It would be very odd for any company to insist on an exdirector selling shares of such a small percentage. In fact it may not be legal in a plc
To me it matters not a jot if Dr T sold out, if he did, was he was legally obliged to do so under the T&C's of directorship as some have suggested, but we don't really know do we?
What matters more than anything at this point in time which many seem to be avoiding, is what is HUR going to do to move forward and away from the risk of only relying on a single No 6 well ?
Will No6 carry us through until the next inflection point?
I do hope so, the BOD's have to have a plan and so far I cannot see a plan that is going to add value in the short term, such a plan and vision has to be clear and stated in full.
Water injection is that a plan?
What about the Spirit Conudrum? this needs addressing now not later!
Fascinating if Dr Trice has sold ...
Not sure how to read that news given how much he knows about the reservoir and inside story...
Not necessarily a good thing *if* he has choose to sell at 3p.
Perhaps he was obliged to off load 27-million shares ?
Maybe he is now free to speak outside of NDA about what has really happened.....
Having been a Hurricane share holder since 2014 I am now out - but watching developments with interest.
Good luck to all who remain "in".
Good to see seller cleared should see a nice bounce next week 3.5-4p would be nice
"Bransonbull
Trice shares did not cost him cash, so no cash loss if he has sold."
I should have added:
The present Chairman did, however, pay over 40p/share for his own holding and stands to lose about £150k at present prices, rather more than his remuneration .
Like I said last night I think it was a delayed buy from earlier in the day. No way we would have finished 5% up with a huge sell trade like that
well if that "sell" resulted in 5% increase lets have one every day please. Firstly are we sure it was a sell? Secondly I suspect trice cant sell until his hush period is over. No point paying him off then allowing him to sell.
So, now you have all twigged DrT has sold, would you expect a certain other to take them on... Perhaps we expect news on shares with NEW board soon.

Lol. If Dr t has sold at a massive loss, it would serve the bxxxger right
Someone is clearly buying.
Surely a sell that size would have crashed the SP but we actually finished up today. Is it possible that was a delayed buy from earlier in the day?
I guess if he's out of a job, with no prospect of getting another one, he'll need some readies to pay the mortgage. Can't he get a job where-ever James Parson went?
If he has sold he deserves a good clip around the head for screwing us all.
Do we think the 26,589,975 trade at 2.76 was DR Trice making his exit?
According to LSE he held 26,590,897 shares at departure.
Would leave him with 922 shares left, perhaps holding for sentimental reasons?
Interested to hear what you think?
