Will set us up for £1 before end of week
I don't think your calculations include fixed costs eg admin costs and depreciation etc.
The Open Offer in April was at 4.5p per share (old money), which is 90p in new money... We are certainly heading in that direction.
I forgot to add current POO at $59 per barrel (Brent)
So here is a quick and dirty calculation, which is based purely on our conventional oil production. Zero credit is taken for any major new wells and zero is taken for unconventional. Break even cost $28.50 per barrel 1/3 of our oil hedged at $41 to $46 per barrel (say $43.50) Production of 2,500bopd Assumed exchange rate of USD 1.00 to GBP 0.74 On the above, we should be making around £17m profit per year.... With each $1 per barrel POO increase adding £450,000 to the bottom line (i.e. the non-hedged barrels). On the basis of the above, surely we should have a much larger MCAP than the current? That is even before the conventional oil at PEDL 235 (and others) and the potential unconventional... Sub £1 here seems crazy IMHO... DRYO and all that GLA, Merchant
We'll be back to 4p in old money..
2000% rise from 65p values company at £1.5 billion. If it oil reserves at Horse Hill are shown to be as good as everyone says then Igas who have all the licences surrounding will be sitting on a fortune..... so yes. I note UKOG are 3x Igas value and Igas have a licence right on UKOG's patch.
Does at least seven, maybe more off screen, identical buys of £4171 just seconds apart mean something?
Only another 899% to go! Giddy up
Up another 11% something ain't right I must be still drunk stil from last night?
At a very minimum target and as expected
It's not strange at all ... There's just nothing to say. Even if it goes to 1.30, it would still have to increase a further 2000% for any of the Australian shareholders to just break even. Do you see that happening in your crystal ball?
naah, it's going to soar. This is the one and only time I haven't averaged down. I saw the great news in the Interim results (£8 million profit this half vs £25 mil loss last) and also reminded myself that the licences Igas have are in all the best spots around Horse Hill and thought, this is crazy cheap.... and nope. For once, nope! So Tues will be 75p, Wed 90p, Next week £1.20, etc. (I see meta4 and MattyDee have gone quiet. Strange how they only seem to want to comment on here when the SP falls!!)
Seriously there's a whole lot of geopolitical news, taken together with increasing Far East demand and OPEC cuts, that suggests it's "risk on" in the oil market. North Korea - oh shit! Potential collapse of Venezuela's economic structures after US sanctions and probably debt default. Turkey threatening Kurdish exports. Nigerian negotiations with Delta separatists breaking down, may lead to more pipeline sabotage. Potential return of US sanctions against Iran. Continuing stalemate in Qatar vs GCC dispute.
Brilliant Dick, a sentiment I share - the best I can say is that my investment has given me a new interest and hobby, the whole oil and gas market thing is just fascinating, find myself Googling "oil price news" at least 3x a day. However I cling to the believe that there's a decent chance of getting at some money back - assuming the Cuadrilla frack doesn't rock Blackpool Tower during the finale of Strictly. GLA
Haha brilliant, if not 25%! I give up even watching my holding a good while ago so only just seen the rise on the lse email. An 18% rise doesn't seen to have a positive effect when your about 97% down lol! Anyway we live and learn.
£17.44 was about the value of all of my IGAS shares last week.... (only joking) Let's get to £1.74 first.... Just over half way to break even for me. ;-) GLA
As a long term suffering holder of igas I fully expect the price to drop 18% tomorrow
Likely!! Now we are talking haha
i need these share to hit £17.44 each to recoup my investment hold on i just need to watch the pigs flying across the sky outside.
Maybe half of that but never £6-7 mate them figures are few years away at least.
I reckon on the next 12 months we will see £6-£7 a share with a good run on poo
Hopefully!!! I am still £29k out of my pocket disaster
Nice rise for all the new folks sadly I'm still 16k out of pocket!! Maybe one day I'll get my money back
Look at valuations for UKOG can reach +300m and FRR over 85m done that twice in the last 3-4months! Then IGAS has potential to 10 bag! Only 78m market cap, so much upside here!
