would say that wouldn't he!' . . . on the 24th July D Tele reported 'Andrew Heath would be in line for 2.8 m payout from the deal.' . . . ! and 'Ex CEO Sir HY at 1.82 per share will receive 365,980, for his holding should the offer succeed!'.
The reason the offer will sail through is simply that there is currently no higher offer ,and without it imagination technology would have a share price around 75p and at the complete mercy of Apple's ruthless Corporate manoeuvres, and we would only see a higher share price if ARMS Softbank stepped in to save the day, and that probably would happen albeit at a slightly lower price ? I think arm possibly would buy imagination but it definitely didn't want to get into a bidding war with cayon bridges/ China's wealthy bank / China's obsession to buy plant earth, I definitely remember reading a small clip about Tim cook being asked several months after Apple walked away from a possible offer for imagination and he said to the reporter who asked why Apple didn't make a offer for imagination and he definitely said we still might buy imagination and walked away , I trawled through hundreds of leads about imagination before I found that we clip but couldn't find it again to check it again , but I assure you tim cook did say that off the cuff remark to a reporter. So who knows it maybe something or maybe nothing., it won't belong before we know for sure. 1.82 it's not a fair offer for imaginations I P but it's the best offer on the table right now and I'm really not To disappointed, cash is king. What bothers me is if Apple really can't go it alone with its own complete CPU and without infringing imaginations IP then there could be substantial royalties ahead , but imagination won't know for sure un Til they get there hands on Apple's new CPU And that won't be for possibly a few years.. I believe it's imaginations building blocks on Apple's CPU and they are useing imaginations poached engineers to possibly 're -engineer and cloak this fact, it's like putting different cars body's on wheels made by someone who has the IP on them wheels. And what confuses matters more Apple worked in collaboration With imaginations engineers to advance imaginations CPU and software's !!! So what I'm really saying is canyon bridges could indeed be buying imagination on the cheap. There is a lot of very smart people who are saying that imaginations neural networks could or do have substantial hidden value and possibly even have more value than imaginations current CPU TECHNOLOGY. If anyone finds that small off the cuff remark tim cook made to a reporter about Apple still might bid for imagination , I would be very grateful .GLA
Hi thomasbrowne Imagination's chief executive Andrew Heath said: "The proposed acquisition is a very good outcome for Imagination's Shareholders which the Imagination directors are intending to recommend unanimously. I am Waiting for the 1.82, makes scents to me.
Yes apples 10% , that is a strange position for Apple to hold onto that when it knew imaginations value would plunge after apples bomb shell announcement, the logical thing to do is to dump that holding several months before that announcement, and show imagination that it is serious about its true intentions So only? possibly ?could apple be waiting until next Tuesday to be 100% sure that all existing shareholders and imaginations management are happy to accept 1.82 after they vote ,and then offer 2.10 ??? Knowing that we would bite there hand off for that money, that might explain why they held there 10% , now that makes sense to me. These are possibilities only , and Apple could be just to thilthy rich or lazy to bother concerning themselves with there imagination holding , but what makes the most sense !???? As long as canyon bridges offer is firmly on the table then I'm happy to collect 1.82 and a possible sweetner of a pay out . GLA
My thoughts for what it's worth guys. It seems that IMG have a strong case against Apple but think it will drag on through the courts. CB will pursue with their full financial strength to win the day. IMO the loyal shareholders will see very little from this titanic battle. One thing I would like to know is why Apple still hold that 10% as I've not seen them give any sale notice(s) in any RNS. This investment has been in my portfolio for a long time wating year in year out for good news...... If I have the opportunity intend to try and exit at 180p in market just in case! GLA
I have a relative who works for Apple in cupertino and she's familiar with the Apple and imagination legal position and she expressed that Apple will definitelyl settle this dispute , when and for how much is still being discussed . So as your aware now this blows your argument completely and comprehensively away. Have a lovely weekend iconoclast
And you're so certain that Apple is going to settle. You're wrong, they won't and anyway who is right or wrong will be known in the v near future. And no i won't bet my house on this or any other outcome.Keep whistling in the dark hoping that a nice little earner is coming your way. It's not...at least from Apple.
Your so certain apple wouldn't settle . But would you bet your home on it??? ! I think not, neither would I, Apple will settle ,when and for how much is anyone's guess .
No, stranger things haven't happened.Apple won't settle.
Stranger things have happened, LOL if your not in you can't win . G.L.A
Settlement with Apple within time limit? Pigs will fly first.
Could of got more if waited for 1.82
Sold 25k@1.795 ish ... thanks for a little bit of easy profit
God your thorough with your research Laguerre, and if your right I could possibly qualify for a bonus payment from any possibly settlement from Apple, thank you, I'm just finished watching question time after recording it , and I'm retiring to my bed now for a great sound good night's sleep. I'm going to try and dream about a massive settlement from Apple.LOL
para 13 a PS, I should have read on to the 2 line last para which, I think, is fairly positive? verbatum "If a Settlement Return is made, CBFI have agreed to waive it's right under the terms of the Acquisition to . reduce the consideration payable under the Acquisition by an equal amount". In 'laymen' terms I think it means they won't take a piece of the Apple 'pie', ie only the court costs will be subtracted. If I am right . . . . Bravo CBFI Elsewhere in said para, it reads: "Any Settlement Return would be made to those 'IMG' Shareholders on the register of members of 'IMG' at the Scheme Record Date" The 'Scheme Document', was issued 9th Oct, would that be the Scheme Record Date, two weeks after sale agreed? NB The Long Stop Date FWIW is 22 July 2018 - [a cricket term? [:-) ] thomasbrowne - me too, small print's a . . . . . ! PS Last post I misread '26th' for '25th'!
