Jesus just had a look the Worthington board is still on here the LSE site and more surprisingly there looks to be posts with news as recent as Jan this year. Posts mention Aiden early, FCA involved and compensation for holders.
Suspension was 7yrs ago.
Wrn went into suspension at 3.25p , when it came out of RTO in 3 sessions it lit the market up scorching to high £3.32p
4th session it was asked questions , did not give a good enough response to Mr Market and the market suspended it , as it turned out forever at tumbling 89p
It only had low shares in issue so although sp appeared high, it was still only around £90m, many an oiler/miner hits £250-£500m on not a lot of rainbow chasing, wrn was an AQ of 15 different companies. 😲😜
That was a crazy 4 days, ICON if suspended pending a deal announcement, on return could have a similar market fever, only 11m shares in issue, so a 🦑 (£1) is only a MC of £11m and it is always about MC , never sp
Achievable Market Cap value - divided by shares in issue = potential sp
£11m not exactly a taxing target, subject to what finance interwoven with the RTO itself....
First things first though, we need the news tomorrow hopefully, a POSITIVE update🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Visit Timor, I remember WRN well as I got in just as it came back. Made alot then got greedy and lost out when it was re-suspended. The ticker is still on my account. Do you remember the ex director who formed another company afterwards and offered free shares to ex WRN shareholders? I took them and got half my losses back before that folded.
Wrn was suspended years ago turned into whetstone capital or something. I still have my wrn shares showing on my ii account from like years ago, 2017ish zero value.
Mr Douglas ware was the swine behind it all if I recall correctly
Very strange indeed that not even Alliance News got this up yet ? WTF is going on ? there is a 1 tick on ADVFN in the none REG column but you still can't read what it say... perhaps we will see it after 6.30pm ? or keep us in suspense until tomorrow FK knows, but i had 60m of these before consolidation @ 10k to 1 and was gutted for what i was left with at 27p so was happy to grab a few more before this rapid rise...
see what they say tomorrow
ATB
Timor, what is wrn? What happened there and why’s it alike?
My view is they brought these guys in to get the ball rolling, it’s been two months since they spoke of identifying possible suitors - let’s see!
The Board, therefore, considers it prudent to seek the approval of shareholders to a sub-division and conversion of each existing ordinary share of £0.10 ("Existing Ordinary Shares") into one new ordinary share of £0.0001p
That absolutely changes the base price of the share, previously , could not raise below nominal value of 10p , can now let EHGOF death spiral again if more CLN 💩 all the way down to 0.01p nominal.
Might be his own choice of floor he would like to work from at 10p but is not the floor by any means, for any future finance, why change nominal, unless it's so you can once more raise finance and as we know for years , finance with current slime in tow , has been nothing but horrendously 🐩💩💩💩💩💩
And what’s the consensus over there on telegram? Was their any info on the rumour
Brought him in for a reason, lets hope tomorrow we find out what it is.........🤔

Not strange, its down to the company to respond via RNA message over other/rns news wire
🤞🤞🤞🤞 it's another wrn but without the re suspension , after it went in at 3.25p and when it came back out, roared to a whopping £3.32p in three sessions, before being suspended by Mr Market as it tumbled back at 89p
Seem a lot but at that high and low shares in issue wrn was only about £90m MC
With current share issue ICON is only £11m at a 🦑 (£1)
Potential for CRAZY sessions re rate , not a session spike, very high , if we return on GOOD news.🤔.........GLALTH
Hi Gordon, i hold no position here and only noticed this on the riser board, the reason given is "in order to protect investors pending clarification from the company".
Good luck here.
Suspended as share romping over 100% on ZERO news, not sure what the current threshold is but use to be around 50% sustained rise for the day , then if no release, Mr Market ask's the company WHY, if no immediate company response or Mr Market not happy with the response (like wrn) they initiate a suspension of the company, then it's down to the company to give a mandatory update GOOD/BAD with clarity, once this process starts, Mr Market will not settle for jam tomorrow if possible maybe for a re admission.
Company has to come clean, or they will remain SUSPENDED, until they do satisfy the authorities (some never do wrn)
Its a strange one, why hasn't the suspension by the FCA appeared on LSE?
It is also very strange how a poster appeared this am posting about a buy out, touted it far and wide and has now deactivated their acc? What do they know and what was their motive?
Temporary suspension good or bad, so hopefully we hear tomorrow as its hard to justify a suspension without reason.
Because there is a RTO deal coming that's a lot bigger than the SP ATM ?? and they ask for it to be suspended pending an announcement, don't forget BRAD did say the REORG does not effect the 10p base price ? and it was sitting at 2p for quite awhile, so it was bound to happen that it over double on an insider whisper ? of this deal whatever it is'' and the Market is quickly putting a stop to the rise before too many people get in, who knows'' if they did not suspend it SP could double again.... don't forget there is only 11m in issue, it could really move faster than they would want it to... before they get that information, of why we done 200% today without news''
Hope so bloomy, as said when Mr Market questions the company as it did with WRN when it went ballistic, they did not give a satisfactory answer and the Market suspended them pending an update that never came. 😲🙄
In most cases, the company provides an instant update RNA Message over the rns news wire, no known reason, perhaps with a re amplification of recent RNA comments, or fesses up to something in the works , that appears to have leaked.
All we can do now is wait, hopefully only until rns o'clock 7am tomorrow, for a more meat on the bones update, which required some i's and t's crossing (legals/nda stuff) so could not declare this afternoon. 🤔 ........GLALTH
Bad enough they kept death spiral scum EHGOF in tow, without this occurring , before they have even got started. 🙄
Why we’re IG not allowing any buys I tried at 1.95 p . Message came up IG not allowing buys ! You guys obviously had no problem !!!!???? Answers please
And many are a lot, lot less than those timeframes , for RTO the suspension is usually to get the deal DONE, that takes time and sometimes never even happens, the return to market is 4-5 weeks, involving the final 2 steps of IPO with a NEW Prospectus. So an RTO suspension is straightforward, IF they are not telling porkies about the situation, advancing to a deal soon, then have their houses in order , for previous years results etc, if not the FCA will push them away and say come back when you do......have all the info we have requested.
Slow RTO down to bad management in all cases, good ones I have been in took only a few months and a month of that is the final 2 step stage to clear prospectus (2-3 weeks first time clearance/or denial) and then apply for readmission to Market (10 working days) 😉
Given as: OTHER - IN RELATION TO A LISTINGS DECISION
From LSE suspensions and restorations document
It’s suspended pending clarification from the company , probably as simple as yes we have news (then opens up ) or more likely sadly , we have no knowledge of any thing and it opens back down at 2p hopefully the first case . Time will tell
Here's how it works, when a share roars, with no recent news release, Mr Market asks the company the question, it is then down to the company to respond (often a no known reason response) to satisfy Mr Market, or a quick release , actually we have been.........
In this case it appears , no instant answer forthcoming from the company (might need time 7am rns) so Mr Market has initiated the suspension...........so now we wait.......for news update GOOD or BAD............GLALTH
Temporary suspension, good or bad? Let's hope it does come back and do a WRN, but I doubt it. If it goes down the pan this time, please stay there.
